While the view from our balcony was beautiful and the location of the property was good, the actual place was very old and dirty. I did feel like the sheets were clean, thankfully, but everything else was dusty and smelled like dog. We had to use air freshener first thing. It really needs updating and some deep cleaning. Sorry to be negative but it's the truth!

Everything went great with our stay here. It was slightly outdated but we didn’t mind at all. Staff was wonderful and you could see the beach and enjoy all the amenities. Would stay here again!

We enjoyed staying here. The view of the ocean is great and the beds were nice, what more can you ask for? The furniture is quite old and could use updating but overall was comfortable. The deck area was great. All in all, everybody seemed to enjoy their stay.

Perfect place for a weekend trip. Loved the location and the kids loved the loft. Only thing missing was a large pot for cooking, otherwise perfect.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend get away! The unit was great if you have a large group with lots of kids. The Gearhard beaches were significantly less crowded then Seaside and we appreciated being able to bring our dogs!
The unit could definitely use some updating - particularly the showers, as you couldn’t stand upright and have your head under the shower head because it was so low. Worked for kids but anyone over 5’ had to duck. But, we didn’t let that bother us much and it accommodates our needs perfectly!

Great spot and view. Place could use some updating but overall the area made up for it.

The view can't be beat! Clear beach and ocean views from the 5th floor. The cabinets and furniture are a bit dated and worn, but new floors and tons of space and light make it a good place to stay! Well equipped kitchen means you can cook at the condo and not have to eat out all the time. Good value!

Goregeous view from balcony, quiet, serene
While the unit we rented could stand to be remodeled and updated.
With that said we greatly prefer the value over the higher rental price on a remodeled unit.
The views from the unit were more more important, as well as the kitchen, dishes and utensils.
Will likely rent the same unit during fall and winter - we prefer the slower less busy off season at the Oregon coast.

Beautiful View
It's spacious and a short walk to the beach. The pool/hot tub was nice and there were plenty of dishes to use. I have nothing bad to say about this property.

Great Location
This place has it all. We came for spring break and just for a night to give our kids a little fun. It was exactly what we needed. The community was quiet but we saw other families with some kids but it wasn’t crowded like Seaside. Drive thru coffee shops were only 5min away. 10min drive into the action of seaweed if you wantes. The beach was a short walk from the condo. The pool was clean and well maintained. We were pleasantly surprised to have McMinnimins right on the grounds and ate 2 meals there that made it very convenient. We will be back!

My mind off place
I rate this place 4.5 to 5 stars, I like places like this.
Here is what I like: A nice clean big place, the furniture is comfy, lived in, but not wore out. A kitchen with lots of cooking utensils, some well loved, some brand new. Games, puzzles and books available for that cold evening or rainy day. A big modern fridge with an ice maker. The pool and hot tub were clean and in nice working order. And of course the location and views from this 5th floor unit are very nice.
Why this might not be for you: This is not granite counters, this place is a well maintained rental that was been a rental for many years. It is not brand new inside. Example, the caulk around the tubs and sinks looks like your Dad was the one that did the redo when it became time to replace it. If you and your gang are all about the accommodation or complain about the little things, this might not be the right place for you.
What else you need to know: This place is privately owned, but managed and run by the hotel. You check in and make your final payment at the hotel reception that is just across the street from the complex. If you want pool towels, ask for them while checking in. The master bedroom has a queen bed and attached bath. The other bedroom has 2 single beds. The loft sleeps 5, quite cozy. 3 single beds, one of them is lofted over a double bed.
We enjoyed our stay, and I would stay again :)

Excellent view
First. Go across the street to the Hotel Restaurant and check in there to get your keys. They said I should have received an email stating this but I did not. It is dated but very clean. The view is outstanding and well worth the stay. The screen door to the patio is broken and there’s a hole in the second screen door also. So the bugs are invited in. The loft upstairs has four beds which would be great for kids.

Few Things to Know but Overall A Decent Spot!
Pros: You're oceanfront with a great balcony and an amazing view. The living room wall is basically all windows so that's really nice. The kitchen is large, and there are tons of beds. Ample room for parking. Restaurant right across the street.
Cons: We didn't get a check-in instructions email before arrival, so when we got there we had no clue what to do. We searched all over and the VRBO app looks different for Android vs iPhone so we all had varying amounts of info to work with. After bout 30 minutes we figured out the check in is in the restaurant across the street, but it was super unclear and we only tried that because we were totally stumped. The place itself is nice and big, bit there are only 2 bedrooms with doors. There is a loft above the living room that has a lot of beds crammed together. All the beds were pretty uncomfortable. None of us slept well. I think if you read reviews and know where to check in, plus you're young and healthy and don't mind a super cheap mattress then this place would work well for you. It's not a bad place, you've just got to know what you're in for.

Beautiful Oceanview, with plenty of room
Room is on the top floor, and had a beautiful view of the ocean. The kitchen was well-equipped. The beach was just a short walk away, and the town of Seaside is a short 5 minute drive away.

Pretty Adequate Place to Stay
Overall, the place is a cool place to come with your friends and families. I thought it was a house or condo-style space but it's actually like a hotel space that has large suites. Large dining room for casual gaming night. The living room is large enough to watch a movie (small tv though). The location has two bedrooms and a large loft. One bedroom was the master bedroom and the other room had two twin-size beds. The loft upstairs had 2 twin beds and a bunk bed. Bedsheets and comforters were a bit outdated. The kitchen is mostly stock with the right tools, just bring your own seasonings if you wanted to cook. Large porch to hang out during the evening or morning. Great view of the beach. It's 5-10 minute walk to the beach and the beach is not usually crowded. McMenamins is across the street. If it weren't for the pandemic, it would be fun to have a drink there. The check-in is also at McMenamins, which was a bit confusing. Once you enter the front door, it's located on the left. 5-10 minutes to Seaside which was nice for a day getaway.

Really liked the location and the view from the balcony. Definitely needs to be updated though.

Location location location
We rented this unit to privately celebrate our daughters 16th birthday party and could not have been happier with our stay. The location offered breathtaking views, a beach full of sand dollars, and minutes from some incredible shops ranging from outlet to custom boutiques. To say we hit the jackpot would be an understatement.

Fabulous view
If not for the location on a less crowded beach and the view, I would probably not rate as high. The condo is in need of updating and a deep clean. We could see grimy handprints on the cupboards and front door. The floor made our socks dirty and the laminate flooring in the kitchen is separating so that there are cracks between the sections. The carpet has stains and the second bedroom smells of urine. I know it is a pet friendly unit, but it could use some tlc. That being said the location is fantastic, a quick walk to the beach or you can sit on the balcony and watch the waves roll in and view the beautiful sunsets.

Enjoyed our stay during COVID
Overall there is a lot of room. There are many beds in the loft but didn't use any for a family of 4. Excellent view of the ocean! The walk to the beach was not far. The check in staff very very friendly and helpful. Great neighborhood. Furnishings and bedding where old. The place smells musty but got better after spraying some febreze.

View vs Remodel
The view was beautiful. If we stay again, would like to see condo remodeled. New floors and cabinets ect... just felt like the 80s.
