Wonderful is the right word

I was pleasently surprised by the service, the view and the room. It's very easy to get there and the whole experience was a wonderful one. Enjoyed every day there. Definetely the best choice I could've made when it comes to the accomodation in Amalfi. Hope to get back there soon

Amazing view with great host

We had the privilege of waking up to an amazing view on a tranquil neighborhood. The host, Sergius, recepcioned us really well, and helped us with information on how to enjoy best town. We had a car and we got help to find a garage available during our stay and they had a big guide to help us throught all our stay.

Magic spot in Amalfi

The view was spectacular. Large rooms with plenty of light and all the amenities to make it a great holiday. Hosts were extremely helpful and very generous. House was a distance from the town but an easy walk down hill and adjacent to bus stops when returning up the hill.

Public transport was confusing to understand and weather was not kind to us.

Quiet stay with a pristine view outside of Amalfi.

The host and the place was very nice. It was away from the busier areas of Amalfi and Positano and close to a bus stop that could get you into Amalfi. The views are gorgeous as it was up rather high on the cliffside. Bus is the main mode of transportation and the host was very helpful in providing transportation details. The sundeck was a good perk but unfortunately we got rained out our entire stay and did not get to use it. There was a also a convenient mini market that made sandwiches very close by.

The location was not ideal as it was far enough from Amalfi that you had to bus everywhere you wanted to go. After a long trip to Amalfi from Naples we then had to purchase a 40 euro taxi to get us to the property 5 minutes up the road. Often times we needed to take 2 buses to get wherever we wanted to go and figuring out the stop schedules is chaotic as they are sometimes very late and sometimes leave early. Most of the time we had to trek 15 minutes down stairs and then up winding roads just to hope to find a bus that was overpacked with standing room only. This was made 100% worse by the fact that we were stuck in an unseasonal torrential downpour that lasted our entire 5 day stay. Make sure you plan accordingly when visiting the Amalfi Coast.

Heavenly views with a down-to-earth rate

The apartment we were given access to was larger than we expected with a fully functional kitchen (complete with coffee and other supplies and a dining table), a living room with a large TV and work setup, and a beautiful balcony to enjoy the Amalfi coast views from. The rooftop setup for enjoying the views was appreciated. The WiFi was more reliable than what we experienced in our Florence stays! The host also kept in constant communication with us through WhatsApp to make sure any needs we had were met. The three layers of gates/doors to get through made us feel safer. Once you get into the property, you will also have access to a thick binder with ALL the information you may need (instructions on travel/food/entertainment etc.). With a little bit of walking, and if you have the UNICO Campania app downloaded, it is easy to travel to other Amalfi coast towns without having to go backwards to the central Amalfi bus hub first.

Without very thorough instructions, it is difficult to reach the location by bus for the first time. We got off at Vettica Inferiore rather than Vettica Minore/Vettica Torricella, and it was a tough situation in the pouring rain. Thankfully, the host called a taxi for us! Vettica Inferiore is a stop Google Maps will keep suggesting, but do not take it unless you want to take 460 steep steps up to the location. The location is a bit of a walk away from the bus stop, but that allowed us to enjoy the beautiful views for a few more minutes every day!

Comfortable hillside apartment

Beautiful view, good wifi, "electric fireplace", comfortable bed, and check in was very easy. Overall we had a very nice 3 nights. Thanks!

Buses: Since it's 2 km "up" and to the side from town centre, buses are practically necessary. The apartment has a book of helpful information but understanding the schedule can still be challenging. (Determine the proper buses and pre-purchase tickets in town at the tobacchi shop near the central depot when you first arrive to make this easier.) This is not the apartment's fault at all. The apartment was comfortable but lacked a few essentials for us like dish soap, hand soap, spatula, sharp knife, and cooking oil but otherwise had everything we needed!

It was easy to access, the host is easy to access and attentive, and the rooftop has a lovely view.

The bathroom light over the sink flickers randomly even when off. One of the bedside lamps didn't work.

The apartment is too simple and doesnt make you feell "homey" at all. the shower is tiny! the water leaks from the boiler onto your head when sitting in the toilet.the single bed are un comfortable

We got lost finding the place and had a very rude greeting from the staff basically blaming us for getting lost and bein

The terrace had amazing views

The staff was very rude at check in and not helpful with transportation and directions. The location is very difficult if you have never taken the bus or been in the area before. You have to go up many stairs to get to any restaurants and overall is an inconvenient location. Breakfast delivery was not available during our stay which we were very unhappy about

Beautiful Apartment

There is the most beautiful view from the balcony! When we arrived the cleaning lady was there and was so helpful and nice, she had put Coke in the fridge for us :) The property is a max of 8 minuted from the beach. There is a 1 euro bus that comes every 15-30 minutes to take everyone down the hill to the beach! The apartment was very clean and homey and had very comfortable beds! AC worked very well.

Dissapointed

Finding a parking lot was not easy, the one in front of the house was occupied. The room looks not that nice than on pictures on booking.com. There is no window in the room, and the balcony is on the roof. The stairs up to the room has loose steps, so we really had to take care not to fall down. Mattress in double bed is not even. There is some information on public transport, but still it is not easy to find out the important things (opening times of the shop to buy bus tickets, bus stops...)

We were disappointed overall especially considering the price we paid.

The view from the roof was stunning and the rooftop shower was really nice and unique!

The toilet seat was broken, the shower head was loose, the accomodations were small, there were ants all over. It was very far from the actual town of Amalfi, and at the time of year we went, the buses were full and wouldn't pick us up and the traffic in town was so crazy that taxis wouldn't leave to come get us. It was over an hour walk into the town every day in the heat.
