The food is good value.
Since my last stop, the price has almost doubled, therefore not such good value as before.
Parking is a major issue as work vans usual hog the limited car parking spaces.

My first visit to a Wetherspoons Hotel and I was not disappointed. Exceptional value for money with a well equiped and clean room with a very comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and efficient and when checking in, the gentleman told me about the Ripon hornblower at 9pm in the Market Place outside the front of the hotel, a spectacle not to be missed. Food was typical JDW fare, again good value for money.
Car parking was at the back of the hotel in a public car park. However, this was only £2.50 for 24 hours.

Room was immaculately clean. Comfy bed
Pillows were very hard. The plumbing was really noisy all night. No sleep, we left at 4.45 in the morning as it was so bad

the location was superb. the towels were lovely and thick sumptuous. cleaning staff very helpful

Good value for money, central location, large room and good facilities. Good heating and large bathroom and plenty of towels.
The bed wasn't very comfortable, the mattress was old and very soft, this is our only complaint and if the bed was updated or a new mattress purchased we would've been very comfortable.

Good town centre location, pay to park at Sainsburys, do return for stays and get the same room, you pay for breakfast, no lifts and toilets upstairs, tea coffee hot chocolate and biscuits in room,
food not good, over cooked microwave food nan bread rock hard

We ordered two steak gourmet meals and had to send back as the food was cold
