Sehr großes Zimmer, Lage: Zentrum nur 5 Minuten Fußweg entfernt, gutes Frühstück

Good location, comfortable and clean. Room was bigger than the average. Secure parking a nice touch. Breakfast was pleasant, staff very helpful.
Room had smallish window overlooking
Car park, however not a big deal for short stays. Too many keys to carry around, no still water available in room.

We were stunned when told there is no taxi service in the town, when they have a van with their name on it sitting idly in the parking lot!!!! Meant we had to drop our luggage across town to the train station.

The property is easy to find and the rooms are spacious.
The pillows were comfortable and the bed was big. It was nice to have coffee and tea available in the room, and the breakfast buffet was plentiful, tasty, and nicely presented.

Excellent breakfast. Something for everyone. Very wide choice, hot or cold.
Noise at night from unruly guests was not checked. Guests use the lounge area which is next to many bedrooms as a drinking area, noisy until 02.00am

Hotel was great, very comfortable and clean. Room looks beautiful. Location is perfect.

Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. Good location.
The floor in the room is noisy and the curtains does not really make the room dark.

Wifi was to slow to use. The shower was dirty. The towels smelled unfresh. The room was very noisy, could here the other people in their room walk and our bed shakes when they sit on their bed. Personel did not speak good english. The breakfast was very poor, nothing to eat by 09:15. And personel was smoking at the end off the hall at the emergeny escape door, thus we could smell the smoke in the hallway and our room. For parking you have to pay extra which did not make sence seen how small the city is.

I warn you before overnight at the Saar Galerie Hotel. According to the offer, I ordered a room with 2 separate beds for my employees, for which I paid in advance.
Unfortunately, it turned out that the hotel does not have such rooms and we got a room with a double bed.
We were forced to pay more than EUR 100 for single rooms so that employees would not have to sleep in a double bed.
For me, such an offer is a fraud and an extortion!
Attached is a photo of a room with 2 separate beds according to the owners ...

We stopped here for a couple of days as a mid point on a drive from Calais to Zurich and it proved to be an excellent choice. The area Is beautiful snd there is plenty to see and do. The staff at the hotel couldn’t have been more helpful.
This hotel is also great for disabled guests as you can get all the way from the car park to your room without encountering any stairs. Our room was adapted to be fully accessible. There is plenty of room to manoeuvre a wheelchair , extra wide doors, high toilet seat, walk in shower etc.
The hotel is also very attractive to cyclists with a large cage in the car park to store bikes safely. It seems to be a popular area for cycling.
The hotel does not have restaurant but serves a good breakfast. Also the owners appear to have an excellent restaurant in the centre of town) (5 mins walk). We ate their both nights and can thoroughly recommend it . Lots of regional food and wine. It is called Zunfydtube and you will need to book. The hotel staff are happy to do this for you.
There is a very convenient and easy to find secure car park under the hotel which costs 10€ a night.
We will definitely go back.
There was nothing we did not like but be aware that it is a 3 star hotel so, as you would expect , the rooms do not have safes or fridges and you will not get bathrobes. The hotel do, however, provide tea and coffee making facilities.

Breakfast is good. Is all what a 3 stars should have.
Staff was friendly in general.
Many reviews stated "modern" but for a late 20 year old the decor is considered old fashion. The room did not have a mini bar (small fridge) nor a water boiler (super basic for a 3 star hotel) they had drinks in the hall. Prices were ridiculously expensive even for the courtesy water (3 eur) . There's a supermarket chain under the hotel where the same water costs you 1 eur.
Same with the wines. We bought some wines at the Town center, the same wine at the hotel was doubled the price.
The hotel is in a gallery at a third floor. Important to state this because its quite annoying to take the elevator up and down all the time. In the gallery you'll find health clinics (physicians, physiotherapy etc) as well as the supermarket I've mentioned before.
They have a private parking, but for the cost of the night it could have been included. We ended up paying more than 100 eur the night.
The Swimming pool is not in the hotel but in front. You have to pay separately, there's no agreement between the two. I don't understand why including pictures of that...
Now with covid19 you need to make a reservation prior going.
The room was not really allergen-free. My partner had some allergy attacks during the night.
The room didn't have airco which I can understand, but at least they could have provided a fan. Their rooms are prepared for winter which makes it extremely hot for the summer.

Easy to find, friendly staff. The room was big and clean. A little outdated furniture and carpet but still in very good condition, with a comfortable mattress. Breakfast in the form of a buffet had a variety of choices. Parking lot is just under the hotel but the price is a bit spicy considering that just 20m further the public parking has a considerable lower price for the day ticket.
Even though the breakfast was extended, as a vegan I would have liked to enjoy also some hearty options not just the bread with jam. Maybe a point of improvement for the future.

Nice and calm hotel with closed garage just 5 minutes walking to the city center. Room quite big and good breakfast.
Biker friendly.
