About this house rental
All of our four “one-of-a-kind" Bungalows are located on the California Delta, just off the San Joaquin River.
Whether you are traveling through Stockton to your next destination, on a business trip for a week, or out to enjoy the wonders the Delta has to offer, our single bedroom Bungalows are perfectly equipped to accommodate all of your needs. Enjoy what the Delta has to offer by bringing your ski boat, access to a guest dock is within walking distance. Or, enjoy the beautiful, tranquil, sunset views of Mt. Diablo on the 600+ sq. foot deck which cantilevers over the levee.
The Bungalows are located at Village West Marina, one of the largest covered marinas west of the Mississippi. We are conveniently located 1 mile from Highway 5 and a market center which incorporates a grocery store, Ace Hardware, and a few other stores you might find useful.
There are 2 restaurants located at Village West Marina, Bob’s at the Marina and Garlic Brothers. Enjoy all the marina has to offer on your early stroll to Bob’s for breakfast or your nightly stroll to Garlic Brothers for dinner or live music Thursday-Saturday. Check with the restaurants for daily and nightly specials.
Our Bungalows are equipped with a full kitchen, full refrigerator, queen size bed and a pull out bed for those looking to sleep up to 4. Forgot your towels, no problem! Our Bungalows are equipped with all the linens necessary for your stay. There is a shared private laundry room available near the Bungalows. Please be mindful that some call the marina their home and the facility may not always be available. Take full advantage of the stove top, microwave/convection oven, dishwasher and outdoor barbecue. The kitchen is equipped with a small coffee pot, toaster, cooking pots and pans and utensils. Also provided are dinner plates, cups, bowls, glasses and utensils.
Don’t forget to bring your fishing pole! Fishing from the marina levees is not permitted, however, fishing from the attached deck of your Bungalow is permitted. Additionally, our new Cast-A-way fishing deck is located right on the water, just steps away from the Bungalows. Bring a couple fishing rods, lures, and bait to fish for catfish, bass, striper and carp. If you run out of bait, you can pick some up at the Village West Marina “Stop and Shop” conveniently located at the Village West Marina Fuel Dock and open 7 days a week from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Please do not walk down the levee bank as it is rocky and unsafe and is not permitted. The area west of your Bungalow is not a 5 mile an hour area, so please be careful throwing lines, and do not leave lines unattended as it will make for unsafe boating conditions. Also for your safety, there is no swimming allowed anywhere in the marina.
There is one designated parking space for your Bungalow. Additional parking is available south of your Bungalow between the L dock and M dock. Unauthorized parking will be ticketed by on-site security. There is plenty of parking, just note that in the summer months the parking fills up a bit more.
If you have a watercraft, you can bring it too!
We will reserve a slip close to your Bungalow and a temporary trailer space for your trailer. Just click on "parking fee" to add your watercraft reservation. The fee is $25 per night for your boat or boat and trailer. Launching is free. We will need a copy of your current boat insurance and registration before arriving.
Most importantly, remember this Bungalow is located on a private facility, so please be respectful to those around you. This Bungalow is packed full of beautiful views and wildlife, so please do not disturb others that are enjoying these same things. Also, so our next guest receive the same experience, please maintain a clean Bungalow as you found it. We look forward to having you as our guest, and to share this hidden gem with you.

My mom and I stayed here for the weekend visiting my brother and girlfriend who have a boat here. It was a very great experience from reservation to check in to check out. So peaceful and I even brought my little dog. We will definitely stay again.

Relaxing little bungalows, with all you need and great views and docks close by!

Wife and I stay here every time we visit family. There is simply no better place

We were there for two nights to attend a wedding shower. It was the perfect location and we really enjoyed the back deck on the water.

Had a great time and was able to have my grandkids stay the night. The 2 nearby restaurants were also very good.

We rented this for our granddaughter and her guy who are in the Navy. He had just come back from deployment for several months and this was a great retreat for them. Her first comment was "wow, it's so big!" She was expecting a smaller "bungalow" and was very pleased with the accommodations. Definitely a great, safe, place to stay when in Stockton.

Loved being right on the water while listening to the distinctive trill of the Sandhill Cranes.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights and we totally enjoyed our stay. Clean, comfortable and a great set up for the two of us during our stay visiting our kids and our new grandbaby. We enjoyed walking to breakfast and sitting on the deck watching the sunset over the water. Conveniently located and felt very safe.

This is the second time stating. Everything is so clean and the deck on the water allows you to sit outside and watch the boats go buy. So safe, all gated and everyone we met were so nice! It has a great laundry room too which we used because we stayed a week. Will rent again!

You will be pleasantly surprised walking through the door! Super clean. The deck on entry level is inviting, you will hear red winged blackbirds. We also heard Sandhill cranes! This was the perfect place to rest, with my girls. I’m battling brain cancer glioblastoma and wanted a peaceful setting to sip on a little port and eat strawberries! This little bungalow was exactly what we needed! And Garlic Brothers just a few steps away, Bobs burgers. No cooking required on this getaway! Thank you to David, he made us feel special.

We had friends staying in their RVs at the marina, and had a gathering there outside. The location of the bungalow was perfect! We had friends come
over and visit on the deck and everyone said they wish they knew about the bungalows as they would have rented one. The place was clean and very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again! Thank you!!

This was our first stay at the Village West Marina Bungalows. I was honestly blown away. The property is as safe as they come. The bungalow is phenomenally efficient. It is a great size for two and had everything we needed. It is about the same price as a hotel room, but you get a lot more (separate) space which was great to have for a week long stay (yes, real alone time). The deck was lovely and I wish I had time to make more use of it. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We were assigned bungalow 4. When I arrived, they had a fan in front of the wall AC unit. I asked a housekeeping employee if the AC was broke, and she said it was and they put a fan in the unit on a 100 degree day. I asked the manager who said it was the first he heard of this problem, but later said he heard the problem was fixed. I said a fan is not adequate and they gave me another bungalow and replaced the ac in #4 the next day after my insistence. This should have been addressed immediately when they knew they had a problem before I even arrived knowing a fan would not solve the problem. Ultimately, changing units solved the problem, but I had to ask the manger if another unit was available and then they looked into this possibility. I would definitely use this verb again.

The 1 bedroom bungalow was a perfect size for my husband and I. The kitchen was stocked w everything we needed. The very large deck had a working / clean bbq and every set of furniture for every situation. Dinning/ conversation set w coffee table and chairs / lounge chairs. The deck was also on the sunset side right on the water. Absolutely stunning. !

We love our lovely, restful stays at the river bungalows! It's so relaxing - lovely views, all conveniences within reach, quiet and peaceful. Yet the on site amenities such as the restaurants and cafe make it such an easy stay. We've been several times and we'll be back!

I highly recommend this beautiful river side lodging, as it both met needs and surpassed my comfort wishes during an extended solo stay in the city. The morning sunrises and evening sunsets beside the water included views of otter, heron and migrating birds.
The spacious deck and well equipped kitchen made it a lovely location for a barbecue with family and friends.
Even the communication with the staff was efficient, courteous and professional. I will lodge here again and recommend family and friends do the same.

We rented 3 cabins, all equally as nice. Very spacious and met every need you could think of. The kitchen was on point, the bathroom was on point, the living area was on point, the deck was on point...ok by now you get the point. Needless to say we will return (next time with the boat and jet ski) keep in mind there is no oven. Our air fryer served our purpose though. Not only is the staff nice, every other visitor that we encountered was. Thanks for a GREAT 2 days!

Excellent place to stay while fishing/boating. Guest slip for the boat makes it very easy.

We booked 3 bungalows to celebrate our daughter's birthday party with a few of her friends. The check in process was seamless. Addison answered all of my questions in a timely manner and also provided us with information about H2O Excursions and booking kayaks with them for my daughter and her friends.
The bungalows were well appointed. They had a yacht/beach theme and each bungalow had a different feel. The bed was comfortable, the furniture looks new and great amenities.
We used the gas grill to barbeque and any untensil that we needed to cook was already there! Someone really thought about all of the necessities someone would need for cooking away from home.
I would recommend the bungalows to anyone!
