8 of us stayed for my husband’s 50th birthday. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. Our goal for the weekend was to Chill - the wrap around porch and multiple seating areas were perfect. We visited Iron Wolf Distillery and heard a great band and then went to Sorellina Pizzaria for dinner (it was phenomenal). Would definitely stay again. The property itself is also gorgeous! We wished the water in the spring had been flowing, it was still, so we opted not to swim.

The home and property are beautiful and very well maintained. We spent most our time on the back porch. Great time catching up with the cousins at a beautiful home!

The house was beautiful and perfect for our group. It was so cozy and comfortable and was spotless. There was plenty of room to gather indoors, but we spent most of our time sitting on the porches, around the fire pit, and especially down by the creek. I wish we had more time to enjoy the other areas like the swing and the hammock, but we spent most of our time hiking during the day (highly recommend Milton Reimers Ranch Park nearby). But the thing that makes this house really special is the beautiful setting. The rock formation and beautiful clear creek right behind the house felt like a destination in itself. It was really magical to see it, and the pictures don’t do it justice. We truly loved this place and would definitely stay there again.

This was our second stay at Carol's house in Spicewood. The house had plenty of room for our group of six to relax and unwind, both in the house and on the great wraparound covered porch area. It was a good location for day trips to Fredericksburg, Marble Falls, Gruene & more. Our only difficulty was the road leading to the house was fairly washed out and tricky to maneuver, but this was outside the owner's control. She was very quick to respond and send maintenance for issues she could address. We were very happy with our stay here.

great location, very roomy, fits our needs completely. Kitchen is great and living room setup is perfect for our group of six, more than enough room.

Loved our stay - so convenient and so well appointed. Very comfortable, very clean and we enjoyed every aspect. Even a darling yellow cat came to visit us on the porch occasionally.

Beautiful home on a fabulous property. Loved our stay and plan to stay here again when in the Austin area.

This well-stocked house had everything we needed to host family in town for a wedding. 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms were perfect for our group! We were able to take advantage of the great weather and enjoy the wrap around porch and outdoor furniture. We also enjoyed the games in the garage and exploring the creek. Would definitely stay at this property again in the future.

This property was just as advertised, immaculate and generously well stocked. The area is extremely quiet and slightly remote. Didn't get to enjoy the fire pit outside or the indoor fireplace due to the unseasonably warm weather for February. The wrap around porch was absolutely perfect for coffee in the morning, cocktails in the afternoon and wine in the evening. Would definitely stay here again.

We chose this property as the location for our family Thanksgiving. It was perfect in every way. It is very private and roomy with beautiful scenery that can be enjoyed from multiple outdoor sitting areas. We cooked all our meals in the well equipped kitchen and enjoyed eating at the large dining table. The living area is very comfortable with plenty of seating. The bedrooms are far enough apart to offer privacy for everyone. It was a fun and relaxing holiday for all.

Great accommodations, beautiful property. Would rent again in a New York minute. You might check front and back door latches. Could not lock from door from outside. Perhaps a battery needs to be replaced. Could not open back door from outside. Maybe some WD-40 on the dead latch.

This house is really nice, it had enough room for me and my friends to enjoy a 40th birthday party celebration. The beds are all very nice, everyone slept well. They have all the utensils, plates, pots and pans that you would need. There is seasoning in the kitchen for those who are traveling. There are even some plastic bags and can koozies in case you would need them. We didn't get a chance to swim in the watering hole but we had a lot of fun playing ping-pong in the garage. They supplied enough paper towels and toilet paper for the whole four day weekend. It is a strong suggestion that you have/rent a vehicle with good ground clearance as you will need it to access the property. One of the highlights was a neighbor's cat who stopped by every morning and evening for some attention. Great stay overall.

Really enjoyed the facility for our annual Girls Weekend. Amenities were great as the entire place. Great time there

Perfect place to relax with a magnificent wrap around porch and stunning views. My kids loved exploring even if the water was low, which is just part of nature. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our visit to Carols home and to Spicewood. The listing is 100% accurate and the pictures and virtual tour really helped me to understand exactly what to expect. Unfortunately for us, we picked a time during a record breaking heat wave to visit the area, so outdoor activities were limited due to heat and low water levels. The water level in the swimming area was unfortunately too low for us to enjoy it on this trip, however we would have spent a significant amount of time there to help beat the heat.
The house was incredibly well appointed. We didn't miss any comforts of being at home. Tons of utensils and dinnerware, great coffee machine, electric kettle, blender, toaster oven, etc. Also, quality knives, cookware and mixing salad bowls, etc. Further, the Samsung Smart TV's were great to watch direct TV or streaming media. The internet speed was a little slow, but sufficient to watch streaming media with minimal buffering.
We visited several restaurants in the area. Opie's Barbeque is top notch and I will always stop there if in the area. Get there early. J5 Steakhouse was excellent and we were introduced to 71 Painted Wines. Great wines with an excellent purpose, so I highly recommend. Pizzeria Sorellina and La Cabana Grill (Get the Mexican Martini) were also excellent.
Carol was incredible responsive and an excellent host and we would confidently rent from her again.

The house and the entire place is just ...wow... so comfortable and spacious..everything needed was there. And truly loved the wrap around porch. It is so comfortable there and is a home away from home.
The views from the porch and just the serenity brought about a peace that is so relaxing and enjoyable. Although tucked away in its own space it isn't far from various activities. We went to a farmers market and many other places with a very short drive. Lake Travis Marina was about 20 minutes or so away...a farmers market we went to was only 15 minutes so it is centrally located.
The gravel road into the property is a bit bumpy and it is good to have a vehicle that sits higher up if you have one. If not, you just get to navigate a little through the bumps...but it is manageable. And once there..you are in your own little oasis.
The property manager, Carol, did a great job answering all my questions and making sure that everything was to our liking and it was.
Definitely recommend staying here -- the home and our stay was even better than I expected.

My husband and I celebrated my 20th anniversary with great friends. My experience in this home was far beyond my expectations. The home was superb, including our friend the cat who greeted us upon arrival. I immediately fell IN LOVE with the wrap around porch!!! We enjoyed Saturday night Playing dominoes and listening to the rain on the porch! There wasn’t a thing out of place and this home has everything you need! This property is clean and welcoming. The rustic cowboy decor is charming and everything was modern. It’s hard to please folks and every single adult (8) raved about this home! We all highly recommend this property for a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Away from the cluttered traffic of Austin but just 40 mins away from Lake Travis!
We also ate at J5 (just 5 mins from the house) and we highly recommend the mom and pop steakhouse. The food and drinks were exquisite- espresso martini is on point. The price point was exceptionally reasonable for the quality of food and service.
If you are looking to be on the lake , we also had a great experience Float on the Lake - Boat Rental. They have awesome staff and great customer service. We booked last minute and enjoyed every moment of it.
Thanks for an amazing weekend Lick Creek Ranch!!

The house and the property were absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed unplugging and exploring the grounds. We’re now experts playing horseshoes:) The house was huge and spotless. Way more room than we needed! We can’t wait to come back in the summer. The owner was very quick to respond with any questions. Don’t hesitate to book this property!

Our visit was amazing. Time with friends, more like family in a beautiful inviting setting. The house was everything we hoped it would be, homey, welcoming and filled with every possible thing we would need. The wrap around porch was inviting and gave us views of their gorgeous property. We saw animals and birds of different kinds and color and were able to rest and unwind from busy lives.
We were central to many close towns and wineries, many of which we visited.
We hope some day we might have an opportunity to return.
Thank you to our host for making us comfortable.

Had an amazing stay, was a great retreat from the daily grind my friends and I have been going through. Very quiet and beautiful scenery. I'm an at-home cook, so we decided to have a few meals at the house and the kitchen had all the cookware I needed. The small road that is used to get to the property was a bit rough on my sedan but would definitely stay again

Walking into home took my breath away. We were small group of 4, plenty of room, +. Very close to state parks, rec. areas, restaurants. Blessed with good weather, we were out often. Great home to come home to. Loved the wraparound deck.
