The staff were amazing the food was so good and there was plenty of choice on the menu, a typical walkers pub.
The late night entertainment was a bit rowdy and seemed to go on forever hence couldn’t get to sleep, also some of the late night revellers didn’t know when to call it a night and were very loud outside at gone midnight.

The food was good and the bar was welcoming with a lovely open fire. The room was very warm and cosy.

Brilliant breakfast and evening meals, no complaints!
Hot water and pressure could be increased.

Absolutely lovely hosts. So friendly and welcoming, and really lovely people. A proper good Dales pub with rooms. Staff couldn't do more to help and we were really impressed with how dog friendly they are - genuinely happy to see our little Chihuahua, Fred - and with no extra charges (which is a rarity nowadays). Breakfast was lovely - quality ingredients, well cooked, and served quickly by the friendly staff. We'll be back.
Carpet on stairs very tired and could do with replacing or deep cleaning. Room, however, was spotless!

Sorry not the best

Comfortable and friendly
No where close to toilet the dogs quickly

Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Good value.
Around Good. Constructive criticism is that the poor state of the passage way carpets to the rooms does not do anything for the hotel image.

Good ale.
I booked because breakfast was included. When i arrived i was told breakfast was not available until 8.30am.
I had travelled 250 miles the day before for work and needed to be at work by 8.30am so missed out. I travel alot through work and have never known breakfast to start that late.

Great location. Decent beer and staff very friendly.
We got the twin room and it was very small and needing some TLC.
Carpet to the rooms has seen better days.

The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The room was adequate but had lovely 'add ons' such as bottled water and a selection of toiletries. There was a live band (duo) playing Saturday evening. The breakfast was good quality. Grassington in a pretty little village. It was a no frills sort of stay, but, that's what we paid for. We loved it. Highly recommend. The staff made it really, oh, and beautiful walking in Yorkshire ofcourse!
The weather! Very changeable!

Good location in a beautiful village setting
Could do with a revamp on the stairs as carpet was a bit grubby and you got kitchen smells in the room

Good local pub, all staff make a reall effort to make sure your happy. Breakfast is fantastic, local produce and plenty of it. Our dog was fussed by staff and its great dogs are allowed in the room.
Shower wasnt very powerful .

All the staff were down to earth, friendly, helpful, attentive especially Danny! We were made to feel like nothing was too much trouble for anyone.
if I was being really picky, there isn’t a car park but there is parking close by but it’s quite busy.

The staff at the Forester's were so friendly and made such a fuss of our dog. It is in a wonderful locations with lots of cafes and walks nearby. A great breakfast that sets you up for the day. We also ate here a couple of times and the food was lovely. Amazing value for money
Our room was above the kitchen so was a little noisy in the morning. It didn't bother us as we were already up but something to consider if you like a lay in
