You will be renting a luxurious apartment from the Swedish owner. Cavalo Preto Beach Resort houses about 30 modern, luxurious and spacious apartments. It enjoys an excellent location within the 'Golden Triangle' between Vilamoura and Vale do Lobo. You will be spoilt for choice among bars, restaurants, beaches and golf courses in the immediate surroundings: from the very nearby local beach bar to the internationally famous restaurants in the Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago five-star resorts.
The building is located in a private garden with a shared swimming pool and a playground for the children. This spacious and comfortable apartment is ideal for having your holidays or a longer stay, or for hibernating in the lovely Algarve region. The apartment is modern and comfortably equipped. The open-plan living and dining area lead towards a well-equipped kitchen with an oven, cooker, a microwave, refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine.
Golf enthusiasts are being spoilt with many of the Algarve's best golf courses a stone's throw away:
- Vila Sol: 27 holes in a rolling parkland; a 5-minute drive away

Attractive, well maintained apartment a 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach and restaurants. We enjoyed the laid back town of Quartiera which had a more relaxed and peaceful vibe than other tourist areas.

The appt had everything we needed and was really nice. Close to beach and restaurants. There is a lot of building going on but it didn't really bother us. The security cameras around the pool area and rules about sand is a bit odd but as we went to the fantastic beach it was fine. Andrei helped us with check in and our experience was really great.

We had a brilliant 3 week stay in this fabulous, well equipped and very spacious apartment. Everything was spotlessly clean and the rooms were uncluttered and welcoming. Andrei gave us a warm welcome and was always on hand when we needed anything - he really went above and beyond for us.
I had to work for part of the holiday and the wifi was very strong and reliable enabling me to complete all Teams and Zoom calls seamlessly. The kids enjoyed watching the large TV and we all enjoyed spending time by and in the pool.
The AC is quick and efficient and soon cooled the rooms down after a day at the beach. The balcony was our highlight - we ate breakfast and lunch out there and spent many happy hours sipping coffees in the morning and wine in the evenings, enjoying the shade and the breeze. Real quality time.
It’s true that the sea view is now blocked by a 2-storey development on the sea front. And at the moment the immediate vicinity is very much a building site. BUT the apartment complex is an oasis of peace and tranquility, 3 mins walk from the beach, 6 mins from a supermarket (5 mins drive to Lidl) and situated in a neighbourhood full of great restaurants (sushi, Portuguese, seafood, Venezuelan, pizza to name but a few). We could not have asked for a better location and no car needed - Ubers were plentiful for destinations further afield.
We would happily return to this apartment. And thank you very much to Tom and Andrei for taking such good care of us.

Amazing apartment. Fantastic swimming pool especially for kids in a secure location and really close to the beach and a number of restaurants. Also a short drive (or taxi ride) to Vilamoura marina and Quinta Do Lago and Vale Do Lobo. Communication with the owner Tom and the property manager Andrei was first class - both were really helpful and made our stay a memorable one. We will return! Thank you.

We visited Quarteira and had the pleasure of staying in this very large apartment that is finished and furnished to a very high standard.
The location was perfect for our needs, the booking process and communication was faultless along with the meet & greet upon arrival.

Yes, they are building a new complex between this unit and the ocean No Problem. The unit is 1st class. The property manager is 1st class. So book it now you will not be disappointed.

Overall experience was fantastic. The apartment is beautiful and well appointed. The location is great with plenty of pedestrian friendly walking opportunities nearby. The only negative was that the ad in VRBO did not mention the fact that the ocean view is now blocked by construction of a new building - which turned out to be a little disappointing but acceptable to us. We all agreed we would go back again.

We had a fabulous week staying at Cavalo Beach Resort, the apartment was luxurious with a lovely spacious terrace and a sea view. It’s just a short stroll to the beach and plenty of excellent restaurants and a few shops. We walked along the beach to Vilamoura which took about an hour and had a trip out to the caves on a catamaran which we would recommend.
We had no problem getting a sun-bed round by the pool which was very clean and not too busy.
The booking process was very efficient, Tom kept us informed and recommended an excellent company for our transfer from the airport. The property manager Andrei was waiting for us on our arrival and gave us lots of useful information and was really helpful too.
Overall it was a lovely relaxing week in a quiet location, just what we wanted. We look forward to returning again!

We had a very nice stay at this property. Andrei the property manager communicated well and met us on arrival to walk through everything. The apartment is large and comfortable and the terrace is big with a nice sea view. Grounds are well kept. Parking is in underground garage and the parking stall is close to the elevator making unloading and access quick and simple.
It is an easy 2 minute walk to the beach and 3-4 minutes to the Quarteira promenade. A small grocery store is also 3 minutes walk.
All in all a relaxing week at this property.

A fantastic stay
If you are considering staying in the Algarve then this is ideal, right next to the beach in a modern upscale apartment. The apartment is everything you could ask for and the pictures do not do it justice. The rooms are large and very clean, the air con is great. Blinds are great and the kitchen is fully equipped. The pool area was never overly busy with chairs always available. The beach is a 3 minute walk and with a fantastic sea breeze on the balcony. The only very minor issue was internet speed which I'm sure could be rectified if necessary. I would stay here again at the drop of a hat. Thanks for a wonderful stay. :-)

Beyond expectations!!!
Loved our stay at Cavalo Preto....Apartment was bright, clean, quiet and well located....On site manager was totally responsive to requests. Grounds and common area were kept clean and apt was was well equipped ...underground parking was a plus as well!! All good and hope to return.... Exceeded our expectations
We loved the location in quiet neighborhood with beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. It was enjoyable vacation, total rest what we desperately needed. Walking distance to an endless sand beach and several good restaurants made things easy and convenient. That includes a swimming pool and and underground garage. The apartment was with large living room and a kitchen with all appliances that we did not use much. We appreciate warm welcome and easy, straight communications with the owner and his agent. Excellent job!

Super schönes Appartement
Das Appartement ist sehr großzügig geschnitten, moderne Einrichtung. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Der Balkon ist sehr groß und man hat einen tollen Blick aufs Meer.
Die Lage fanden wir optimal...nur wenige Minuten zum Strand, auch sind viele Restaurants in der Nähe.
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

É dos apartamentos com melhor localização, e uma ótima varanda/vista, no entanto, e sendo já a minha 3a vez no cavalo preto tenho a dizer que me desiludiu um pouco: sofá roto, humidade nas paredes e numa casa de banho, televisão sem canais portugueses, internet muito muito fraca, varinha mágica não funcionava, etc. para o valor o apartamento deveria apresentar outras condições. O empreendimento estava bem tratado e limpo!

There are a few apartments on this complex available on Homeaway, but the owner of this apartment (number 302), does not charge for internet, provides towels for the swimming pool, and charged us half of what others we trying to charge for cots. He was also very quick to get back to us and extremely helpful.
The apartment has a large balcony and is situated on the upper floor in the middle of the complex. You are therefore able to keep an eye on your stuff at the pool if you pop in for lunch. The balcony is shaded in the morning and very sunny in the evening. The pool area is all in a good clean condition, and there was just about enough sun beds for everybody who wanted one. Although it did appear as if a few apartments were not occupied at the time.
Despite being on the edge of Quarteira, it is a few hundred metres from the closest beach as well as a few local restaurants. As you walk towards town the frequency of restaurants increases but we were never that impressed by any we tried. There is also a nearby supermarket for when you want to spend nights in. Because of it's location it is very quiet. This was great for us.
Overall we were very happy with the accommodation and the whole rental experience.

Petits déjeuners pris sur un très grand balcon avec vue sur la plage et la mer.
Agréables moment passés à la piscine.
Je ne regrette pas mon choix de location pour passer mes premières vacances au Portugal

Eine großzügig geschnittene sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung, die zwei Paaren genügend Raum für individuelles Wohnen bietet.Die Lage sowohl zum schönen ausgedehnten Sandstrand, dem noch recht typischen Ort Quarteira mit seiner guten Infrastruktur und den nahen Golfplätzen bietet reichlich Abwechselung für einen gelungenen Urlaub.Für weniger aktive Gäste bietet sich die große sehr wertig möblierte Terrasse mit Meerblick zum Verweilen an.Vor Ort ist bei Meldung gelegentlicher kleiner Probleme Andrej Nastase sofort zur Stelle, und alles ist geregelt.

Superb apartment in a great location!
The apartment is well furnished and with great views towards the beach and sea. A very spacious and clean property with easily sufficient room for four adults. Convenient for a stroll along the promenade with a host of bars and restaurants, most with reasonably priced and good quality food.
A very large balcony was ideal for some late afternoon sunbathing and a comfortable morning breakfast.
In addition the whole process was well organised by Tom, despite some Home Away hiccups, and the local agent Andrei was helpful and friendly.
Looking forward to returning in the future!

Quarteira ficou ainda mais apetecível depois da estadia neste apartamento. Todas as nossas refeições foram feitas na magnífica varanda, com uma vista excelente. Os adultos adoraram poder aproveitar os fins de dia a conviver na varanda e as crianças adoraram a piscina. Apartamento muito bom, bem localizado.
