Location was handy although up a steep hill which we were aware of so not a problem.
Ignorant host, totally ignored us on their own car park.
Self service food area not as described and not user friendly.
Awful creaking bed which had already been bought to the host’s attention previously apparently.
Pot holes on car park.

entry was easy, room was not what I would call de luxe - shower room was small and just adequate, room not very generous. Bread for toasting was in a jumble in the freezer, no sourdough as promised, some of what was there had been rummaged through by other guests and wasn't checked up on enough with staff but generally the kitchen area was well stocked for breakfast.
see above. Bed linen poor quality.

Excellent location, comfortable room. Great facilities, good water pressure in shower. 'Help yourself' breakfast provision very good and convenient. Friendly owners who provided a lot of helpful info ahead of our trip.

Lovely house in a great location. Close to all amenities including the beach. The room was perfect in a contemporary style. Good facilities provided in both our room and the breakfast room. We loved our stay and plan to return

The room was cosy & very well equipped. Plenty of choice for breakfast and I love that we had access to the kitchen at all times. Lovely comfortable bed and the owners were very friendly and helpful.
The en-suite was very compact , but ok for a short stay.

lovely B&B, good value for money, efficiently run by the owners on a self service basis!

Host provided very comprehensive e-mail in advance with details of restaurants and things to do in and around Lyme Regis.
Host was very pleasant.
Free off-road parking was available which I suspect is quite rare in Lyme Regis.
No cooked breakfast, but plenty of choice otherwise and access to the communal kitchen all day.
Nothing springs to mind

It was a very comfortable room with a sea view. Breakfast was "make your own" and a good selection was provided. I liked that there was access to a guest kitchen in the evening so you could have take-away food if you preferred. It was also very quiet but still quite close to the city centre
The mattress was too soft for me but this is an individual preference and not a criticism

Great location on a quiet street. Clean and comfortable room with a good selection of breakfast options. Owners sent lots of recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area! Check-in information sent prior to stay made the whole experience seamless.

Very cosy room. Great location for exploring Lyme Regis. And access to a kitchen stocked with a variety of breakfast goods made it very homely.

Breakfast was on a "make your own" basis. Plenty of eggs, bread, yoghurt, fruit, cereal, tea/coffee on offer.
Served breakfast.

It was a good location, short walk to the seafront. (You must be prepared for the hills, you can’t really get away from them in Lyme Regis), had its own parking (rare in Lyme Regis), room was comfortable with an accompanying mixture of goodies in the room and in the shared kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of heating if needed. view from room lovely in the morning seeing the mist off the sea. the shared kitchen had room to seat at the table or you could take food back to your room, lots of choice, and plenty to eat, you could even make a sandwich to take out with you. Met Ali and she said anything we wanted just ask.

Didn't have any breakfast but the kitchen was well equipped with plenty of food and drink. Very clean. Bed comfortable. Fantastic shower. Very quiet. Housekeeper was very ftiendly. Great that you could watch netflix too as an added bonus. Thanks for a great stay. Hosts were very friendly and responded to messages quickly.
The parking was a little bit of a pain. Not enough room on drive way and road was full so had to pay for car park.

We were down in Lyme Regis for a friends wedding and this was great for us, amazing location - less than 10 min walk down to the seafront, lovely room with sea view, super comfortable bed. All the little extras really gave it a nice touch i.e. mini fridge in room with a glass bottle for water and another for milk, plates bowls and cups in the room, mini coffee setup etc. They provided a map and an information sheet with all the things we could need to know, which was very helpful.
The only slight inconvenience is the Hill you need to walk up and down to get to and from the guest house to town and back, not great if you're in flip flops or have heavy bags haha

The location was fine
The information pack was very helpful. Thank you
The idea with way of collecting the key was good, if only it had worked easily. It took us many attempts
The bed was comfortable
The food provided was adequate if you didn't was anything cooked, and was very do-it-yourself
I think the accommodation was pretty poor for the price.
We have never stayed in this sort of accommodation where you have to do everything yourself, even to making your bed although the note say the room will be cleaned between certain hours.
In our bathroom the cold tap was running all the time, and this should have been picked up before we arrived
There was no place in the bathroom to put toiletries while we were washing, and the mirror was so low I could hardly see n it to shave
The shower was okay but there is hardly room to dry yourself
I am pleased that we read some information about turning off the fridge at night, as it was so noisy

Contacting the owner to say we could not come due to illness
We could not contact Booking.com as the owner requested - no apparent way of contacting by email and then telephone explains booking reference and Pin will be required. When you are not feeling at all well and have no memory of ever having a PIN for B.C you give up!
