Very clean throughout, and the interior design of the reception and lobby area is finished to a high standard. The hotel is modern, has a lift and a lovely pool. The whole staff team were wonderful, could not do enough for us, always warm and welcoming. Breakfast was very good with lots of varying choices every morning, and ran until 11am which was great for when you didn't want to jump out of bed. The hotel is ideally located for the beach and the local amenities.
The room was a tad small for a double, but perfectly adequate and had all the facilities you need, especially the air-conditioning. We were a bit disappointed that there are no pool facilities such as a snack bar.
8.0
The extreme kindness of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and the location 50-100 m from the beach. Swimming pool a bit small but perfect for children.
Just some minor points: the breakfast was just enough for a three star hotel and could be improved. Some problems with the furniture (the hinge of the fridge box door detached, not resolved despite the report), with the bedroom door (which at a certain point would no longer close, problem solved only after some insistence) or with the system conditioning (fixed immediately). Noisy bathroom vent.

It was very nice stay. Personnel was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and rather comfortable, with good air conditioning.
Beach with sand is in 2 mins walk, there you can rent 2 sunbeds and umbrella for 7 euro a day, which is very cheap.
Free parking is in the front of the hotel.
Breakfast is rather modest, but contains all basic components. Yogurt is amazing! :)
In the town there are a lot of good restaurants nearby the hotel.
I would recommend to rent a car to be able to travel to other sights of the island. However there are some travel agencies in town that can offer you trips.
Nothing :)

The room was modern, bright and spacious. The hotel itself and rooms were exceptionally clean.
The employees were all super friendly and helpful.
The swimming pool is small and I thought that it wouldn't be enough BUT because the hotel is so close to a beach it was more than enough and there was almost no one there when we used it. And even if it was small the swimming pool area and the swimming pool itself was very nice.
I loved the patio that was outside on the third floor. We had some drinks there, dinner and played cards and watched the sunset. I was surprised how little it was used as it was absolutely beautiful spot and nice to be in the morning and evenings.
Small friendly little town
It is a small town, I had read it but didn't realize how small :) It was fine for us as we enjoyed the piece and quiet and not as touristic as other places in Crete.
The breakfast buffet is very small and wasn't really filled much if you were late BUT it was enough to start the day and you could give your kids something to start the day.
The bathrooms need a little update.

Great location and staff

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice room, modest but comfortable enough. Good location, beautiful sea view, beach nearby. Free parking. A lot of restaurantes in short walking distance.
I would suggest to moove the trays with hot dishes for breakfast from the far and narrow corner to the front end of the buffet, it would considerably improve accessibility.

Absolutely amazing stay! Very friendly staff, everything was clean, location close to the beach and the city.

The beds were super comfy, and the hotel is within a stones throw of several beaches, and plenty of places to eat nearby !
The room smelt a bit smokey, had to keep the doors shut, as below on the ground floor seemed to be the smoking area !! The breakfast buffet was adequate,it felt a bit rushed ( bad fast tempo piano music ) if you are on a tight budget then great, otherwise you will get a nicer breakfast out of he hotel .

Very good location with a nice view to the sea from our room. Beds were surprisingly comfortable, not too soft.
Got the room next to elevator which was quite noisy and we were not able to relocate. Shower was poorly done, water was leaking next to shower wall and door, we had to wipe it continuously. Room was nothing like the pictures. Selection of breakfast was mediocre and not very tasty.

A fantastic hotel. The staff are so friendly. The location of the hotel is perfect. 2 minute to the beach. 2 minutes to the village. The hotel was really clean. We never had a problem getting a sunbed next to the pool. The breakfast was great. Good selection and the chef makes stuff to order.
Special shout out to the hotel manager Vasilis who could not have done more for me and my family. Top guy.
Nothing. It was great value and exceeded our expectations. Hopefully, we will return in the future.

Good location! Clean rooms and professional staff. Rooftop terrace has a nice sea view.
I just wish the space had a little more detail to the design or decoration. Just a bit more plants and colour or something to make it warmer.

Very nice and helpful staff. Nice hotel with smaller swimming pool. The room was ok and spacious. The bathroom was slightly dated but regularly cleaned. The location is very good close to the village center.
Noisy electrical transformer infront of the hotel (and our balcony).

The pictures don't reflect the reality and may seem that the hotel is on the beach, but it isn't. The rooms with sea view have the view in the parking of the hotel and you can see the trees that surround it. The staff is nice at arrival and after that they don't care about you that much. We asked for a room upgrade starting the second day but the manager said they were all booked, although on booking you could reserve others rooms for the period we wanted. The room maids don't speach english. The bed sheets are changed only if you demand it. The "double bed" are 2 twin beds. The balcony offer no privacy at all and as a fun fact, us being Romanians had our room next to other Romanians and Moldavians. The breakfast is the same every day and very poor (omelette, boiled eggs, 3 types of ham, orange juice, tomatoes, cucumber, fetta, tea, coffe, some bakeries, bread and 4 types of jam). Our room had leaks in the bathroom, always water on the floor. The door from the shower cabin was opening on the inside, very difficult to get in.

The most important thing I must mention is the hotel manager, Vasilis.
In this stay, I asked for a romantic dinner for two, as a surprise for my wife, to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
Vasilis organized this for us on the roof terrace, with a specially set table and a nice dinner, viewing over to the sunset.
We initially selected this hotel for our family stay in Crete because of its location - ~1 hour of driving from either Heraklion in the east of the island, and ~1 hour of driving from Chania in the west of the island.
There are a few nice restaurants nearby, along with a small local supermarket and a few gift shops.
Also, free parking lot for the hotel guests, right across the street.

This is a lovely small friendly hotel. We stay here often.
Breakfast get a little monotonous as virtually the same food every day, though there is a lot of it and the variety is good.

Great location, just on the beach. Nice and spacious apartment, very lovely surroundings. Nice and helpful staff.

It was clean and the room was big and nice. The nice terrace outside our room was a comfy place to spend the evenings.
The breakfast is ok but you don't have that much variety.

nice breakfast; convenient for the beach; near to the centre of the village but quiet
very like many other hotels - a bit impersonal though staff were very helpful

Great location in small picturesque village with nice beaches. Friendly staff.
The hotel is a Greek version of Travelodge -basic facilities and no character. Although our room was fairly clean the bathroom was smelly and the water didn’t drain properly. Wardrobe had some broken shelves and the safe didn’t work. Breakfast was disappointing too-dry omelette, sugary juices and instant coffee. I was relieved we only stayed there for 2 nights and unfortunately can’t recommend this hotel. There are better choices in the area within similar price range.

Clean comfortable. Nice pool area. Easy to walk everywhere

Very nice staff
Amazing cretian restaurant (kastro) nearby
Good value for money
Even though it has a sea nearby, the location is not that perfect as it’s actually in a village area of Rhetymno around 30 min away from the city where all the actions happen.

Stayed previously we like the place a lot
Disappointing no hot water either in the evening or this morning for a shower.

Great location, friendly and caring staff.
Extremly overpriced laundry service (about 35€ for a handful of t-shirts and undies). Somehow, there wasn’t a price list available in advance. When asked for the total price they told us it wouldn’t be much more than 10€…even though they were offering a small discount after my complaint it‘s been way too expensive. The WiFi was pretty weak most of the time, barely enough to use streaming clients or common services. Room wasn‘t similar to the one pictured. The category 'Sea view' in the ad was only a small balcony from which you could look at the sea from the sidewing but I wouldn’t describe it as direct sea view (see picture).
