Spacious flat, Very well equipped, extraordinary furniture and interieur
Sometimes noise during the night and especially between 6 and 7 in the morning because of the big garbage collecting station in front of the house, with garbage collection every morning

This is a Great choice if you spend couple of days in Uzes. The apartment is stylish and spacious and it has a Great location just next to old town center. Parking in Uzes is limited, so the owner is also offering a parking place in the nearby underground parking hall.

We’ve stayed here before so rate this having returned again. Superb location. Stayed two nights and didn’t use our car once parked as Uzes is easy to walk around. Apartment is clean and tidy and had fans in all rooms. Thoughtfully bottles of water were left in the fridge for our arrival. Host was absent but this caused no issues at all as met his representatives who were just as polite, kind and knowledgeable. Lovely to be close to the town and able to walk back within 10 minutes at the most.
All good.

I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
(For reference, we are a professional couple, in our sixties, who travel often, staying in a range of 5 star hotels to funky little B&Bs to out of the way AirBnBs, and we normally find enjoyment in all.)
Upon arrival, a pleasant man showed us our accommodations on the top floor. There were quite a few curved steps to get to the apartment, and as we entered we noticed that although spacious, it was rather dark and quirky. Again, this wasn’t as we expected, but we were fine. I was a bit concerned that the sheets were dark colored because it is hard to assess cleanliness, but again, we were fine. There were several fans, but no air conditioning, but again, that was okay. When the owner showed us how we’d have to unlock our apartment door and go out onto the landing to reach the toilet, I was most unhappy. This was uncomfortable to have to leave a locked accommodation at night to use the bathroom, and we would not have booked if we had known. After the owner left us, we realized there was no washer and dryer as advertised. This was most distressing because we wanted to immediately wash clothes. We also discovered that the advertised outdoor space was on the bottom of the house and looked to be part of the owner’s quarters, and we were not offered access, although it was advertised. I did immediately ask Booking.com if they were aware of the lack of washer/dryer, and they said we should have one within our apartment. We did not. Since we arrived rather late the first day and had plans out for a full day the next day, we decided to stay and make the most of it.
When the owner found out we contacted Booking.com, he stopped us as we were going to breakfast (after two nights there) and said, “I prefer you to leave NOW. You should not have contacted Booking.com.” (He told us HE had a washer and dryer and HE does any laundry that needs to be done. But that is not what is advertised and I would never give a stranger my laundry!).

This is a really lovely apartment and would highly recommend it. Location is excellent and close to all the sights and the very spacious interior is wonderfully furnished with many sculptures and other artefacts collected by the owner. There is also a well equipped kitchen. The owner lives on the floors below and is very charming and helpful. There is an underground multi-storey car park right beside the apartment for which you are given a (free) entry/exit card: if you park on the top floor (which is actually ground level), you can keep an eye on your car from the apartment! The dining area and one of the bedrooms face to the back with beautiful rooftop and rural views, the other (larger) bedroom and the sitting room face the historic old town. As mentioned by others, there are two flights of stairs to reach the apartment
Nothing not to like!

Owner was good with communication as our arrival time had to change. A fabulous location just 2 mins walk from town and cafes, restaurants and shops. Parking in secure parking across from apartment. Owner welcoming and explained where everything was and how things worked. Apartment is typically French decor which is just beautiful for the type of building. Apartment was in top floor so if walking or climbing stairs is an issue then find another place rather come here and then complain. We loved it, the space was big and we had everything we needed although only here for a night. Immaculately clean with hand sanitiser and masks in apartment. Owner wore masks on greeting as we did and any Covid regulations adhered to. We had lovely meal in town just a short walk away with a good variety of restaurants to choose from. We chose not to eat in the apartment but facilities were good had we chosen too. Nice to have bottled water provided on arrival too as it was a very hot day. We are sure we will stay here again.
Nothing.

Everything. It was all we expected. Plus some. The location was superb and Phillipe was the host with the most, helpful attitude.
Nothing. The rubbish bins out front could be a turn off to some but were not a problem as someone kept the area clean all the time.
