The young front of house man who greeted us and served us dinner was very kind and exceptionally helpful.
A real asset to the hotel. Made us feel welcomed and at home. A genuine person!
We ate in the restaurant. Exceptionally good food very authentic and freshly cooked. The chef really knows what they’re doing. Lovely sea views.
No water glasses in the room that’s about all!

The food in the restaurant was delicious, lovely view too.
Small room.

The sea view was amazing, room was big, towels really nice
It’s being renovated, really tired furnishings, windows not clean, no shower gel or conditioner, basic tea tray - especially for room only rate, poor lighting, poor plug sockets, odd wallpaper/curtains/bedding. Work going on in property soon after 6am - which was quiet painting. Skip in car park, poor lighting to get too our room. Not value for what we paid at all.

We loved view from our window on pier. Lovely personal, very helpful. We also enjoyed the bar.

Very welcoming with a great view
I love it all

Lovely views from outside and the breakfast area but not from our room. Room was clean. Nice bathroom. Good breakfast although a bit greasy. Not too far from the university open day we had come for
We were at the very top of the annexe so up many stairs - luckily we are fit but would have been too much for navy especially if staying for longer with suitcases. No view from the window as a velux. Beds quite firm. Not enough parking - only a few spaces and we were told to park in the pier car park (£20 overnight) or on a side street (mostly double yellows, narrow street, lots of litter therefore seagulls so my car was a mess in a few hours).

Staff attentive and welcoming. Food lovely with vegetarian options. The view from room 16 of the estuary was wonderful. Room was lovely and clean. Able to bring our dog too.
Note there are some steep steps up to the hotel so may be difficult for those with mobility issues.

Second stay and the staff were again welcoming and supportive of our needs. Vegetarian food option available which was lovely. Great location near Bangor pier and estuary. Room and property lovely and clean
Sadly the double glazing in room 15 is shot so the Wonderful sea view was obscured by moisture retained within the window. Please replace - its the view that makes this room.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Superb location close to the sea. Comfy bed (Large for me as a solo traveler!)
Had to sleep with earplugs as the vent from the kitchen was very noisy and right in front of the room's window. And the earplugs couldn't protect from the kitchen odours.
Also, what I reckoned must have been the room's own ventilation was quite noisy at times.

Room was more than adequate with a view over the pier and the sea beyond.

The location and the food
The steps and stairs to the annex. The annex is in need of a little TLC

Everything was perfect from the view, the lovely friendly staff to the wonderfully delicious dinner we ate at the restaurant. We couldn’t fault a thing 😁

Cleanliness was good, location was pleasant and views stunning.
The room was very cold and the lone, radiator which was off when I arrived was inadequately small for the size of the room never brought it up to an acceptable temperature even when turned to maximum. It also switched off overnight so as to add to the problem. The fleece was too thin so I was cold even when in bed and unable to do anything about it. Also the room was very tired and in need of some minor repairs, despite being a double room there was only one chair and no desk or table to write or use a laptop.

Excellent view and double twin beds.
Just decor a bit dated and heating was slow to warm.
But soon was warm enough. Lots of steps.

Rooms were comfortable and clean. Conveniently located for purpose of our visit. Fantastic location over looking the sea. Good to have evening meal choice.
Parking. Only about 8 spaces so only got one of you were lucky (thankfully we were). We arrived at 4pm for check in but no one there to check us into our room until almost 5pm with little in the way of apology. Ordered evening meal in restaurant, food was nice but cold by time condiments arrived and steak knife was found.
