Great stay, accommodation, breakfast and staff.

Breakfast was good and location was close to the lakes. We had hoped to be able to walk there but no track available along the road so we drove. The accommodation was great except going up the stairs with our suit cases. Otherwise all good and would recommend it.

Lovely stay close to Plitvice Lakes entries

The location is close to the entries to Plitvice Lakes which was handy. The breakfast options were plentiful and tasty and the room very comfortable. Access to car parking onsite. Not far from places to have dinner, we walked to a pizza place down the road.

No negatives.

Perfect Guesthouse op 5 min rijden van de Plitvice meren.

Mooie locatie op 5 min rijden naar parkeerplaats 2 en 25 minuten lopen van ingang 2 van het Plitvice nationaal park. Vanaf parkeerplaats 2 is ook bijna 15 minuten tot de ingang dus beter van je kamer lekker gaan lopen. Host is jong stel en super vriendelijk. Zij doen alles om het je naar je zin te maken en nemen tips met open armen aan. Je kunt in het restaurant onbeperkt koffie en thee drinken. Kortom, als we weer gaan, gaan we hierheen.

Eigenlijk niets. Kamers zijn wel wat gehorig wanneer de deuren van de andere kamers open en dicht gaan. Maar ligt vooral aan de soort gasten 😉

Me and my wife we were completely satisfied with our experience in the Golden Lake rooms. The breakfast was tremendous, variety of delicious food. The beds were extremely comfortable. Also, we wanted to give a special thanks to the staff, they were extremely nice and helpful with giving us advice on locations near the facility and in Plitvice and also making us feel at home from the first moment we arrived

We got moved a few weeks before our trip from Golden Lakes to Grand Lakes due to it being low season. This review is for Grand Lakes Rooms. Friendly staff, beautiful room, nice view and good location.

Breakfast was ok. Dinner was a big disappointment. Limited items available. Had soup for starter, tasted like soup out of a can. The 3 Meat Goulash, was the worst and most expensive meal of our entire trip through Croatia. Not the only people complaining about dinner that evening. Also no credit card facilities available at this property. Payment for accommodation is also either cash or International Transfer.

The breakfast was amazing ! Delicious local products. The employee manage well to help us with luguage and transport to the Plitvice Park. We had a lift to the park and the guy help us to transport our luguage to the park deposit. Greatly appreciated !

The staff was really nice and helpful. She maked you eggs in the morning and there was tea/coffee automat you could freely use.

We thought there was a restaurant inside this place, but it was another of their places nearby you had to go to by car.

When arriving we were greeted by a host/receptionist who gave us a map with tips on how to complete the national park tour. It turned out though that it was pretty much the way everybody did it (basically you can either do round one way or the other). After that we were told that our room was not in the Golden Lakes building at all, but a couple of minutes car ride away. Not a problem otherwise, but no receptionist on site if you need to ask something and that meant driving for dinner since the other facility does not provide anything but breakfast. So that also meant not being able to have wine with dinner. Also not a big problem, but would be nice to have a glass of wine with dinner or a cold beer after the hike, but here (in the other premises than the main building) it's not possible if you want to obey the law and not drink and drive. And the dinner then... While checking in we were told that we had to reserve a table for dinner and so we did. In this area you won't find restaurants in walking distance and guests tend to dine in their accommodations. We booked dinner for 8 PM and were there on time, but no tables were available. So the waitress put together a table in the middle of the reception lobby (right next to the restaurant area though, but still not what one might want.) Considering there is basically no competition the guesthouses can charge big money for dinner but if you pay 30€ for a meal it would be decent for it not to be over cooked piece of salmon and cold potatoes and cold grilled vegetables. We told this to the waitress who seemed to give feedback to the kitchen (being seated in the lobby near the open kitchen door we were able to hear this), but no compensations was offered. Good to keep in mind that here you can't pay anything with a card, so take enough cash with you. Prices are in Euros but were converted to Kunas if you wished to pay that way.

Very nice, clean and quiet location, 3 minutes by car from the Plitvice Lakes entrance no 2. Very friendly staff, they did everything to make us feel like home! I would definitely recommend it!

Comfortable, accommodating stay! Amazing staff.

Rooms, location, food, amenities were amazing. The main highlight to this hotel is the hospitality of the staff. They went out of their way to be kind and extremely helpful. This was a great experience for us and we definitely plan to visit again! A quiet place to get away from crowds and a beautiful view from your rooms. Would recommend to everyone visiting Plitvice.

There is literally nothing not to like at this place! No doubt, an amazing decision to stay here.
