The apartment was damp and smelt. No hairdryer. Only stayed one night. Had to move out. Rang Vrbo and instead of dealing with it you told me to ring the owner. I paid Vrbo. My contract was with Vrbo. NEVER AGAIN. I expect 5 days refunded.

Perfectly situated to take advantage of the Atlantic breezes and avoiding the intensity of the summer sun, this top floor apartment in this lovely resort community fit our family's needs.
Our host was very responsive, and the apartment was well appointed with very firm mattresses and enough living room seating for 4, plus dining area seating for 6.
The upper loft area was a curiosity, but not truly functional as the narrow spiral staircase was not easy to use.
Washcloths and additional towels for the beach/pool would have been helpful.
Don't expect the dryer program to work on the clothes washer/dryer, but the summer sun and the drying rack was adequate compensation.

Spacious place - great Management
We had a great stay in the wonderful appartment. Big kudos to Ana, who welcomed us, gave us a great introduction and many good tips for the area and helped us with questions. The place is very spacious and well equipped. Only challenge we had are the beds, which are a little on the hard side - but Ana provided a Topper which very much improved the situation.
Beach is wonderful to walk along and watch the marvelous cliffs. As mentioned by others area can have lower temps then surrounding area due to cloud cover in summer.. Bring light coat for evening dinners outside.Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Lovely sea view apartment
We were met at the property by the owner and shown around. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable, with lovely views. The outside photos on the website don't really do it justice. The resort is very well kept and a good location for visiting Óbidos and Alcobaça, which was stunning. The beach is just 10 minutes walk away and is beautiful, but usually not suitable for swimming. I had only one query for the owner, and she responded immediately. I would recommend this apartment for a relaxing seaside holiday.

L'appartement est spacieux et confortable (très bien équipé), avec une vue magnifique sur l'océan qui est à deux pas. La région est magnifique, particulièrement le lagon d'Obidos. Nous avons pu visiter Lisbone et Sintra qui sont à une heure de route. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Endroit parfait. Nous avons passé 2 semaine , et nous etions tous très contents de lappartement, du cadre ,des plages des vagues a surf, du soleil,de la piscine.... Personnels (jardiniers,femmes de ménage..)très sympathique et compétent

Stunning location and a fantastic stay...
We had a wonderful stay in this very spacious and well presented apartment.
The location was perfect for us as a base to explore the local area as well as further north along the coast to enjoy the many beautiful towns and lagoons on route.
The proximity to Lisbon also worked really well for us and we also found an easily drivable track from the within the golf course, cross-country to the swimming beach in the next town.
There were lots of helpful suggestions for places to visit and dine and we were greeted by a very friendly welcome and orientation on arrival.
Many thanks Carol - we absolutely intend to make a return trip!

Apartamento muito bom. Condominio muito agradavel
Uma semana passada neste apartamento que é fantástico e que está inserido num condomínio muito agradável.
O apartamento limpo, muitíssimo bem equipado com tudo o que é necessário e bastante espaçoso.
Situado numa zona tranquila, de fácil acesso a vários pontos de visita e a uns metros da praia.
O condomínio também muito arranjado e limpo, com jardins bem tratados e uma piscina muito boa e um parque infantil.
Um agradecimento à sua proprietária, pela forma simpática com que tratou de tudo. Parabéns pelo fantástico apartamento.

Great apartment and resort
Our second visit to Praia del Rey, October is a good time to visit. This is a great apartment with 3 excellent bedrooms, two good size bathrooms and an excellent kitchen. Views towards the sea and 10th fairway of one of the best golf courses in Portugal. Good space in he apartment and good furnishings. Shop in the resort and a vegetable seller near the entrance. The club house and the hotel all provide good food and drink. Very convenient for exploring Portugal and relaxing with golf, tennis and swimming. Well worth a visit!

Great place to stay
We have never rented such a comfortable and roomy place before. The flat is very spacious and nicely furnished, from the kitchen and living room you have an excellent view of the sea. Cleaning and change of towels is provided without any extra fees.
10 Minute walk to the sea with beautiful beach. The pool is fantastic. As the sea can be dangerous (not only for children) and really cold (we used wet suits in the middle of July) we were happy to have the big pool. You definitely need a car because the shops and supermarket are 20-25 minutes away from the place. We also enjoyed going to Lisbon (one hour drive) and Porto (a bit more than two hours) as well as going to places like Santarem (inland) or visiting convents like Batalha, Alcobaca, Tomar. Nazaré is also well worth a visit with excellent and cheap fish restaurants.

Relaxing place to stay....
Very spacious, comfortable and well appointed apartment. The resort did appear to be exceptionally quiet and the majority of the time the Pool might have well been private as there was no-one to share it with.
The Atlantic Coast is beautiful and easily accessible - the resort does only have one shop - which you should only use if you need to buy bread and milk as it is very expensive. Top tip - a woman just outside the resort sells fruit and veg - not sure she grows it however she has a table and you can buy stuff on a daily basis. A car is definitely needed if you wish to get out and about - there is plenty to see and do and the beaches are empty and just the most beautiful I have ever seen. I don't play golf however the surfing is excellent - if you have not done it before book a lesson and get taught how to do then just turn up and hire as it is very cheap.
Lisbon is an easy day trip and seems to be a marmite city - you either love it or hate it - if you need to get around the city park up somewhere and take taxis - they are exceptionally cheap especially if you have a family of 4 - 7 Euros from Torre Del Bellem to City Centre.
Visit Peniche for the Supermarket - as this is the best place to get food.
Overall this apartment was just what we were looking for and definitely exceeded our expectations and have already thought about returning to use the excellent tennis facilities and to also do some more surfing.

Really good place to stay
Light and bright ideal apartment to stay in. We have stayed twice and it is very quiet and secure - ideal location to explore the coast or play golf. Always very clean and tidy and it is well equipped.

Das Appartement ist sehr schön und hat einen herrlichen Ausblick auf den Atlantik. Das Wetter war ein bißchen wie an der deutschen Nordseeküste.
Die Landschaft ist herrlich und die Menschen sehr freundlich.
Die nächsten Restaurants sind in Serra del Rey, ca. 6 km entfernt. Ein Auto ist unbedingt erforderlich.

June 2011 - fabulous accommodation
This accommodation is just as described. It is very spacious and had everything we could have possibly needed and more to make our holiday complete. A few minutes walk from the club house and 5 minutes walk from an amazing beach.. Also lovely views from the balcony to the gardens below.
Excellent location for visiting Obidos, Peniche and the surrounding area. We found plenty of lovely restaurants nearby too.
I would definately stay again and would recommend to anyone.

A golfers paradise
We have just returned from the perfect golfing venue on the Silver Coast in Portugal. The top floor apartment is situated just 250 metres from the Club House of the Praia del Rey Golf Course. The course is first class with many holes played along the dramatic coastline, we had wonderful weather and thoroughly enjoyed our week. The apartment is spacious and well equipped, having all the essentials for a comfortable and relaxing stay. There are views of the golf course and the sea beyond. Many local restaurants are situated nearby and the ancient City of Obidos is well worth a visit. The short trip to the resort of Peniche is a must with fish restaurants in abundance, if you prefer fine beaches head to Baleal for a surf or swim, perfect for children and grownups alike! All in all we had an excellent stay and the apartment is within easy reach of Lisbon and many other historic places of interest. Definitely the perfect place for the keen golfer.

I just been there with my family, this is a dream place , so beautuful and the apartment is just fantastic , perfectly mantained and finely decorated.
we had a nice whether to complete a perfect stay, I will recommend this place with no reserve anytime. We were received by the owner representant who gave us the keys and all information about the area business and atractions . There is a golf club just arround the corner and a beautiful beach 3 blocks away .We did our shopping in Peniche which has a big supermarket with fresh fish and take away food .
This is an ideal place to relax,read,play golf or just walk on the beach.

A wonderful Holiday
The apartment was beautiful, clean and spacious and had everything in it that we needed for a perfect holiday. We spent two weeks at this apartment in Prai del ray which was perfectly located for sightseeing both North and South of Peniche.
We did a trip up to Tomar, it is so beautiful and would recommend it to all your visitors, we decided to leave early in the morning and head for Tomar first and then stop in Fatima and Batalha on the way back. Also did trips to Alcobaca, Peniche, Obidos, Sintra, Mafra, Caldas da Rainha. Should we ever venture back this way, we will definitely use this apartment again.
The owners also went out of their way to ensure that we were clear about all the facilities. A very informative book about places to visit is kept in the apartment.
My daughter loved the swimming pool and could not keep her away, plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area, however you would definitely need a car.

Hot in Portugal
We had an excellent time, especially the golf. Temperatures were high which made the beach expeience very satisfying. Good local restaurants mostly serving beuatifull grilled fresh fish. We have been to Praia del Rey on several occasions and this appartment is our accomodation of choice. Very well appointed with plenty of room. The location within Aldeia Lusitana is extremely well placed. Recomended for golfers and non-golfers.

Four Happy Golfers - so good we've been twice
Hard to fault this apartment in all respects - so much so that we have been back for more.
Praia del Rey Golf Course is excellent and this apartment is ideally located a 2 minute stroll in your golf shoes from the Clubhouse.
The apartment is spacious, and well furnished with great views and close to a large communal pool, which we pretty much had to ourselves.
There is shop close by, as is the Marriott Hotel whose spa facilities we used a few times.
Praia Del Rey resort is an easy 45 minute drive from Lisbon airport which makes the trip quite straightforward.
And there are towns close by if you fancy a break from the resort with restaurants that provide an authentic Portuguese dining experience. We found the owner's recommendations very helpful on this front.
