This property goes above and beyond our expectations. The view of the river was beautiful, a very quiet location. Everything for indoor / outdoor living was there. The extras supplied in the kitchen was nice to see and Tissues throughout the house. For us our only downfall was the stairs as we were elderly and found them difficult but we managed. The house is very spacious and the master bedroom has a lovely ensuite. The other bathroom needs a bit of TLC. We spent most of our time in the family area with the lovely wood burner which is very effective, nothing like a fire! As suggested by another person the single mattresses could be updated. The reason for our three stars is that we didn't find the house to be very clean - surface things were done but we think that the house could really do with a deep clean. We are surprised that other people have found the house to be very clean. Also, after we paid up and the cancellation date had passed, we were told that there were some areas of the outside that we were not able to go to as repairs were being done to fencing (not really a problem but would have been nice to know) and we were given a list of dos and don'ts with stated monetary consequences if the "don't" occurred. We have never experienced that before with any stay and this made us a bit more anxious about staying in the house. All in all a great place to stay and explore the surrounding area.

Beautiful outlook from the rear balcony. Home was clean, roomy, comfortable and satisfied all our requirements. Well priced for what the home offers. Gave 3 stars only for check in process because previous tenant had not left the key in the location where we were advised to collect from and the owner and cleaner were not aware of this. Suggest the owner or cleaner check the location of the key after each occupancy . Would stay at the property again.

The property was large and comfortable. It had most of what would be expected for the price. Access to the Murray River is excellent and the gardens are welcoming. It would benefit from an upgrade to the family bathroom although the ensuite room is very well done. Perhaps the mattresses in the single bed rooms could do with an upgrade too? Overall a very pleasant stay in a quiet area, nice neighbours, lovely healthy river. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean, all the amenities for cooking and laundry. Plenty of room for watching tv or quiet time Great outdoor area for bbq or just watch the river traffic. Close to the hotel for a lovely meal..

Awesome location right on the river. There was easy access to the river for kayaks and fishing off the jetty. The house was a good size for our group of 7 with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large outdoor covered area and a massive back yard. It was a short walk to the Ravenswood Hotel and deli and a short drive to Pinjarra or Austin Lakes for shopping. The only thing that was lacking was the hot water in the showers - it was overcast for our stay and we only had enough hot water for 1 person for a 10 minute shower each day - not sufficient for our group of 7 people.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with the quiet river and jetty in the backyard, rope swing for the kids and Mandurah only 15 minutes away. The fireplace was lovely at night and everything ele was provided for.

A lovely clean big space in house with everything you need with a great outlook on backyard going down to river and jetty where kids fished for brim. Close walk to local shop chemist and tavern. Will def stay again when in the area .

What a fabulous holiday our family (inc Lola our dog) had at The Ravenswood Retreat. The house is large, spacious and well equipped with everything you'll need of your holiday and more! We spent many hours relaxing on the jetty fishing and watching the world go by - and it was wonderful to have our boat right there to jump on for a ride up or down the river. Thanks for letting us stay in your holiday home Meredith. It was exactly what we needed :-)

A well equipped house with everything you need, located at a very peaceful spot. What set this place apart from the other canal homes is the size of the property with lots of nature and very quiet. Meredith, the owner is great with her communication. A memorable weekend away for us. Thank you.

Lovely spot by the river we really enjoyed it the kids did not love no wifi but it got them doing other things. Saw dolphins about 1- 2 pm just by jetty.

Fantastic property in Ravenswood only an hour from Perth. Home is well equipped and spacious, easy care with tiled floors. Back garden running down to private jetty on Murray River is magic, kids had a great time playing on water. Lovely next door neighbours. Watch out for a few hoons on the water if you or kids are out on watercraft. Extremely relaxing and refreshing holiday after a very busy year, would definitely recommend.

Lovely house. Very roomy and very comfy. Plenty of firewood to keep us warm. Location was wonderful. Plenty of parking for our cars. Lovely lawns down to jetty, river is beautiful. Would thoroughly recommend. Check the fees though, got charged for “extra person”? And other incidentals?

The house was exactly as described in the Stayz App. and all instructions were easy to follow. The long lawn leading down to the river was beautiful and we sat by the river reading, fishing and taking photos very comfortably. It was peaceful and just a nice short drive from Perth - really accessible from the Freeway.

We really enjoyed our week in this house. It was clean and spacious with an amazing location right on the river in Ravenswood. We took some kayaks and spent lots of time kayaking up and down the river. With teenage children and the need to do some work ourselves, the lack of wifi was a problem. We ended up spending quite a lot on mobile data which pushed up the cost of staying in the house. Overall, it was a great house and location and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you
