Very well done . Find those ducks !!! Have to go to find out?

Lovely and cozy!
I would have liked the back seating area to have uncovered furniture and a few flowers. Also a dead bolt on back door to garden so as not to deal with the key lock

Coffee, tea, milk, bread, butter and eggs provided and we cooked ourselves.
Lovely welcome basket with Prosecco grapes and snacks - unexpected
A stand up shower

As a lone traveller the host were so welcoming, made it clear if I needed anything just to knock.
It was a real home from home

Really thoughtful touches, attention to detail. Nice welcome treats including for our furry friend.
Quality bathroom fittings, comfy big bed, cosy living area, small kitchen area but equipped with everything you need. Nice and warm with bonus of a little log burner. Off road parking directly outside.
Not much really. It's small but as described and perfectly comfortable for a couple to enjoy a short break.

Loved it all!
Perhaps a motion light above the lock box to see better at night

A cute little cottage, ingeniously and beautifully designed, full of nostalgic artefacts, like stepping back in time, and yet equipped with every modern device. The old door, the ancient typewriter, the antique telephone, the four poster bed, the large bath, the hand carved mice hidden in all sorts of unexpected places, the vintage photos, the taxidermy butterfly, the pebbles with messages on, the secluded outdoor area, the safe parking space, the generous hamper with a welcome bottle of Prosecco, all this and more, made our stay a delight.

The decor is quirky and pretty cool, it was a nice atmosphere to relax in at night. The bath is by far the best thing about the property for me - I could have stayed in it the whole time we were there!! The hampers were a really lovely touch - especially the doggy hamper and the prosecco for us. Being so close to both the beach and the local amenities were a huge plus also.
I didn't like that the back patio was only accessible from the bedroom - especially when trying to keep a sandy golden retriever off the bed, but it wasn't the end of the world!

Hosts have gone to a lot of trouble creating a lovely interesting place to stay
Parking spot right outside
Walking distance to local shops restaurants and pub
Quite location
Would stay again
There is a bath but no shower
The bathroom was a bit dark as one of the light bulbs was blown plus two more one in the bedroom center light and one of the kitchen high level spot lights

Very well equipped. Welcome pack of really useful items after a long journey, eggs, bread, prosecco, milk, butter, fruit, biscuits.

It was just as described, cosy, well furnished and decorated with a lovely little outside space . There was a great welcome back and the kitchen was fully equipped.
One minor issue was that we struggled with the old fashioned door key

It was cute & quirky, lots of nice finishing touches, original soft furnishings. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the welcome hamper with fruit, Prosecco & crisps!
No proper shower (the stand alone bath was lovely & in keeping with the cottage style but not very practical). An older person might have difficulty climbing over the side. It was tricky negotiating the shower head provided without getting water everywhere.

Beautifully decked out property 👌 great location to explore east Sussex and all its delights. Great welcome pack for us and the dogs.
I'm probably being a bit picky but the courtyard area could have done with a power wash and tidy and the toilet seat needs fixing as each time you sat on it ,it went skewwith. That said we would absolutely stay here again without any hesitation. Definitely a 9 out of 10.Would have been a 10 but for the above mentioned.

Everything was clean tidy and so much was supplied to make our stay comfortable and restful., Had so much fun searching for the little wooden mice got 11 out of 13 that we know of,.Lovely area, lots to see and do , good bus service if like us you don't drive., Lovely little village with all you'd need and a nice pub, and restaurants .
Nothing, it was all wonderful. The area was great, Couldn't fault any of it.

The owners were very welcoming, we received a hamper of goodies on our arrival which was a very pleasant surprise, although the property was attached to the owners home we did not hear any noise, the bed was very comfortable and the property was clean and had everything we needed for a 3 day break with our dog. would definitely return to this property
found shampooing my hair in the bath with the shower head a bit awkward but the free standing bath itself was great

The cottage had a nice decor throughout with a lovely comfy bed. The hampers left for ourselves and our dog were very generous and much appreciated.
Nothing we could really think of.

Dippy Cottage felt homely from the moment I unlocked the front door.
I loved everything about Dippy Cottage, it just added to my Bexhill experience

This was our second stay at Dippy Cottage. As we had been before, we knew where to collect the key, let ourselves in to the property and felt 'at home' immediately. Jo left a welcome hamper for us and our dog, which is such a lovely touch and much appreciated after a long drive. We didn't see Jo during our visit - Jo knew we had stayed before and we know she is just next door if we need her. The cottage has off street parking, is a short walk to the village shops and slightly longer walk to the beach. Comfortable accommodation with everything you need in a great location.

it was clean and unique and had parking, it was within walking distance of the Tesco and the beach.
we loved it!.
we couldn’t find all the wooden mice😀

The proprietor gave us a very friendly welcome. Dippy Cottage is small but perfectly formed. Warm, comfortable and everything has been thought of, particularly in the kitchen. The bathroom is special, and we slept very well in the fabulous four poster bed. Our dog settled immediately and appreciated the treats in his own welcome basket. We enjoyed ours too!
We've recently moved from Hastings to Wales, so this will be a terrific base to use when we visit friends and family here. 10/10 all around! :)

The log fire in the evening is the bonus staying in this lovely cottage. We are returning customers. We are also grateful for the welcome hamper that awaits you on arrival. Car parking right at front door.

Use of key to get into property, bit tricky, television connection not good,

Dippy Cottage looks small from the outside but like the Tardis, has plenty of space inside. A very comfortable place.

Jo was very welcoming, including putting together a hamper of lovely bits and pieces (fresh bread, a bottle of fizz etc). The cottage itself is cosy and comfy, with really great private outside space - we had a lovely stay.
4.5
The hamper that was left for us gave us a good base for breakfast and was much appreciated. Thank You. Accommodation was faultless and felt so much at home. Nothing was too much trouble for Jo. We like the area and have found a really good base to use on future trips. Village shops within walking distance with everything that you could want.
The only thing that was awkward was the fact there was no shower, but then we were only there for a few nights so we could get by and it wouldn't stop us from returning.
4.5
Beautifully appointed little cottage with many homely features. We particularly liked the desk with the period items, including a 1910 Baedeker. The kitchen appliances were very modern and efficient. We also liked the little courtyard at the back whcih was quite a suntrap. We thought the welcome box was a very generous gesture.
The one disadvantage was the depth of the very nice bath. A handle on the wall would help older guests climb out more easily.
