Very well possibly the best place in Puerto Lopez

A wonderful, spacious room, with a clean bathroom with hot water on a perfect location. For the beach you just have to cross the road, and it's only a 5 minute walk to the center. Everything looked great, including the inner garden. Staff helpful and friendly. I would have loved to be able to stay longer.

A good place to spend a night if you’re on the road

The location is perfect especially if you’re there for the whale watching activity. People are nice and there are dogs everywhere

It wasn’t exceptionally clean. The rooms are minimalistic. No one speaks English.

It was convenient to have the restaurant in the hotel for meals, drinks, and snacks. While the hotel is on the far end of the beach, I appreciated that it was quiet yet still only a short walk from the beach restaurants and active nightlife.

Good location near the beach, nice ambient in the hotel.

Almost nobody speaks English. The room was not very private since there were windows through anybody could look in. Aircondition did not work. Nobody was able to help me in situation when i need early morning taxi on bus terminal. Too noisy place in the evening. The insects, ants, moscitos could freely go into the room.

I think this might be the best place to stay in Puerto Lopez!

We loved our ocean view room with balcony. Prior to our upgrade, we were in a very noisy garden view room where the rooster crowed until sun up! Loved the bar and the staff !

Water for shower was lukewarm- never hot .

The breakfast was very good and the staff was very helpful. They allowed us to check in a bit early and also helped arrange a cab for us to get to our next destination.

The picture of the room I selected had a TV but our room did not have one.

I wanted to like it.

The staff was very kind.

Very loud at night. Unable to sleep well with the noise. Music, pool table. Breakfast wasn't included as I understood it was. Very basic room.

the hotel is beautiful and in a perfect location. the breakfast was good and the staff friendly and helpful.

the internet was a bit flakey in that it would disappear for a bit now and then and was a bit slow. the water took time to warm in the shower and it only got warm not hot.

Comfortable stay and good sleep

Quiet location, so good sleep, but still easily walkable area. Nice staff who provided advice on day trips we planned. Good breakfast included (fruit, eggs, bread, juice, coffee/tea). Hot water. AC. Delightful hotel dogs. Hammocks on balconies.

US ownership: prefer to stay in locally, Ecuadorean-owned establishments, but many of the places with more amenities like this one are foreign-owned

A wonderful place!

Very kind staff who were attentive to our requests, despite language barriers. The food is mostly comparable in price to the rest of the places in town and much higher in quality, although with a slightly shorter menu. Victor was very accommodating and helpful. it was fairly quiet considering it is on a road and the main shared areas were superb! We enjoyed our stay so much we canceled our other plans and stayed another night! We would definitely stay again!

Room & view was great but no TV in our room

We wanted to have a drink at our bar but they had nothing- no Club beer and no tequila. Very bad for a hotel bar. When we were there a few years ago everything was much better. Are there new owners?

Excellent, will definitely return!

The breakfasts were excellent as were other meals we had there. Great cooks and a varied menu! Excellent location, right in front of the beach, oceanfront rooms with a goodsized balcony.

Sometimes could hear dogs barking. No fault of the hotel and it wasn't a lot.
