Exceptional

I came back and stayed again. It is sad leaving Griya yunika and Yogyakarta. The people you see on the street don't have much as in materialism but looking into there eyes you see much happiness and a big smile.You get to see a side of life that is still very traditional right outside the front door and still walking distance to Taman sari, the palace and the moliaboro shops. Bella and the staff are very helpfull

lovely Facade overall. Garden and pool are was nice and old style Javanese decore all around.

Very comfortable

Lovely pool and garden area, and the included breakfast was delicious. Very secure entrance, wifi in the room worked well. Standard clean and comfy modest room.

Just be mindful there are mini-bats swooping down to get a little drink from the pool in the evening. We thought it was fun but you might not! Like other hotels in Jogja city it is very close to many mosques, so the morning prayer is very loud. Bring earplugs if that will bother you :)

Value for money was not satifactory.

The location was convienient. The staff was polite.

There were not enough working sockets in the room. The room wasn't clean enough. Hot water was running out after a short while. The staff wasn't always responsive enough to the additional requests (queries sent via booking.com etc).

Nice stay m, exceptional staff

Included breakfast is very good. Staff very nice and helpful. Bella introduced us to the important food delivery and taxi apps in Indonesia. Pool is nice, our son enjoyed it a lot. Would book again.

You always have to order a taxi to check out some of the sights (Malioboro, etc). Rather few restaurants in the immediate area. Our rooms only window was to the hallway. My father in laws room was a bit damp. But all in all no problem for us.

Highly recommend this place, a real home from home with warm, friendly and professional staff - we will definitely stay

Warm welcome on arrival from Bella. Very homely feel. Very spacious room , balcony and en-suite. Tea, Coffee and Water in the room. Breakfast was pre-ordered the night before, which meant an efficient service in the morning. - and the food was absolutely delicious. Beautiful pool area and pond with fish. Nothing was too much trouble, Bella advised us on where to go for activities & food and assisted in ordering taxis.

Exceptional

We loved our stay here, the rooms are spacious, beds are comfy, the bathroom nice with facilities working well. The pool is a lovely area for relaxing. Breakfast has a few choices and cooked to order. The staff were fabulous, attentive and so helpful making our stay wonderful and the reason we extended our stay here.

Very quiet and peaceful central location

Big room and confi bead. Perfect location to explore Jogjakarta, only 20 minutes walk to the center and the Kraton palace. The mosque is only to be heard once a day around 6 p.m. for one hour, so not disturbing very much. Bella from the service team was so helpful and supported us to order a Grab taxi for a good price. She also recommended a tour agency for Borobodur and a local restaurant that was sooo yummy and cheap. So don't hesitate to ask. Wi-Fi is working well, same in the room as in the restaurant, if you need to work. Super nice breakfast with pancakes or Nasi Goreng, omelette and fresh fruits.

The kitchen which can also be used by guests might be cleaner. But it's also up to the guests to keep it clean themselves.

Very nice stay

I found Griya Yunika very last minutes when I needed a family room. Booked the room early morning and checked with Ms.Martha, the owner, whether I can check in the room immediately. She was very welcome and approachable. As well as the staffs. The house is warmth and hommy. My family were happy staying there. It's value for money. With such price, can get a spacious family room with breakfast. The house has a swimming pool and fish pond. Another thing we like. Griya Yunika has a rooftop cafe. We spent our afternoon sitting there and enjoying the coffee.

The drainase in the bathroom was not working well. It provides shampoo and soap in pump bottle without sign. So we don't know, which one is shampoo or soap. Swimming pool doesnt look clean. Nice to see and enjoy the sight, not sure to jump and swim.
