Great location and clean apartment

Very clean!

The property was great and our host was very responsive. We just happened to land there on Holy Week. it was interesting being a gay couple in Braga on Holy Week. We would definitely recommend to others that are into religious ceremonies and that culture. The ruins at Citrania were worth the visit! It is a must see!

Highly recommended.

Ideally located in the pedestrian area opposite the cathedral. The church bells in the morning, which some guests complain about, add a special atmosphere to the stay. The flat is comfortable, equipment well balanced. Very friendly host: you do not meet him, but you are given thorough and easy to follow instructions and several telephone numbers to call in case of problems.

Of the two nice bedrooms, one has its own bathroom, which was suddenly a problem: there was a persistent smell of old sewage coming out of it. The flat is very clean, so the problem is probably the old plumbing. Remarkably, there is a second bathroom in the flat and that one is absolutely ideal.

Great apartment in perfect location. Highly recommend!

The location was perfect, right next to the cathedral. It was close to restaurants and shopping. The hosts were very nice. We liked the Braga travel guide in the room and the restaurant recommendations. We also liked the extra counter space in the bathroom to keep our toiletries. The shower was a good size as were the bedrooms. The bed was quite comfortable. There is also an elevator in the building. I would definitely recommend this apartment!

Perfect Home away from Home!

Superb location ! Comfy bed, clean, nice amenities, and spacious for two couples and our little dog. This apartment is perfect if you desire to prepare the occasional meal. There is a large refrigerator, oven, and four burner electric stove. Highly recommend and will likely rent again when in the area.

Not a deal breaker, but a little more lighting and better air vent/fan in the main bathroom would be nice.

Best of Braga

Impeccable apartment in the heart of old town Braga. Comfortable and well appointed, with aircon and ridiculously comfortable beds. The restaurant suggestions are a welcome addition.

location was perfect, the apartment has everything we needed and is very well organized and user friendly, the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, loved the cathedral bells and closeby restaurants.

Great central stay for Braga. very comfortable!

location, comfortable, 2 bathrooms. very nice overall

oval sinks and design of kitchen is a little clunky when for example you open the dishwasher and access to other cupboards, but this is being very picky! the owners sent us to a car park which actually cost us quite a bit overnight! they could provide some reassurance by giving a suggestion on street parking rather than saying you can find one if you’re lucky. in the end I found a good spot for parking by going past the multi story partaking they recommend, turning right up the one way street and then turning left down the one way street which heads onto the Main Street near Lidl. this street is free.

Great Location

Very modern space in an old building. Very well done. Proximity to site's is good .

Last night before we left there was an issue in one of the bathrooms with smell of sewer gas . It was very strong. We couldn't use the bathroom again

A beautiful place to stay in the quiet heart of the city

It's massively central, like literally on the same square as the Cathedral, but because the old town is mostly pedestrianised, there's no traffic noise, so it's lovely and quiet. That does mean there's no parking, but we don't drive, so we don't care. If anything it's a good thing. Adds to the medieval feel of the place. The apartment was comfortable, large, well-furnished, with high ceilings, quiet, had AC in every room, really nice bathrooms, comfortable beds, clean towels, good lighting. There were plenty of places close by to eat and go out. If you want to stay in the old town of Braga, I doubt you could do better in terms of location, facilities, comfort. The hosts sent us recommendations for places to eat, places to go, vineyards, loads of stuff. We didn't have a chance to do most of them but it was a really hospitable thing. There were also guidebooks in the apartment, which we used.

A couple of things weren't amazing. To be clear though, none of these things ruined our stay or even affected it a lot, they were just... things that could have been better. 1) There was a smell coming from the ensuite bathroom in the middle of the night. I think it was the drains but it was pretty penetrating. 2) The apartment description mentions a balcony. There is no balcony, not even a hint of one. It does not exist, and that was a bit disappointing. 3) Although there was a coffee machine, and there were coffee pods for the machine, there wasn't any sugar. Now I know it might be a bit much to provide sugar, but we had to go and buy a kilo of it just to make a coffee, so even a couple of sachets would have been nice. 4) We turned on the TV and it didn't work. This is, I admit, partly because I don't understand how TVs work. I genuinely grappled with it for about 30 minutes and then gave up. We found out from the hosts on the day we left that it was because of something to do with the input settings, but it was obviously too late by then. 5) The pillows were really soft. If you like soft pillows great, I don't, I like them really really firm. 6) If you don't like waking up early, you might be bothered by the sound of the cathedral bells from around 8am. They aren't insanely loud, and the apartment is soundproofed, but they're there. Personally, I found them fairly amusing and kind of quaint, but I'm me. So the only thing that was really wrong was the lack of balcony. That's something I think shouldn't be on the description if it isn't true.

Best Apartment in Braga for a short or long stay

The property is in the perfect location, close to the centre, restaurants, bars and anything else you may need. The property is clean and very well outfitted for short or long stays. The owners are very helpful and nothing was a problem for them. It would be one of the best places to stay in Braga and we will definitely stay there again.

There is nothing to not like about the property. It is on a pedestrian street with no parking, however there is plenty of paid and free parking nearby.
