About this apartment rental
Luxury first floor apartment nestled in the heart of the ancient Roman Diocletian's palace. The apartment has 2/3 generously proportioned double bedrooms, large living and dining area, 3 spacious bathrooms and a large private terrace. Please note that the third bedroom doubles up as the sitting room and the bed is a sofa bed. The apartment offers all conveniences including, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, cable. TV with English movie channel, good Wi Fi connection, BBQ facilities and mounted hairdriers in each bathroom. We also have international power and usb sockets in each bedroom, as well as the dining room. Babysitting facilities and welcome packs can be arranged on request. Diocletian’s Palace is a pedestrianised zone, which means that car parking is a short walk away. There is a choice between paid and free parking, although free parking is slightly further away.The property can be reached by taxi or coach from Split airport which takes about 30 mins or why not allow us to arrange a private pick up from the airport for the same price as a taxi - we use Gecko tours, an excellent local tour operator who also offers a discount on many local tours (bespoke or advertised) for Prisca guests.

We loved this place. The location is brilliant, right within the walls of the Diocletian Palace. It’s well maintained. The outdoor patio is a big plus. Two comfortable bedrooms and a pullout couch for two more. Great efficiency kitchen and a big dining table for meals. And three bathrooms with showers in each. The owners are great and very knowledgeable about the area. There is a magic to the neighborhood.

Perfect location within Old Town despite the insane crowds just outside our door during our August visit. Virtually no noise with the windows closed and the a/c on. The apartment was immaculate. Plenty of room to spread out. My adult son slept on the pullout couch and reported it to be very comfortable, as were all the beds. Baldo could not have been more charming and gracious.

What a great house, location was perfect, the terrace was a plus. Steps away from the best coffee place in the palace. We wish we had more time in Split and look forward to coming back. Baldo was wonderful, our driver from the ferry was late so Baldo came and helped us with our luggage and we had multiple family members check in at different times and he was super responsive with all of us. A plus host. House was high end and top notch from amenities and decorations.

Our group of four stayed for the most wonderful week. It was the second visit for my husband & me and just as wonderful! Baldo & his wife did absolutely everything to make our stay perfect. The layout for 2 couples gives everyone the space they need although we spent a lot of time on the terrace. We hope to be back again soon!

The apartment is awesome. Spacious, well decorated, well equipped, perfect location. It's like it wasn't enough to be a perfect accommodation, therefore, they included the best property managers Baldo and Nikolina. They were always available, helpful and a wealth of knowledge on the history of the Split region. The picture and description are exact. If we return to Split this will be where we stay. Absolutely perfect apartment for our recent stay in Split. Our family was a group of four, including our two adult children. The three berdrooms, utilizing the living room as the 3ed bedroom, worked out perfectly but the real win was having three large and well equiped bathrooms. All of the apartment looks new and in great order, from the appliances to the bedding, to the air conditioning.
The patio served as a great late afternoon spot for us to relax and unwind after busy days of sightseeing. The location is simply perfect (right across from a great cafe, D16, which was adaily visit) and central to any part of the Old Town or harbor area.
But our stay was truly enhanced by the property managers, Baldo & Nicolina. The apartment was impeccably clean when we arrived and we were met directly at the parking area outsided the walls and escorted the short distance to the apartment by Baldo. Baldo helped with the luggage and provided a wealth of information on the town including good restaurants, sites to see, islands to visit, and ideas for our day trips outside the region. Every recommendation was spot on. He also gave us a brief history of Split and his passion for his hometown clearly shines through. Easy communication and quick responses from Baldo during the visit. Great benefit.

We had such a wonderful time in Split. The apartment was perfect for us. The beds were very comfortable, we enjoyed relaxing on the terrace and the washer allowed us to move on to our next destination with all our clothes clean. We hope to come back to Split again and will definitely try to stay here again.

We had an incredible stay at this location in Split. Baldo, the property manager was absolutely incredible and helped us navigate a driver from the airport and met us at the palace walls and helped bring our luggage to the rental. We were absolutely floored when we walked in and saw how big the patio was knowing we would enjoy that space. There are two very large bedrooms and three separate bathrooms that were absolutely outstanding. The amenities and furnishings in this location are top notch and I must give it up to Nicolina for the cleanliness absolutely spotless. We absolutely love that we were staying within the palace walls and really enjoyed how the area is pedestrian traffic only. Just cut down on noise although there was a small bar below my dad‘s bedroom with sometimes kept him up at night. The windows were incredibly soundproof once you closed them. Don’t think twice about booking the space. Although three of us were traveling, we did think we would need a third bedroom, but my sister and I were more than happy to share the second bedroom with two separate mattresses. Baldo was able to help us navigate where the best restaurants were to go to, the best tour operators, and the most important things to see while in town. He even sit us up with his friend, who picked us up from the airport to also drive us down to Dubrovnik to continue our holiday. Would highly recommend his friend Ante for a drive as he made us all feel safe while also giving us a tour. $40 from air

The flat was great in so many ways -- great communication w/ the host, big bedrooms w/ 3 full bathrooms, A/C in each room, Cable TV, central location, outdoor space, very clean and tidy. But the big plus was Baldo, the manager, who lives nextdoor. He was so helpful and had lots of information and insider tips -- he really made our stay memorable.

WOW is all my family and I could say when we entered this home! It's in the heart of Diocletian's Palace, super clean, well equipped and very spacious. The terrace is a major plus and we loved spending time out there every chance we got. Thea, property owner, was very responsive and helpful with all of my questions. Baldo, property manager, was excellent and we really appreciated him taking the time to give us a quick overview of the city with recommendations for sightseeing & dining. A simply superb apartment, wonderfully equipped and magically located. Nikolina was great, checking us in and giving us advice throughout our stay. Stepping out of the front door into the heart of the Diocletian Palace was an experience to be treasured. I was trying to think of something negative about our stay and came up with a less than perfect corkscrew. That tells you something, when a minor implement shortfall is the only thing that caused the slightest of irritation! Thea and Steven, you should be proud of the experience you offer your guests.

We were two couples who stayed here for a week. The apartment is even better than it looked in the listing. It was spacious and the beds were great! The patio was so nice for morning coffee and evening meals. Since it is in the center of the palace there is a lot of activity and noise from restaurants and foot traffic, but that is to be expected and part of the charm of staying here.
Baldo and his wife were amazing and so helpful! They responded to questions and requests in a few minutes no matter what time we messaged him.
The location is convenient to be able to head out for a meal or a drink while we were in town. Split was also a great location for day trips to smaller towns, the islands and national parks.

Everything was great from Baldo meeting us very late at the airport after a significant flight delay to him assisting us to get to the ferry port very early. The apartment was immaculate. Very short walk from the port to the apartment, which was right in the middle of the old town/palace. No cars around, great vibe, tons of restaurants and music nearby. We wished we had way more than three nights there. Easy to get day trips to so many things. Owners and caretakers are very responsive. The outdoor area is even nicer than the pictures show. Three full bathrooms makes it great for groups.

Wonderful apartment in the center of Old Town Town Split. Very roomy, clean and comfortable for our family of 4-with 2 adult kids. We used the living room area as 3rd bedroom and it worked out great. We thoroughly enjoyed the patio and the coffee shop downstairs. Perfect jumping off point for exploring Split and Baldo is a wonderful and gracious host - this apt exceeded my expectations.

We have a great stay in Split in the heart of Diocletian's Palace -- a perfectly located luxury apartment filled with everything a family would need for a comfortable, multiple day stay. Add in Baldo, the host, who answered every question, and was there for any little minor issue (not to mention his outstanding tour company, Gecko Tours -- check them out for a day tour and Krka excursion) and we'd highly recommend this VRBO!
