Convenient but some disappointments
The cabin is in a great location to enjoy the lake and has beautiful views. Check in/out was easy and we appreciate them letting us check in early.
Some issues we had:
Upon arrival, my niece sat down on the sofa in a black cover up and when she stood up it was COVERED in pet hair. I sent a message to the owner and asked if someone could come vacuum the sofa and they replied promptly and said someone would be there soon. We left so I’m not sure if someone came or not.
Listing said there’s a futon in the living room, which we planned on our teen sleeping on. There was no futon, just a regular sofa.
Listing states it’s for 6 people, but there’s only seating for 5 so someone had to sit on the stairs to eat.
Someone had to leave to run home late one evening and a gate locked them out. We texted the 24 hour emergency number to ask how they could get back in and we were told the cabin key should have a fob on it that would open the gate. It didn’t and when we texted again, we got no reply.
The grill wouldn’t light because the igniter button was broken and there was no lighter. We were able to use the neighbors.
Overall our stay was good. Just listed these things so that others would know and maybe the owner can address them for future guests.

Amazing placw
The land was absolutely gorgeous and the cabin clean and well stocked. The staff was helpful with any and all questions. Definitely going back next year

Lake Side Cabin
Beautiful area. Cabin is a little small and upstairs loft is only about 4 feet tall which is a little small for adults but we only used it for sleeping so it was ok. Couch was advertised as a hideaway bed but it was not. Stairs going to loft is very narrow and steep. It needs a deep cleaning and restocking of necessities but, over all, it was a nice little cabin with great views and we enjoyed our stay.

Not well stocked for cooking and needs better furniture.
The kitchen only had one small saucepan and one small skillet so could not cook the food we had brought with us for a family of 6. It did not have enough plates/bowls/coffee cups for 6 people. Only had 4 towels some of which had holes. The cabinet doors were falling off in the kitchen. The couch was fine, but needs better chairs and a coffee table. The outside of the cabin is filthy with bugs. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned all summer.
We have stayed in other cabins on the same property that were much more accommodating.

Nice Lake Getaway
We love the serenity of the place. Will surely come back.
