Room was clean and roomy. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Loved that everything is in the one building.
If I have to say something bad I Would prefer body wash over a bar of soap.

Astor was the perfect location for us to get public transport to Canberra. It was quite and safe. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We definitely recommend the Astor for families.

Staff Very friendly and helpful. Exterior of the building looked modern and well kept
The room was ridiculously small and badly laid out. You had to sit on the toilet to be able to open the shower door. This room was badly in need of renovation. The exterior of the building belied what the interior of the room was like.
7.0
Restaurant and food service
There was limited crockery in the room.
While it was quiet, as requested, there was no window that could be opened for outside air.

The reception has a great smell, the staff were very attentive as we came really late in the night. Good place to stay as a stopover
Layout of bathroom was a bit awkward but for one night it was fine

The bed was comfortable
The step up to the shower it was a little hard to step up when your old it’s a little out dated

Location is good for ease of access to the railway station and the hospital - the two reasons we were there
It's a good place to stay overnight and be close to where everything is

Chose the 'Astor Inn' for it's location, very convenient to where we needed to be. I had been told that the rooms were 'very basic' so was pleased to see a mini bar (with very reasonable prices) and a toaster as well as the expected kettle. My daughter and I will visit again next time we're in the area.
Mattress was firmer than I'm used to (quite hard) but this isn't a huge deal. A few stretches after getting up irons out the knots!

Location
The bed had springs digging us. The aircon sounded like truck exhaust cutter in and out so loud. Turned it off and then felt like we were in a box with no ventilation.
Got up so at 3.30 in morning and left.
. Not recommend

Location, staff were friendly and the meal & service was superb.
Highly recommend.
Had an executive room and the bathroom slide door kept opening, but apart from that, it was great.

Our bed was a massive and comfortable bed. Our bathroom was a great size. We found staff to be lovely and friendly. We would stay again. Just was a bit disappointed.
We had 4 rooms in total that our family stayed in. Our room had a sewage smell coming from our bathroom. My dad I am sure paid same price as us he had a much smaller bed, room and bathroom. Our daughters room was ok, they could not shut their bathroom windows and she had a baby. I did tell her to see reaction not sure if she did. Our son didn't really comment on his room.

Location is very convenient to railway station and the main shopping street in Wagga Wagga. The restaurant offers some nice meals. Staff, both reception and cleaners were friendly and helpful.
Noise of plumbing from other rooms was sometimes noisy but not unbearable There was some traffic noise from the Sturt Highway but, again, not unbearable.

Very friendly staff. Great location.
The towel rail in the bathroom needs to be moved away from the bath so people don't use it when getting in and out of the bath.

The location is great next to the train station and across the road from the main street. Walking distance to everything the rooms are very small so it's a good place to just lay your head. Upstairs rooms are a little outdated also
A slightly outdated room had a chemical smell that gave me a migrain.
