My family had a wonderful time staying for 10 days over mini lobster season. The location was perfect. We could walk to Kiki's Bar and Restaurant for live music and food. Gas for the boat is just across Pine Channel. Short drive to groceries, gas, pharmacy, and bait. Property manager was quick to respond. Long dock with water for the boat. My only wish was power at the end of the dock to recharge my trolling motor. Otherwise, great stay!

Great location the house is a complete dump. Kids got bed bugs dishes were dirty filled with bugs. Both floors smelled of mildew had to wait 1.5 hours to access the property.

If you are looking for easy access to Atlantic for fishing or hanging out on a reef, this is your spot. Good for multiple families with multiple boats. Very responsive property managers.

We had a great time. The location was great, water front, dock, walking distance to nearby restaurant. We used the screen in porch upstairs to sit and relax in the breeze. The house is older but as is the case with most every property in the keys I have stayed at. Any concerns we had we discussed with property manager which were addressed right away. But overall great time and would love to return in the future.

the house is beautiful especially the upstairs bedroom and kitchen/living room area. My friends and I cooked our catch and enjoyed a meal at the outdoor dining table in the evenings. My favorite amenity is the dock where we stargazed at night while waiting for the fish to bite. I highly recommend for a longer stay with friends and family. The two floors are not connected by an indoor stairwell which some may not prefer.

Great location. Great views. Kiki’s down the road was a very nice benefit. House is just dated. Would love to see upgrades made to the house so it could be a real destination.

Did love the location, however there are a few things that could be improved in order to make the experience much better. The communication with Alex was amazing, same with the manager.

Right on the water. Dolphins, rays, turtles and nurse sharks visited regularly. Fishing is good from dock, and the nurse sharks fascinated our dog. House is a bit on spartan side, but definitely workable and comfortable. Manager was available by text when needed, but we had no problems while there. Kikis is a short walk up the road and great seafood shop down on Cudjoe Key.

All the reviews below are accurate. The good ones and the bad, great location and keys are fun, but they need to take care of the place. This is not professionally managed and overpriced. It does have bugs, German cockroaches, ants, and spiders. The top floor is not attached to the bottom internally so your kids will need to lock the door or come outside and upstairs if they need you unless they have a cell phone. It is old, lots of makeshift furniture and that’s ok, but they at least need to have lights on the stairs that work. The dock is new in the pictures, but has deteriorated since. I had to message for checkin info and construction next door was well into Friday night-cement truck and loaders running until 7:30. Rusty forklift and furniture still there… seems nothing has changed in years with this place. If I had a home to rent out for the price they are charging, I’d take more pride in it or at least supply toilet paper. (No I did not message the property manager for tp, we handled it ourselves after the first 2 complaints).

Perfect location for a nice guys getaway. Rented a boat which worked out great keeping it on the beautiful dock. Great bar within walking distance. Plenty of room for 6 to sleep. Can’t wait to come back

Gorgeous views from this property. The sunrises were spectacular! This property has plenty of room to park your boat and trailer. My 3 border collies had plenty of room on the property to go for walks and not even leave the property. Just walking down the 300 foot dock is an experience in itself with plenty of marine life to watch, dock your boat, and some sweet snorkeling and fishing. I spent quite a bit of my time just watching the beautiful, ever-changing colors of the water and sky. Also a bonus of having a grille and bar just a 4 min walk away! I highly recommend staying at this property for a memorable time in the keys!

We came to town for a girls weekend to celebrate my best friend turning 30 and running the key west half marathon. The house is in the perfect location to quickly get to key west and other keys. The backyard was our favorite area and has the best sunrises. The owner was quick to respond on any question. Will definitely be saving this location to stay at in the future. Everything in the house was in perfect condition

The upstairs screened-in porch is awesome and the long dock out into the channel is too. The sunrises were beautiful!
2.0 / 5.0
The location and pier were really nice but there seemed to be a bug problem as our entire party got bitten while staying at the property. The bite pattern suggests there were bed bugs in the house…
Additionally we weren’t able to get access to the property during the check in. That process could be a lot more streamlined. We also ran out of utensils but luckily the owner brought some for us.
Should really look into the bug problem.

Incredible dock and porch to watch the sunrise and sunset! The location was amazing close to Key West and some great fishing.

Price per night compared to condition of property is too high. Interior and exterior finishes look worn/weathered, but maybe the Host looks for that look?? Cabinets and countertops a bit dated, though functional. Interior wiring for outlets mounted outside wall - probably not up to code standards. Outside is unsightly - the front looks like a storage lot for excess cars, rusting forklift, crumbling old foundation, broken/ajar garage door (for critters to enter). Flooring type varies but has no threshold transitions, so watch your step. Beach towels, dishwashing soap, dishwasher detergent, nor full roll of paper towels not provided so buy them when you get your groceries. BTW - downstairs bathroom has 2 hose bibs with one garden hose connected next to the Flamingo-colored tiled shower… purpose unknown since there is no drain there. Snorkeling was good - small fish, green jellies, a 5’ nurse shark under the dock (don’t panic - not a bad thing). Trying not to be too critical since I am also a beach area rental host outside of FLA. But bottom line is that this one is overvalued per night. My original edit was more detailed, but I ran out of room in this space.

Great area, close to stores but far enough away it felt secluded. Fantastic pier and dock. Snorkeling and fishing at the dock was awesome.

Great Location and Great Host
We loved the location being right near everything we needed. Grocery store minutes away, restaurant/bar and boat rental within walking distance, and the dock was just perfect. The host had great and timely communication with us throughout our trip whenever we needed him. The house is nice but like many in the area it’s been around for a while and has been used so it’s not going to look like new construction, but as long as you’re ok with that you’ll have a great experience. Highly recommended!

Beautiful view
Beautiful view , plenty of outdoor seating and tables . New gas, and charcoal grill . Good location, about 35 minutes from Key West . There is a decent restaurant within walking distance. The kitchen seemed to have everything you would need to cook . The house was clean , and had plenty of linens. Overall good experience, the only negative for us was the house definitely needs some updates ,and no tvs in the bedrooms .

Loved the dock and watching the sunrise! Comfortable beds and the house matches the pictures online.

Great location, run down house
The location is great, very private and low key, with a great screened in porch. The house and grounds however are getting very run down The beds are well used and the futons have a metal bar running across at waist/back height making it very uncomfortable. Cooking was a little challenging as essentials were missing. Locals said we paid way to much for renting it. Overall we made it work.

Great location for layback with beautiful scenery , or short distance walks to enjoy key west bar life with great music. Definitely consider going back.

Very decent but no frills.
VRBO had very few houses available to rent for only two nights. This one was available so we booked it. I thought it was a little run down for the price we paid. However we had no real issues with the place and it is very much as advertised. Good communication with the manager and great view of the water.

Perfect Get-Away Near Key West
My 8 person party had a wonderful time here! Property was as described - comfy, large, with a to-die-for view and water access. Alex was a great host with great communication, absolutely no problems at all. The location was amazing, close enough to Key West for an easy trip in, but far enough away to feel you could relax and recharge. Loved the quick walks to Kiki's for a snack or drinks and the ability to rent a boat just next door at Lower Keys Boat Rental. Definitely, definitely recommend.

Peaceful serenity
This was our first experience with the Florida Keys. This great home didn't disappoint. Walking distance to Kiki's. Rented a boat 2 doors down, kayaks and paddle boards delivered. Hidden gem!! We are so lucky to have found this great home and location.
We was able to sneak a proposal in!
We will save this home for future stays!

Boris Paradise on Little Torch Key
This property is a great island house, has lots of parking, and plenty of outside space for everyone to sprawl out. The dock is deep enough to dock up a bay boat or jet skis which is a plus. We enjoyed our stay!
