We did not expect much since this was the last room available
Very old dark room with a awful view to the inside of the buildings HVAC

The location
Its an old place that needs refurbising. Unconfortable mattres and pillow and old, smelly blankets.
Very noisy rooms.
Small parking, usualy you have to park outside and far if you arrive after dinner.
Expensive for what you get, clearly not a 3 starts hotel

BOOKING AD WAS MISLEADING, AS YOU ADVERTISED A DOUBLE ROOM WITH ONE ONLY BREAKFAST (DOUBLE ROOM FOR ONLY ONE PERSON)
BESIDES, 10€ BREAKFAST IS TOO EXPENSIVE
BRAKFAST DEFICIENT
STAFF IN RECEPTION NOT WELL COORDINATED

The second room we got, in the "decent" building was nice. It was modern and well done. The bed was comfortable, there was a small terrace outside the room, facing the hills. We were given this "updated" room because of the awful first room they gave us, which we complained about.
The first room we got was in the REALLY BAD building. It was like the hotel from the Shining inside. Our room was filthy. There were tons of hair in the bathroom and rubbish in the bin, including (brace yourselves) USED CONDOMS. The smell was as bad as the image. Yes - we complained. They told us they would see what they could do if we went back and took photos and emailed them to reception. We had already vacated the room, so we then had to go back in to photograph the smelly used condoms for the hotel to upgrade us to the rather nice room in the new building (and they apologized). NOTE: The offer we were shown on Booking was for the NICE building ("Thalasso Cantábrico Las Sirenas ") but BEWARE - the page switches you out to the really nasty "Hotel Las Sirenas" which is owned by the same people... The GOOD offers you are shown on Booking.COM are NOT what you end up with. I think this is deceptive and sneaky. In a way, we were lucky the room was filthy so we got upgraded.

We stayed in apartment 505 which has a view right over the sea. We went before it had fully reopened after the Covid 19 lockdown, so the facilities weren't up and running, but we knew that before going. The roof top bar terrace was open though, so we visited that. I'm sure when the hotel fully reopens (the 19th of this month I believe), it would be a spectacular place to stay. The swimming pool looked amazing.
