We loved the location and the villa was charming. Amazing views.
Danila, the manager of the property was excellent - very welcoming, responsive and helpful.
We’ve had a great experience. Very happy with Summer In Italy service.

Beautiful villa close to Sorrento! We loved sitting on the many porches and enjoying the great view of the sea.
We were able to walk to it from the train station and also was able to walk to several restaurants in Sant'Agnello di Sorrento.
Highly recommend it!

Loved this place. We were a group of 6 adults and the villa made a great base for our stay in the Amalfi Coast. About a mile walking to train station was easy. The villa is a real special treat to stay in with plenty of charm from the glory days of the 60's. It was a real treat to stay in such an amazing villa, with 14 foot ceilings, 1 and 2 foot thick walls, original windows and shutters, directly on the coast with balconies overlooking the whole coast and Mount Vesuvius. Would love to come back some time.
Thanks so much for opening you villa for us to enjoy. It was amazing to see its charm and I especially enjoyed it being original and preserved. We all wish you well when you decide to retire in the area and can imagine the villa when you bring it back to life. Everything worked well for our group and had no issues. Loved visiting with your cleaning lady as it helped us settle in. We all live in wonderful homes in California with vacation homes in the mountains. Your villa gave us an exciting glimpse into Italy's wonderful culture. Thanks again.
Summer In Italy did the most amazing job we have ever experienced. They held our funds through the Covid crisis, and helped us reschedule after (VRBO stiffed us and kept our money on other reservations). Their communication is unmatched and nothing like VRBO and the others. They answered emails immediately, gave us suggestions, helped us settle into the property, and were easy to communicate with. Great job Luca and your team.

My husband and I , son , daughter , son-in-law, 13 yr old, 9 yr old granddaughters really enjoyed the place. It was a beautiful location. Rooms for everyone . Loved the terraces. Great area to relax with some wine, etc.
Great restaurants next to Villa . 30 minute walk to Serrento . No problem getting taxis either.
Minor inconveniences: no a/c - we only had 1 night where it was a little uncomfortable, otherwise it was bareable with ceiling fans. There is a washing machine but no dryer, we used the rack dryers while we were there. This is typical of Italy living…so we expected that. And finally, because of the promenade outside the house, it could get a little noisy.

Villa Beniamina It’s a perfect place for family and friends to stay. It is absolutely beautiful, is well-located for trips to Sorrento, Capri, Positano and Pompeii. The property managers were extremely responsive and helpful. We highly recommend!

Fantastic location and view. Plus, the house is amazing in itself. There are so few villas immediately on the coast like this in Sorrento so this is a special place.
Being so special, many locals and also weddings next door come out to enjoy this location too which makes it quite lively most nights. That’s not too much an issue but since the villa does not have air conditioning, you must sleep with windows open which makes it less fun.
But once you have your coffee or a limoncello on that deck overlooking the water, you will forget about your lack of sleep and fall in love with Sorrento.
Everything worked out well. I’d be happy to book another villa next time.

Villa Beniamina is spectacular
Villa Beniamina is spectacular! The location, overlooking the sea, is outstanding. The train station and grocery store are a short half-mile walk. We always felt completely safe walking.
The villa is equipped with everything you would need for a perfect vacation. We appreciated the washing machine, the big screen TV in the living room. The view from the roof top terrace is outstanding. We could see Mount Vesuvius. We also appreciated the maid service three times per week. We were provided clean sheets and towels half way through our ten day stay.
The owner was very responsive to our needs, and speaks fluent English.
Summer In Italy is a great company - lots of communication before the trip.

We really enjoyed staying at Villa Beniamina
We really enjoyed staying at Villa Beniamina. It is a property full of character and charm. The rooms are large, the ceilings very high, and with the wonderful stairwell, hallway and landing - it feels very grand.
The fact that it is an older property means that some aspects are not in the best order, the floors in some bedrooms for example have loose tiles and the upstairs bathrooms are a bit tired. The owners have recently refurbished the kitchen which although quite small was lovely. There is a garden with lemon trees and plenty of shade on a hot day.
The overall impression is of a delightful property in a lovely location.
The views from the villa are amazing! The area outside the villa has a bench and people come to sit and admire the scenery. The downside is that on warm nights young people often congregate outside, playing music and making a noise, making it hard to sleep in the front bedroom. The refuse collectors also make noise in the early hours which could make sleep difficult if you are a light sleeper.
Maria the caretaker is a great asset, she is extremely responsive should anything need sorting out and comes in during the week to clean. She is a warm, friendly person and helped to make our stay very comfortable.
Summer In Italy have been great, very helpful and responsive to all questions.

The villa is exceptional
The villa is exceptional. It's location / view is unbeatable.
The hosts are wonderful.
We came two years ago and told so many stories about how much we liked it, that different friends wanted to go to the area and stay in that very villa. It was as special the second time as the first.
Summer In Italy was very helpful. They make everything easier!

Villa Beniamina was exactly the experience I wanted for my families trip to Sorrento
Villa Beniamina was exactly the experience I wanted for my families trip to Sorrento. It was a wonderful old world home with lots of charm.
Plenty of room for everyone and property is exceptional. Especially the location. We just could not get enough of the spectacular view...
Maria [the caretaker] who met us at the property could not have been more gracious and accommodating.
Because of its location, for us it was very special as we were able to visit with my husbands family and make wonderful memories. We definitely will return.
The booking process was very easy and the agents provided excellent assistance.

My entire family had a most wonderful stay at Villa Beniamina
My entire family had a most wonderful stay at Villa Beniamina. It is very close to shopping, restaurants, the Sorrento beach and Piazza Tasso.
The villa it self was fantastic along with the outstanding views. I loved everything about it!
The villa has a beautiful terrace with the most beautiful sunset over the Bay which we made it a point to view from the upper terrace every evening with some appetizers and drinks... Amazing!
The highlight of the villa was Maria [the caretaker]. She made everything so very easy. She met us and explained the villa upon our arrival. She also offered chef service which we took advantage of one evening. The shopping, the cooking, cleanup and food prep with amazing presentation and flowers was there for us when we arrived back from Positano.
I would book with Luca from Summer In Italy again. He was very responsive and wanted to be sure that everything was understood. He and his crew always stayed in touch before our arrival to be sure that everything went smoothly.

Best Villa in Town
Great location with an ocean view from the balconies and rooftop terrace. Very spacious with vintage charm, a lovely garden, and a newly updated kitchen that was a joy to use. It was close to excellent restaurants, public transportation, and grocery stores. The service was superb, including a friendly relationship with a neighboring hotel which offered invaluable recommendations and assistance.

Fabulous villa overlooking the water.
This villa has views that are just as good, if not better than the priciest hotels along the coastline of Sorrento. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. We loved the roof top view of the sunset for our cocktail hours overlooking the sparkling blue waters as we gazed at Mount Vesuvius, Pompei and the Isle of Capri. We were a party of 8 (4 couples) and the villa fit our crowd perfectly.

Absolutely no problems with Summer In Italy. Feedback was quick and helpful.

Beautiful old villa in great location. Needs some attention as dated but very authentic Italian
Great place to stay, only 25 mins walk from Sorrento centre. Good local amenities and restaurants. Fantastic terrace to watch the super yachts which anchor off shore! A little noisy in the evening as a perfect view point outside but beautiful old villa full of character

Villa Beniamina is set in the most stunning location
Villa Beniamina is set in the most stunning location. Many of the local restaurants and hotels charge a fortune to sit or stay to savour that same view. The villa is enormous with plenty of space for a large group. It is a period property and has that old world charm. The villa is kept very clean with 3 weekly visit from the housekeeper and the beds are also very well laundered. We loved having a choice of balconies/terraces to us as the day, sunlight progressed. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there.
The owner and house keeper are extremely friendly and helpful.
Summer In Italy were fantastic, they made everything easy for me to book and pay for the holiday. Their correspondence was fast and always helpful. They made additional arrangements for us when we needed to stay another day due to flight difficulties. I would definitely use them again. Thank you.

Our three generation family stayed at Beniamina and we absolutely LOVED the house
Our three generation family stayed at Beniamina and we absolutely LOVED the house! The interior of the home is lovely with beautiful marble and tile work, comfortable spacious bedrooms and lots of indoor and outdoor space for congregating. The sea views from the house are absolutely stunning, particularly at sunset. The location is absolutely perfect for an Amalfi Coast visit.
Maria, who comes in and cleans, could not be nicer or more helpful - we all adored her. And the landlord was there to greet us warmly on arrival. The house is older (which is why it is so special) and we had one small issue with on outlet for the dishwasher. I contacted the landlord and within a couple of hours Maria showed up with an electrician who fixed it immediately. I was surprised and delighted with that level of responsiveness. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.
Booking through Summer In Italy was seamless. Luca was extremely helpful and the only surprise was that the house was even more lovely than the pictures showed it to be.

The villa is spacious and the rooms are very generous.
The view from the terrace and balconies are worth the trip. The owner and our host, Robeto, was very kind and friendly (although we did not see him again after we first arrived.) There were 5 women in our group so all but two had a private bedroom with balcony. We found the beds and commendations to be quite acceptable. We shared 3 bathrooms but had to use one of our 3 prong adapters for their hair dryer. The kitchen was our main meeting area for coffee and conversation although we did very little cooking. Too much to do and places to eat. The garden off the kitchen is lovely and well maintained with all sorts of plants including roses and a lemon tree. Running out of hot water for showers seemed to be our main concern.
The location is great, we walked to the bus stop in a little over 2 minutes and for 1.5 Euros
the bus took us into the city of Sorrento (about a 10 min drive because of traffic). The city square was very touristy with shops and outdoor cafes. Down the side streets are many souvenirs shops including gelato shops which I loved
There are a number of places to eat near the villa: a pizza restaurant, another restaurant
(where I got the best fillet steak) and a hotel (all within walking distance of 5 minutes or less on the main street just around the corner and up a street.) The Catholic church is also just around the corner.
We took side trips to the Amalfi Coast, the Farm and cooking, Wine tasting and Pompeii (using Sorrento Limo because they all require transportation). My favorite was the Farm Experience: olive groves, lemon groves, milk to cheese demonstration, and we made our own pizza to lively Italian music - so much fun !

We had an incredible stay with our Family of 8
We had an incredible stay with our Family of 8. Villa Beniamina was very special: an old "Mansion" style villa with neat character. Dinners on the upper terrace were beautiful and provided 360 degree views of the sea and the surrounding city and mountains. The location was perfect, walking distance to downtown Sorrento, with plenty of shops and restaurants close by. The location and view was spectacular. Highly recommend this location and will definitely come back for another stay.
The owner, Mr Renato was wonderful and very helpful in getting us connected with local stores and tours. He met us and walked us through everything we needed. Thank you for allowing your home to other people. It is a special experience and you were a wonderful host.
Excellent communications with Summer In Italy and easy to plan our trip working with your team. Received very quick responses when we had questions or needed guidance.

My responses are very much in a 'for us' mode
My responses are very much in a 'for us' mode. Villa Beniamina was perfect for our family who were in Italy for a very special wedding. The villa is a true 'vintage lady' and quirky (as are we)... Be prepared for her electrics and plumbing. Treat her gently. The 'vintage lady' villa was immediately taken to our hearts. We enjoyed the space. Exactly the right eclectic mix of venue for our very mixed aged party. Every new addition said 'Wow' or 'This is great'! My heartfelt thanks go out to all who helped make it possible.
Our hosts were generous with their help in accommodating our various needs. Keep being as kind as you are already. :)
Thank you Summer In Italy staff for navigating me around. Ciao, till our next visit... (I dream).

The villa is in a magnificent location with fabulous views
The villa is in a magnificent location with fabulous views. We loved sitting on the terrace watching the sun set over the bay of Naples.
There were lots of deck chairs and tables if you want to sit outside. The kitchen was well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher -- with the appropriate powders and tablets so you don't have to buy them -- and all the dishes, glasses and cutlery you could need. The free wifi was helpful.
It was great that three times a week two friendly and efficient cleaners came in to tidy up, clean the bathrooms and make the beds.
We didn't have a car but there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, food shops, etc. within walking distance. The bus around the corner takes you right into the center of Sorrento.
We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it highly.
I found the Summer in Italy staff very helpful. I would definitely use the site again to find holiday accommodation.
