Gut gelegene, schöne Pension, aber kein Hotel!

Die Lage war sehr zentral, das Gebäude ist ein schön renovierter Altbau. Obwohl Schlüsselvergabe und Rückgabe, sowie Bezahlung nur über einen Automaten lief, war alles problemlos. Im Notfall wäre jemand erreichbar gewesen.

Mir fehlte ein Wasserkocher, da es kein Frühstück gab, hätte ich nur ein Getränk für 50 Cent am Automaten in der Lobby ziehen können. Da könnte mehr auf dem Zimmer sein, als eine Flasche Wasser.

Missed chance for a very nice facility in a place that is definitvely worth visiting.

nice spacious family room, modern, basic, with carpet though.

We stayed two nights and never saw any host or service personnel. This place is listed as a Pension but does not offer breakfast or else. To actually have breakfast one needs to walk to the center of the town. ( 10 min without coffee) A lot of information is provided in leaflets. Check in per "vending machine". A coffee machine is available in the common hall but it requires payment (which is fine) but does not inform how much a coffee actually is. (Or I missed the information) Room cleaning only every two days. After all this place is a beautiful facility but due to the absence of any type of host, at least during morning hours. It de gradates itself to a plain RB&B just without cooking amenities.

We expected breakfast to be included. We saw a picture of a room where breakfast was served in buffet form (booking.com). From the fact that no breakfast was available the rate for the room is rather high.

A functional place, we couldn't get a triple room in Eisenach at a better price, and its reasonably close to the centre. No issues with the check-in process.

We were at the ground floor, right next to a private terrace or a bar of some kind - we had to listen to people's conversations until 11 pm, thought at our request they kept quiet afterwards, I'd avoid the coffee from the machine in the lobby - it tastes decidedly cheap,

Nice accommodation at 10-minute walk from Eisenach Center

Nice and spacious room with comfortable bed. Very practical auto-check-in system. Easy to park in the surroundings.

It was a bit difficult to finde the entrance upon arrival

Enjoyed it immensely,in spite of the climbing of 1 flight of stairs a couple of times daily.

everything, particularly the shower.Bus stop near and town center in walking distance

The 8or 9 steps at the entrance and the aluminium ramp for prams walkers etc was completely useless.Not good for disabled people or people who have to push a pram or wheelchair

I found the check in process tricky to negotiate. I had run out of mobile data so the details of how to do this didn’t arrive. I tried calling the emergency phone number on the door but there seemed to be not enough digits and I couldn’t make the calls work.

very clean the personal made their best to accommodate me with my early arrival and wanting to leave my luggage sooner.

Lovely place near the centre

Very spacious and bright room, brand new furnitures and big shower. Very clean and comfy. Breakfast was alright too.

Superb

The bathroom and room is clean and spacious. Location is gd with eateries and supermarket within 5mins walking distance.

The automated check-in instructions will be good if it can come with pictures. We didn't expect the check-in is without any staff. We didn't know at 1st.

First of all, the girls at the reception are very nice and helpful. The pension is very clean, the room and the bathroom are spacious and the breakfast is good. If I get through the area again, I'll definitely be back.

Newly renovated functional room. Staff were all kind.

Breakfast was little expensive and should offer at least from 7am.Front desk should indicate opening hours and contact phone number when nobody’s around , as we were worried until they finally showed up for check out before we depart 7:30 AM.

I can recommend this hotel to any visitor to Eisenach.

Great room and breakfast. Also pretty close to city center. Staff were very friendly and making a lot of efforts.

Not much to mention. Only the Soap in bathroom should be replaced more often.

There did not seem to be many particularly nice hotels in Erfurt so this was probably a good deal.

The beds were ok but would have preferred a larger king to the two twins. The bathroom was a good size and great walk in shower. The room was large and had a small mini bar. I did not see a price list and we did not get charged so I think the contents were free. There is no AC so we were glad to have our own fan.

Not a fan of rain showers but the water pressure was good. The bathroom lighting was the worst! Would preferred to have been able to eat breakfast a little later than 8:30 AM.

This was a wonderful location to explore Eisenach and walk to the Wartburg.

I loved The uniqueness of a hotel that repurposed a school for their Pension.They arrived promptly with a phone call when I came off hours. The breakfast was superb.And the location worked wonderfully to explore the city. They did their best with my limited German and help me get where I needed to go.

Nothing. I was going to say a map would have been nice but I think most people pull up information on their device. I am learning.
