It was very quiet and was beautiful

All the meals were very good and filling. The staff was always friendly and wonderful even when my husband was asking for fishing stuff. The snorkeling and diving staff were wonderful!
The A/C went out a few times and huts were always muggy and damp. I think the bedrooms need to be enclosed in all of them so guests can sleep better. Otherwise they were very cozy.

There was a lot to do
Fishing from pier, hobby cat, kayaking etc
Also it was very empty. Not all the cabana were booked. The staff is super friendly .
I loved sailing to the sandbank by the reef and swimming there.
Some of the food was not great.Specifically the dinner I felt was heavy. I wish they would have chosen more traditional dishes and light healthy, fresh dishes.I enjoyed some of the lunches and the Belizean breakfast. There was no menus to pick from for lunch or dinner. Everyone is presented with the same meal at one big table.
If the wind is over 18 be prepared. They cancel the tours.
So most of the excursions we had booked were cancelled. We came there mostly for diving and did not get a single dive in. The Cabanas get very hot at night , even with the air conditioner , so be prepared.
When you walk around the island you see piles of garbage. Plastic bottles and all kinds of trash where they are building I guess another resort. The resort property itself is super clean.

Everything!!! The staff makes the experience exceptional!!! We will definitely stay here again in the future.
Only thing we would like is a shelf or caddy in the shower.

The resort was incredible and the staff were amazing!! Melvin the bartender was great! Michelle in the office was very attentive. Elmor needs to take everyone’s pictures because he is a hidden gem!! The cook, I am a picky eater and I was super nervous about the options as each meal is designated by the cook. But every meal was incredible. Every dish he made was great!! Do bring snacks as the kitchen closes after dinner. But I will pack snacks the next time I return. It was beyond peaceful and great! My partner regarded the diving as the best he has ever experienced. Will definitely be returning!
Everything was great. Just some snacks in between while drinking and in the evening would be great. During dinner, dessert was served but around 8 I would want something else. But I’m a snacker!

Fresh fruit and delicious coffee every morning, not to mention they already had coffee and fresh orange juice at our door before I was awake!!💞 AMAZING!
Our cabana was not as cool as we are used to in the states, but acclimatized very quickly to island “cool”.

I loved EVERYTHING!!! about this resort from the food to the staff and location...absolutely breathe taking. Especially loved how they make you feel right at home in the way they greet you each morning until the sun sets at night. Thumbs up to the man of the hour Oliver!!!! exceptional concierge...

The Staff & daily 3 meals were excellent, the meals with other guests at the resort were the highlight of the stay. They also have dietary restrictions complementary to your needs.
I came away with daily bites all over my body staying in the cabanas but I know the people in the big villa house did not get bites. Everyone Staying in CABANA did which is a BIG PROBLEM for me. I’m still itchy!

The staff are absolutely incredible. Best customer service I have ever experienced, hands down. The island is GORGEOUS and the facilities are impeccably clean and beautiful. I loved that the lack of WIFI in the rooms/beaches forced you to unplug. The drinks are to die for. The other guests at the resort were super nice; we made friends quickly. Actually coming back for our one year anniversary with 3 couples we met during our stay!
There are two things I didn't love - the first is the sheer amount of mosquitos. Obviously not the resort's fault, just make sure you bring a LOT of deep woods bug spray. We (2 people) went through 3 cans in 6 days and I still got devoured. The second thing was the food - don't get me wrong, it was pretty delicious, I was just hoping for a more local flare. The food is definitely VERY Americanized, which was a slight disappointment.

The staff are exceptional and truly want to make your experience a memorable one. I personally really enjoyed the food and not needing to choose any meals beyond breakfast, which has a small menu. Nothing is very fancy but it's certainly delicious. The activities available at the resort are perfect if you don't want to do an all-day excursion. I highly recommend the guided snorkeling and sailing (and the daily rum punch!).
It wasn't obvious (to me at least) from the photos that there is only a very small area of "beachfront." I was thinking an island would have more sand/waves. That being said, you can sit by the pool and still hear the water without getting sandy.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. It was everything we could have dreamed of relaxation wise. The staff are the true gold of this place. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you’re having a lovely time.
I would have liked to see some of the water on either side of the property cleaned up a bit. They do such a wonderful job keeping the grounds in top shape; however, a place to relax and float in the sea would have been nice.

From the moment we arrived we were treated with kindness and a genuine sense that the staff primary focus was ensuring we had a great time at their resort. Jahnene, Oliver, Melvin, Wilbur and the names go on, make you feel like part of the resort family. The resort is large enough to have great meals and mix with other people if you want to, small enough to feel intimate. Your days belong to you, you can do as much or as little as you want. Some activities come as part of your package such as fishing, kayaking, sailing and some off island activities come with an additional fees that still represent great value. We lounged on the beach, sailed, caught barracudas and red snappers, saw dolphins in the sea, swam with manatees while snorkeling and got to ride a jungle river to the areas magnificent Mayan temples. All in four days. The food was incredible. We feel relaxed, we spent four days in paradise. Quite literally our best vacation ever.
There was nothing we did not like, however note that you can leave a resort gratuity which would have been the same as we had tipped individually but would have perhaps been spread better amongst the unseen staff.
