Host was great, flat was very nice and adequate for our needs. Good location for all p.o.i.'s. Just dont bring alot of luggage as there is no lift and alot of stairs to scale...saying that though, the host was gracious enough to help us carry our 300 lbs of luggage. Nice place and very nice host.

The apartment that hosted us is really fantastic, it is located in the beautiful and central but quiet Via Maqueda.
Massimo's apartment is suitable for all types of travelers, particularly suited to the needs of a family as it is quite spacious with two comfortable bedrooms available. It offers a very cozy atmosphere, furnished with good taste, warm, clean, super comfortable and well located.
In the bedrooms we slept divinely in large beds and with comfortable mattresses, I immediately felt at home ...
The terrace has an exciting view on the beautiful views of the roofs of Palermo and the beautiful domes of the churches. It's well equipped and sunny, has given us good times, sipping a glass of wine at sunset.
The area where the apartment is located is quiet: the beautiful Ballarò Market is just around the corner, just a few steps away from the Teatro Massimo, the Royal Palace, the Cathedral, naturally all within walking distance. In addition, a pleasant shopping tour can be started from below the house.
Massimo is a perfect host, kind and helpful, who will welcome you warmly on arrival and spend minutes to introduce you to the apartment and to describe the city.
He knows his city very well, he provided us with a useful map with the main tourist attractions and gave us excellent advice on restaurants, pizzerias and taverns. We tried them all and we were very satisfied.
Excellent transfer service from the airport to the apartment, which Massimo takes care of personally. During the trip he takes the opportunity to present the city and to allow guests a very useful first knowledge of the historical center.
I think this apartment is a really ideal place to stay in the city and I highly recommend it. Thanks Massimo, it was a top vacation! I would gladly come back anytime.

We really enjoyed staying in this apartment. It's on Via Maqueda, one of the main streets in the city and central to all the sights of the old town. The apartment has lots of character with two balconies including one overlooking the street where you can drink wine and watch the world go by (as we did every night). Everything you need is included with a fully stocked kitchen, TV, Wi-Fi and aircon. Massimo, the owner, is the perfect host who will welcome you warmly on arrival and spend a few minutes explaining about the apartment and the city. He gave us some great restaurant recommendations - we tried all of them and were very impressed - plus a useful map which helped us navigate the back alleys and side streets. This was our first time in Palermo and we absolutely loved it. We thoroughly recommend the city and Massimo's apartment is the ideal place to stay.

As mentioned by several other reviewers, Massimo's apartment is spacious, beautiful and well located. Massimo himself is genuily friendly and wants to help. He answers the messages sent to him quickly, and often. I asked his help on one particular matter, and he did so.
Now, renters have to understand that they will be located on a busy street of a big and busy city, and so as to accept the normal noises of urban life. But the bedrooms are well isolated and, with the normal noise of the air conditioning, one can have a good nights sleep. The only real drawback of the apartment is the frequent and rather strong noise generated by the motor of the outside water cistern that located on the side of the wall of the living room. Still, overall, a good rental, and a great renter!

This apartment is situated in the heart of the town, close to the main attractions. You can walk around and reach them in a short time. So you can come back to the flat during the day for getting a break whenever you want and rest for a while. Despite you are in center, the apartment is calm and silent.
We really felt at home, the bed is very comfortable and the living room is a very wide and bright space. In the kitchen we found all we need for cooking. It is very bright and clean. Massimo has thought to everything for allowing people to enjoy their stay. There are even some light blankets you can use when you read a book or watch TV in the living room. The apartment is on the top of the building and the views on the town are unforgettable. The terrace is really a jem. We used in the morning for the breakfast and in the evening for drink before getting out.
Massimo is a very kind owner and we could appreciate the passion he uses to manage the relationship with his guests.
He answered very promptly to our enquiry and to our questions before the arrival.
He met us at the apartment and helped my wife with her luggage. His suggestions for the visit are very helpful. He gave us information about restaurants, pasticcerie, and cafe. We followed his suggestions and found them perfectly in sintony with our expectations.
I had a problem with my mobile phone and he helped me to get the information about how to solve it.
I want definetevely recommend this flat to everybody. I don't think it shoud be easy to find something better in the town!

The apartment is beautiful, and the terrace is a big plus. It has everything for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is amazingly well supplied with all possible utilities and whatever is needed for cooking. The location is very good, close to everything interesting in the old town, the train station and bus station are very close too. The market is nearby and rich in all possible kinds of food. The owner, Massimo, is very thoughtful and warm person, ready to help with anything you may need. We had too short stay to fully enjoy this place, so definitely will be back! See you in the future, Massimo!
