We had a fabulous 2 weeks in Rhodes. We used a taxi company recommended by Anthe for the hour trip to the villa where we were met by the smiling George !
The villa was great with the outside area just fantastic, probably the best we have had on our trips to the Greek islands. Just as it appeared on line. Always a nice breeze round the pool in the afternoon. Most days we spent the morning at Plakia Beech which was a couple of minutes drive away. Sandy, clear waters and a great beach bar for lunch.
Anthe provides numerous recommendations on places to go and eat and we get breakfast each morning from the bakery in Lardos. Lunch normally at the beach and plenty of great places to eat, our faves being Valentinos and Patriko in Lardos. There was a great cocktail bar over the road at St James hotel overlooking the beach
We took trips to Rhodes old town which was beautiful, Lindos on a couple of occasions to eat on the rooftops in the evening which was fab. Tambiko in St Paul’s bay was special, cool vibe with great views
In our second week we took a boat out with Yara Yachting which was amazing. Ask for Diego if you go
Anthe was always on hand to answer any questions and her family home is a wonderful place to stay for a summer holiday.

Absolutely stunning, the photos don't do it justice. Really is a place to 'Live the dream'.
Location perfect with Lindos only 10 minutes away on the bus.
Outdoor living space is wonderful, alongside the outdoor kitchen area and bar. Makes a special place even more special. Thanks to Anthe and family for a lovely welcome and holiday.

The pool is amazing large with steps in for the children. Everything you could wish for in an outside pool area has been thought of. Large kitchen area with bar stools. Outside kitchen with range, sink and fridge. Beautiful seating areas.
everything is high standard and the views are breathtaking. We could see goats and donkeys in the distance. Sea views whilst swimming. So many birds enjoying the surroundings too.
The name for the villa means dream and this has been a dream holiday for my family xxx

I’m one of these people that always reads reviews but never writes one . I’m 45 years of age and this is the first time I have felt compelled to write a review.
We returned from Oneiro Villa yesterday and we had the most wonderful time ! The villa and the outside space is beyond exceptional! The sleeping space was a huge plus for us; it slept the 5 of us very comfortably but could easily have slept more . Our 3 teenage boys loved the Turkish day bed in the lounge area which left 2 bedrooms upstairs free most nights. The kitchen was very well equipped and clean and we were welcomed with a huge bowl of fruit and some fridge essentials. The pool was a very good size and cleaned regularly whilst we were there. The outside cooking area was great and my husband thoroughly enjoyed making the most of this with a cold beer from the large outside fridge. There was also plenty of sun loungers and seating areas and generous amounts of shaded areas too. We finally found meat at the local butchers in Lardos, but the 3 local supermarkets, a 2 minute walk away, are well equipped to provide your daily essentials.
Within a few minutes walk, you are at the local beach which is home to a few fabulous bars/ restaurants. We particularly enjoyed Kanaloa restaurant/bar, part of James hotel, but open to everyone, which was located on the beach . The staff and food are just fabulous. Our sons also thoroughly enjoyed the water sports, again, a few minutes walk from the villa. We didn’t hire a car and instead used the local bus service which took us into Pefkos and Lardos within a few minutes, and was very reasonably priced. We particularly enjoyed Greek night on a Friday in Lardos village. Be sure to book a dinner table as it gets very busy. (Valentino’s or Roulas were great). There is also a free bus transfer available that took us to the water park in Faliraki, which was a great day out . The water park bus picked us up at 9am and collected us from the park at 5pm and took about an hour .
Finally, the owners of the Villa, Anthe and Jim, and their family, made us feel so very welcome and were on hand if we needed anything ! They completed this wonderful holiday for us. Thankyou both.
We really could not fault this villa in any way and we would absolutely return to this beautiful villa in a gorgeous part of Rhodes.

Wonderful property for family reunion
The villa was comfortable and offered relaxation after exploring the Island.
We were all happy and enjoyed the pool and proximity to the beach . Cleaning had been offered in the description and once I requested this service it became available . I enjoyed this oasis.

Having lost my dad last year we decided to treat ourselves this year - and we were not disappointed. 😄 An amazing villa, beautifully maintained, clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The pool and areas outside were just perfect. ❤️ On arrival the fridge was packed with water and essentials and a lovely platter of fresh fruit all ready for us. The owners mom popped along to see if we had everything we needed. They arranged airport transfers with George. I quite honestly can’t fault the villa, the surroundings, it was perfectly placed - an amazing holiday and we will definitely be going back ! Can’t recommend this highly enough to. Treat yourselves you won’t be disappointed 😄😄 😎😎

Paradise! We had an unforgettable vacation! Can't wait to go back!
This home was extremely clean! Everything seemed new. Anthe and her family were on call 24/7 if we needed anything. All the information she sent us to customize our trip was excellent. We got to see the best of Rhodes and eat at the best places as well. The pool was just put in and was perfect for morning and evening swims while sipping on our wine. The kids had a blast and loved heading down to the St. James hotel for brunch. In the morning we helped ourselves to figs and grapes and other fabulous fruit. Thank you Anthe and especially your family. You are true hosts. See you again next year!

Lovely spacious , light and airy, modern villa
Had a lovely family holiday staying at this villa. Beautiful villa with tasteful furnishings. Well equipped. Good air con and comfy beds. The hotel with pool is only a short walk away. The hotel staff were so friendly and welcoming . We would definitely return.

The property was beautifully furnished and presented and was spotlessly clean. Everything described in the listing was there and the notes provided by the owner were really helpful on where to visit and suggestions on where to eat etc. Our favourite restaurant was Valentinas in Lardos where the standard was much higher than anywhere else we ate with very friendly staff. We hired a car for the fortnight but you could easily be there for a weeks stay without one if happy to walk to nearby shops/ restaurants and use the local buses or taxis. The bedlinen was not changed every 3 days as suggested in the listing but was offered after wed been there a week, but wed changed the sheets ourselves as there was a good supply of bedlinen and towels, so not really a problem. The pool at nearby St James Hotel was also spotlessly clean and the beach bar very good value with delicious food on the menu. We had a very relaxing time here and would definitely recommend this stunning property and beautiful location as one of the best weve stayed in.

Trip of a life time!
I spent a month in this beautiful home and loved every minute! At one point there was 7 of us and we had plenty of room. This home is spacious, modern, and beautifully decorated. On arrival it was spotlessly clean. The veranda was a favorite spot for coffee in the morning with a spectacular view of the Agean. A few minutes walk and you were at the St. James hotel where you can enjoy the pool or sit on the beach where there are plenty of lounges. The pool side restaurant has great food and service. They do a Greek night once a week with great entertainment. There is a grocery store across the street if you want to spend a quiet evening in. The kitchen was all you could want and fully equipped to eat in. I must say though, we spent quite a few nights in Lardos, a village 5 minutes away at Valentinas, a restaurant you have to go to! The food and the staff are top notch and we were never disappointed! We found we were located within walking distance to anything we needed but we could also jump on a tour bus and see any of the many sights on the island. We rented a car several times and drove the beautiful coast line to many of the attractions. Bicycles were available to rent and we enjoyed riding to the near by villages. This truly was the trip of a life time. Greece is stunning and this home was all we were hoping for and much, much more!

Bliss on the Rhodes less traveled
This is a stunning property on a quiet stretch in Lardos. The house is spacious and modern with tons of light and all the amenities. Waking up to that view of crystalline Aegean water was a treat I savored every morning and we spent a hours on that lovely veranda, lounging by day and watching the stars at night. Out back we watched the goats make their way through the mountains as we sipped our Greek coffee. Delightful!
The open floor plan in the house made it very great house for chilling after a busy day. Everyone (for part of the time we were seven people from 3 generations) could find a cool and cozy spot to read books, play games, watch the World Cup or just nap.
The location is ideal, close enough to the beach and the action, but removed enough to be a tranquil oasis. There's a grocery just across the street, walking distance to some shops and restaurants, and the rental property comes with access to all of the amenities at the St. James Hotel, just a few steps away on a path lined with pomegranate, lime, fig and olive trees. St. James has a great pool and poolside restaurant with a warm and helpful staff and a pool table and air hockey table that my kids enjoyed daily. Don't miss their Greek night!
Lardos is also in an ideal location. You are five minutes from the shops, restaurants and beaches of Pefkos. Forty-five minutes in one direction takes you to Rhodes Town and in the other you're in Prassonisi, where the Aegean and Mediterranean greet each other by a narrow strip of beach (pretty amazing). Just a 10-15 drive to the breathtaking St. Paul's Bay and Lindos - don't miss it! We did some incredible day trips from this central location and were always happy to return to our comfortable house. And, of course, if you're just looking to veg on the beach, take the beautiful, fruit tree-lined path to the St. James Beach. A lounge awaits.
We spent our first couple of nights in Rhodes Town. This was much better. Access to everything, but your own corner of paradise.

THE HONEYMOON OF MY DREAMS
My husband and I chose the Greek island as a destination to our honeymoon and we went to Rhodes. We had an amazing honeymoon. Beside of the natural beauty of the island, we had to luck of being at the Angelides' house. The house is so perfect, clean, charming, have all the kitchen and chef's tools and everything is new. The atmosphere is so great, excellent location in a great neighborhood and walking distance to the beach. There is a bus stop close to the house in case if you need a public transportation. We enjoyed having Greek food at the Jame's hotel, also a walking distance from the house.
I am so glad that I was able to stay in this beautiful house, and it made my honeymoon a special one, for sure!
Highly recommended and two thumbs up!
