Hospitality, food, location, excellent owners.

The apartment was lovely. Very roomy for a mom and two older children. The kitchen was fully functional with a two burner stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. Nespresso machine and kettle were huge pluses. Host Aly and family were so helpful, lovely people. Aly’s breakfasts are amazing! Absolutely delicious. We also had dinner there two nights - delicious! The pool was perfect on a warm summer afternoon.

We specifically came to Dalen on purpose. The rural nature of this property may not be what some are seeking. I found it to be peaceful, and very relaxing.

We wanted to relax, eat good food, and walk around the area a bit. The B&B was perfect for that. We had a nice comfy room with a nice bed and a clean bathroom, a beautiful garden with a nice swimming pool, the host really spoiled us and was very accommodating. Breakfast was delecious and very abundant. Dinner was also spot on. We also took a wonderful cooking workshop which was useful and fun, full of great tips. The location is great for going around Dalen, De Hondsrug...

Spacious, clean and comfortable. Friendly folk and really good food. Pleasant, quiet but convenient location.

the internet/tv connection was down. But this was not Aly's fault. there was a major problem for the provider in the entire surrounding area.

We returned with great expectations and Aly did it again. She went beyond what was expected from our side. I'm running out of words to describe how much you felt at home. And the breakfast... Amazing, again... For sure a place to return.
