Wouldn’t stay there again

Location Spacious size of room Seperate bedroom for kids

Service at reception was average Tv didn’t work Toaster was filthy with previous guests food stuck on inside Couldn’t get to bbq as gate was locked Kids play equipment wasn’t accessible as didn’t meet safety standards Front porch area not useable as table was dirty and ground covered in debris from tree

Great motel.

Big room with veranda access, two bedrooms and comfy beds. Wonderful staff and great location

Sofa in the lounge area pretty old and needs a replacement

Chose this place because it was close to the venue we were going to visit that night.

Did not have breakfast. The staff were helpful and the bed was very comfortable.

We paid extra for the spa room which we didn't use as I was worried about the cleanliness. When we removed the towels there was a a large crack with crumbling plaster in the wall and the plumbing for the wash basin was patched up crudely. There was only the basin , no cupboard, no bench top, no extra room to put cosmetics while using the mirror. The cleanliness of the whole apartment was only so-so. There were cobwebs and collected dust on the window sill.

We came, we stayed and will never stay or recommend.

Checkout service. Ladies talking in office. One ladies said just drop the key on the bench. Beds were low, old and so bouncy. Hot water scolded me, the temperature was way above 55deg which is above Australian regulation. TV did not allow all to view chanel 7 at all.

Clean, comfortable, Great location.

Good value for money, rooms were clean and had a functional layout. WIFI was great (has recently been upgraded)

More pillows would have been a bonus but I’m sure the guy at reception would have got me sone if I’d asked. He was very helpful.

Convenient location and friendly staff

The bed was comfortable and the room was large and it was nice to have proper milk for our cup of teas. The cafe was a great spot for a coffee and breakfast and the staff were friendly and efficient.

Well… next time we may ask for a room just a bit further away from the main road and not next to the kitchen (although the yummy cooking smells did entice us down to the cafe early). 😉

Very enjoyable and would book this venue again

Excellent room that had been recently refurbished. Had reverse cycle AC that was not highlighted in their online website which was a bonus.

Our room location was next door to the laundry area so some noise coming through to the room but to be fair not after 19:00 hrs.

Goolwa Motel

Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Great beds. The manager, TJ was very courteous and helpful.

Despite the time of year, I thought $285 was too much for a pretty basic room.

Extremely noisy. Expect to be woken up at 5am if you are in a family room.
