It was ok as overnight stop but little isolated from shops if not with car

The accommodation was lovely and good value for money, host was easy to contact and gave clear instructions on how to collect keys and enter property.

There were good self catering facilities but we did not use them as we could not find any shops close by and within reasonable walking distance. The main road on which we walked from the airport was further than we thought and the road was particularly busy and unsafe for pedestrians as there was no footpath. It would have been good to know if there was an alternative safe way to walk from the airport and if any shops were closer than back at the airport.

Perfect for a one night stay

For a one night stay, this property is perfect. Really clean, comfortable, excellently located near the airport without feeling like you’re staying near to an airport. We walked from the airport (15min) after an evening flight. The house is easy to find, super clear instructions given and a great host communication. Excellent value for money. Lovely little taverna (Avra) within 4-5min walk away. Would happily recommend.

An extra pillow would have been ideal.

Comfortable and clean studio, well equipped kitchen. Cleaning every day. Perfect room temperature, it was not necessary to be used air conditioner.

Lovely stay

Lovely place to stay, very clean, beautiful views. A cleaner came in once a day and cleaned the beds and kitchen area which was very helpful! Would highly recommend

The location is a bit out of the way but that’s definitely not a reason so not stay there. The room is a bit smaller than we thought but still lovely.

Very good

Such a cute place and literally 3 mins drive from airport. the rooms were clean and decor was so simple and tasteful. parking was right infront too. the host was very nice and WhatsApp-ed really quickly. we arrived around 10pm and he still helped us with remote check in.

all was good. they even have electric charging station for electric car.

Clean and well equipped studio close to the airport.

We stayed at Casa Buganvilla for our first night on the island as it is conveniently located close to the airport. There were great sunset views from the balcony (and even better from a nearby beach). I was really impressed with how clean the room was and how it had been thoughtfully and tastefully renovated. Communication with Dimitris was easy via whatsapp and the lockbox to retrieve the key worked well.

Our room (mountain view) is located on the roadside so you do hear some traffic noise. We knew this when booking and as it was a one-night stay it didn't bother us too much.

Wonderful

Very nice accommodation, super clean and close to the center of Argostoli. I guess that there’s no better ratio of quality / price than Casa Buganvilla’s. I strongly recommend to stay here if you want to visit the south part of the island.

Really clean, comfortable and Dimitris was very helpful.

The rooms were clean and well equipped(with A/C). However the best thing was Dimitris the owner, he was extremely helpful and really made our stay.

There are no frills and whilst a good nearby taverna you would need a car for a supermarket run or anything for breakfast.

Would definitely visit again

We (family of 4) lived in a quiet and perfectly equipped apartment (approx. 35m2), recently renovated, at a key location near the airport, that allows you to visit the entire island by car (parking available outside the facility). Its a 10' drive to Argostoli and a 5' drive to the nearby beaches - which are amazing. Super-clean room; that gets cleaned daily by the polite staff, with all the kitchenette we needed to make our breakfast - incl. an espresso machine. Dimitris was a wonderful host, had already provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Even our first bottle of cold water and a bottle of local wine as welcome drink. Thank you Dimitris, we would definitely visit again.

Great location

We stayed in 3 different rooms as a group of friends and all of them were roomy and clean. Our room had a small kitchen and a dinner table. The bed was large and comfortable. Although we were close to the road, it was silent. We gathered and left our keys contactless, all details were provided digitally. It was also only 5 minutes distance to the airport and to a very nice beach. So it was perfect for our first day after landing.

The host is very friendly! The rooms have the perfect size, are very clean, very comfortable, contain everything needed for the stay and all together are very cheap compared to other appartments in Kefalonia (with same size, etc.)

Very friendly hotel near airport especially if you're arriving late

This hotel is very close to the airport on the road to Argostoli, but far enough away to feel tranquil. We arrived after 9pm on a Friday evening. Dimitris was the best host ever, helping with our suitcases, giving advice about dinner options (there is a lovely taverna within five minutes' walk that was still open late). Communication before our arrival was great. Definitively recommended.

Lovely stay at Casa Buganvilla

Lovely apartment, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Nice quiet location, 10 minutes walk from the beach and a few minutes walk from a lovely traditional Greek taverna. Dimitris is a very friendly and welcoming host, nothing is too much trouble. We only stayed here for one night before heading to the airport the next day but wouldn’t hesitate to return.

wonderful stay in a beautiful location

nice clean room with everything that you need for your stay wonderful friendly staff we arrived early but was allowed in room which was great air conditioning was fantastic shower brilliant with good pressure we met the owner who was really friendly and helpful would definitely recommend this place to friends and family Thankyou.

Ideal for one or two nights!

The room and bathroom were very clean and there was both air conditioning in the room and a mosquito net on the balcony. We didn't meet Dimitris in person, but he was extremely helpful to us and gave us all information we needed via Whatsapp. He even allowed us to have a late check out, which we were very grateful for. The nearest restaurant is also very nice for dinner, but beware - they weren't open for breakfast as advertised (possibly due to low tourism during COVID). There are no supermarkets within walking distance, so make sure you have some food with you if like us, you don't have a car. We also discovered a 'secret beach' about a 15-minute walk from the accommodation, which was amazing. Overall I can only highly recommend Dimitris' place - thank you Dimitris!
