The views..the location..the size of the apartment.... the two bathrooms.
A washing machine and iron would have been handy.

The location is perfect and the view from outside our room on the terrace was amazing. You could also walk everywhere which was fantastic so location I could not fault. Also Cara the lady to whom I had been in touch with about this property did meet us in Sorrento and drive us to our location which was very nice of her.
The room which we stayed in was very disappointing. We stayed in a double room for two people. Although we were met upon arrival and given our keys there is no actual reception to these suites so you may not see anyone else again. The room was very old and dated. There was a small side alcove closet which to hang your clothes up. The bathroom was very small and old. The toilet made lots of noise when you flushed it and the sink kept filling up when you used it. There was also a very old washing machine in the bathroom area. For the price we paid to stay here the room itself was very poor and would not rebook or recommend to friends. Although this review about the room is not good. We did have a wonderful time in Sorrento just enjoyed the sights of this truly wonderful city but spent as little time in our room as possible.

Exceptional location, views over the water and quick access to shops and restaurants. Grand villa with beautiful outdoor space, a large communal terrace and pool. Close to ferries and beach clubs.
No concierge/reception. Wifi didn’t work inside our room. Pool wasn’t filtering to keep clean in final days of our stay.

The staff is very friendly and the views are beautiful
regarding the room "great hotel" we have some comments: 1. no hot water 2. The refrigerator and the coffee maker do not work and there is no light in that area of the room. 3. There are 2 specific pillows that have a very unpleasant smell, we had to remove them from the bed. 4 the room is generally very dark 5. The room in general is too humid, so it smells very musty and you can feel it in the bed too. definitely needs ventilation.

Location
Gated community difficult to navigate and access at start. Then one key for whole family to use at gate so your often locked out . Shower was very mouldy. Difficult to find staff anywhere and contact number no one answers

The only redeeming feature of this property was the view from the front ( not our room)
In order to access this view guests had to walk across very slippery tiles. There were warnings everywhere.
This was a complete misrepresentation by the absent owner in terms of the services provided. Non existent air conditioning. Refusal to change the towels or fix a toilet seat that slid from side to side. No natural ventilation and a pool that was so hot it was impossible to even contemplate swimming. The worst part was the failure of the owner to even respond to our concerns. We were left with no solution but to leave after 2 days. The worst accomodation of our 3 weeks in Italy.

It's like a real villa, didn't get the room we thought we would. It was damaged in the windy storm, did get a very nice room and still had a view
Strange check in procedure, never met anyone. The place was open and we got the key inside. Did have parking. The pool was closed

Great view and location. Bed was comfy. Close to shops and restaurants, lovely building
There is no view from room we were in which we were led to believe it had a sea view with terrace. Off season, everything shut down, no pool, breakfast was a coffee and croissant at a lovely coffee shop around the corner rather than in the apartment building,

The host was inviting and treated us so kindly!

My God, what a view from this amazing terrace. I felt like we were in a movie set & James Bond would come running around the corner at any second. Staff were very sweet and the apartment was cleaned daily during our stay. The high ceilings & stained glass window were beautiful. Fantastic restaurant just a few doors up.
Breakfast was listed on the description, but there wasn't any. Maybe they only provide it during the summer months? Unfortunately not every room has a Sea View but the view from the terrace is breathtaking 😍

The location was good
The host was very rude to us, told us to call him 20 minutes before arriving and we did, but after we arrived at the property, he was not there. We waited outside of the gate for a little bit and we had to call him again because the gate to the apartment was closed, the property’s located on a busy street and we literally just blocked the entrance.Thank goddess there was a resident happening to be there and opened the gate for us with his remote. We got in and the host was still nowhere to be found. We called him again and again because we didn’t know where our apartment was and it was already passed 4pm. Eventually we got contacted with the host , finally we got into the apartment ( the host never showed up, the whole time he told us he would be there in one minute but it was all lies). The apartment was outdated, filthy, ants everywhere. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience staying here, we felt we were not welcome, will not come back here anymore

My wife and I had originally booked a different place for our couple of nights in Sorrento for our honeymoon. We did not like the original accommodations, so I booked this place last minute that night. We met Andrea outside of the hotel and he ended up upgrading our accommodations to the two bedroom suite with an amazing view of the bay. The room exceeded out expectations and the Andrea and the staff were extremely helpful the whole stay. Anytime I had a question about the area he would swing down and give me helpful advice as well as friendly conversation. We were extremely grateful for the upgrade of the room and thought the location as well as the accommodations were amazing. We couldn't have found a better place to spend our nights in Sorrento. We will definitely be back!
Only thing that could have been better was the weather. But in all honestly we had no complaints.

Great location. STUNNING building and view. Bed was great! Very helpful + friendly host!
We visited during off season. Room was clean however shower was dirty. Didn’t realise the pool was also closed.

The view is exceptional
The owner tried to make us take a smaller apartment (considerably less expensive than the one we had booked and paid in advance for) and made a fuss when we refused. And made us wait nearly 2 hours before he finally let us in to the apartment we had booked (because he said we’d turned up early - even though they had agreed our arrival time that very morning).

Millionaire's view from the cliff top across the bay to Vesuvius. The location was perfect, with a short walk to Sorrento Town restaurants and shops. Easy access to the old port, provided you are fit enough for the return climb! The pool and terrace were pretty much left for us to enjoy exclusively to ourselves as only a few other couples/ families sharing. The owner and staff were really friendly and helpful, answering questions and dealing quickly with any small issues we had.
The only small negative I could mention was that the bathroom (shower in particular) and kitchen facilities would benefit from updating. However, we were aware of this from other reviews before going and so in line with expectations. The kitchen was more than adequate for our simple self-catering lunches, but we dined out most evenings. The Millionaire's view more than made up for any minor negatives.

Beautiful location looking over the sea. Short walk to the port, restaurants and shops. Great service, Andrea went above and beyond to help us.

It is a beautiful old villa with a wonderful view terrace overlooking the waterfront and harbor. The room was dated and at the terrace level but quite comfortable. We met the owner and he is clearly working on updating and maintaining the property. While we did not stay in the room we reserved, we accepted the offer of this room with its better access to the main terrace. The wifi though did not work in the room but did on the terrace. A mesh system rather than extenders would work well here. We liked seeing some very old family photos on the wall. The location was excellent for uptown and going down to the waterfront. Also, need to coordinate getting out if you have a car or bike - the shop owner across the street isn't always available to open the gate for you.
Getting into the property was challenging. We let our host know when we would arrive but traffic noise made it difficult to understand the directions when we called while standing at the gate. Fortunately another couple came through and let us in. Then it was a simple matter to call again and be directed to the room. The booking.com directions about entry do not clearly state there isn't an on site reception and you absolutely must call to coordinate with the host. Clearly not all guests checked or can check their email for messages from the host and a few others had problems getting in.

asked for 3 bedrooms but initially were only given 2.

Host was rude and during a serious conversation over a deposit paid in advance, he chose to take a phone call, basically dismissing me. Previous to visit the host and administrative assistant would not answer our emails, texts or phone calls. The pool was green with algae. On our first night, the outside common area was rented out to students who held a party with loud music and lights well into the night. Owner told us that we probably shouldn’t use our kitchen (really?) and to keep lights out. The area leading to our suite was unlit, musty and a storage area for furniture and other items. Basically on top of losing a deposit of €700 which turned out not to be much of a surprise as the host has a long and questionable reputation with the locals in the area, he lied about the availability of the suite we had previously arranged to book.

Amazing stay, it was an amazing property with the best view in Sorrento. We did not want to leave to see the rest of the city because of the view. Andrea was super friendly, he suggested a vist to Capri which was great. He also shared the history of the house which was very informative. He over supplied us with coffee which was appriciated. What a great introduction to Sorrento. We will be back. The place was great and Andrea made it really great!
The stay was really nice, we cannot think of anything to improve here.

Very comfortable bed - location excellent
Place was misrepresented. Room was much smaller than expected. No sitting area just a bedroom and tiny kitchen. No paper towels so don't spill anything. Tea kettle has a huge amount of mineral lime build up; didn't use it. Unplugged fridge had water inside from freezer melting had to use bathroom hand towel to sop up. Shower has mold on walls and the shower head is so old and clogged 1/3 of the nozzles don't spray. You get 3 rolls of toilet paper for 3 days for 2 people. Pace your usage. Needed 1 load of laundry done 10 euros they left the wet clothes in a plastic bag!!!! I had to drape them everywhere to dry! The pool was a pond unusable and the photo's are deceiving. Half of the space is part of a private residence and blocked off. For the money we expected much more. I could have stayed at a top hotel with room service, restaurant, some have a nice pool for what we were charged. We travel to Sorrento every yr 1st time we chose not to stay at a hotel because we wanted something quiet and romantic as it was our anniversary.

Location, views from the shared terrace. Quiet.
The apartment was nothing like we thought we had booked. No sitting area, no sea view.

The view from the pool is great, location is great.
The pictures were extremely misleading, we felt like we were scammed into purchasing a room with much lower standard that we were expecting. There was no living area and the bedroom, which was located under staircase was tiny and depressing. No windows and a door leading to the next room (which wasn't locked). When we told the property manager, his excuse for the price was that we were at the "historical centre of sorrento" (which for me just felt like an excuse he gives to whoever is not satisfied). The staff walks into your room without knocking (they walked into my girlfriend while she was getting changed) absolutely ridiculous. What was supposed to be an amazing, romantic anniversary trip turned into this stressy and disappointing experience.
There are plenty other hotels around the area which are 1000x better and half the price.
