Clean. Smart. High standard. Very close to fantastic beach with distant views across to Holy Island and Bamburgh castle.
N/a although slightly longer walk into Berwick itself than we expected.

Perfect location for us - very quiet but just 100 yards from the promenade

Quiet street with parking close to the beach and walking distance of Berwick
Not much to do in Spittal itself (no decent pubs /restaurants) but easy to walk into Berwick

Self catering, but a lovely welcome pack of a few goodies when we arrived - very thoughtful and much appreciated. For us - my partner and our Basset - the cottage was perfect and just a very short stroll from a lovely beach. The cottage was clean and superbly comfortable - all on one level. I would recommend to anyone who just wants a quiet location within an environment to decompress - just what we all needed.

There was nothing not to like. We had everything we needed to have a wonder comfortable stay. The apartment was right near the beach. We were able to stay with our dog. The bathroom had a great shower and bath, the bed was comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped and appliances easy to use.
Apartment is close to other areas to visit and Berwick upon Tweed a lovely town to visit.
Would of been nice to have access to the yard at back of the apartment via the apartment, not having to walk around the outside in the street.
Having to strip the beds and bag it up at end of stay especially when you have to leave by 10am. Have never had to do this anywhere we have stayed before. This however, would not stop us recommending it or us staying again.

This probably the closest to the beach we’ve ever stayed, it was fabulous for us and our little dog. Lovely and clean. Great shower. Comfy bed. Parking outside. Nice touches inside like welcome box. Nice walks straight from the door.

very clean , well equipped and good communication from owner . October weather didn’t allow us much use of outside area . Great for beach walks with our dog
Location was a pleasant walk into Berwick along beach and quayside for food and drink but limited more locally

Great location - near beach and great base for exploring Northumberland coast.
No back door to garden.

It was self-catering and the beach was five minutes away.
very clean, small shop across the road
The last bus to catch was before 7:pm. If you miss it you have to take a taxi or walk which is not convenient.

Nice little property - great location, no trouble parking outside, easy no-contact access, clean and tidy, decent facilities.
There isn’t really anything I didn’t like about the property, everything was good.

The cosiness of the place was lovely, for 2 and a wee dog it was just the right size. The entrance way was lovely, welcoming and a great size to get everyone over the threshold at once on a rainy day. The proximity to the beach is fabulous.
Both internally and externally the property desperately needs some love. The kitchen was not very well equipped, there were no scissors, cheap unmatched crockery, only 3 main plates and not enough crockery for more than one meal, which means its didn't warrant putting the dishwasher on. We could not read the dial on the cooker so couldn't cook in the best way as we were guessing and could not find any instructions. The bed was not very comfortable and the bedding was very old and worn. The bedroom could do with a refresh of furniture and lighting as it was very dark due to the limited light.
There were disposable gloves left in the bedroom following a clean. Outside, the yard that belongs to the property was not usable, in fact it was dangerous for anyone to step in it as there were lots of old wood piled up and the fence to the next property had fallen over so no where for our dog to be secure and it was an eye sore from the only window you could see out of. We could not find anywhere within walking distance for an evening meal so ended up at the supermarket for food to cook. This place could be awesome with some attention, I feel the price we paid was way above premium for what we got.

Keys were in a lock box outside so arrival was easy. Parking just outside. Welcome breakfast hamper. Great facilities - all mod cons... access to Netflix etc with smart TV if needed. FREE WiFI. Our dog was made to feel welcome with treats, towel and ball available. Lovely vibe to cottage, have booked again.
There was nothing not to like. A lovely quiet place to stay.

Lovely little hamper to set you up before you could get to the shops ....everything was clearly explained...t.v's etc;..had no problem sorting out the cooker or the washer...fantastic position right near the lovely beach..and very handy for the local shop and pubs ..Berwick upon Tweed is literally a few minutes drive..as are many of the places you may like to visit..all in all a lovely stay ..looking forward to going again in the spring ...
Nothing to dislike really...
