The atmosphere. It is the best thing to experience while staying here. The guests, the history, the smell, the furniture, the architecture, the wood stove, the remoteness of the place, the fruits, the stones and many more. This is not the place for common travelers, but for the ones looking for a living museum of for those childhood memories reminding of countryside, grandparents, and the smell of youth (for those born pre 90's :p)
Even though everything fits in the movie like scenography, some things need care, like the wood stove's door not being in place, or some electrical sockets that need some care.

Very old traditional house ,200 years Gencho the owner told me ,,it is really off the beaten track,so very peaceful here ,WiFi was good ,rooms basic ,but we'll worth the effort to find it.very good value.
Very hard to find ,,small road, needs a sign at the entrance,,I had a nice breakfast of local honey ,jam and yogurt and toast, But please remember, no shops here ,so bring some provisions just in case

The hosts were very friendly , polite and accommodating . The property is beautiful, located in a very quiet area.
There were a lot of mosquitos, spiders and bugs in the rooms. The shared kitchen definitely needs to be cleaned as its filthy . For the money you pay it's good.

- Amazing, heart-warming and open-minded hosts who are always ready to give some recommendations about the region. They also offered us homemade rakija and gave a huge bundle of grapes from their garden - those were the most delicious grapes we have ever eaten in our lives!
- The house is like a museum! It is very beautiful and there are a lot of little details you could stare at for the whole day; there are also a bunch of pets, dogs and cats you can play with in the yard
- The stay is a bit in the outskirts but very close to the main points of interest in the region, it is a great place to stay if you are tired of big cities and soulless hotels
- A nice breakfast is available for 5 lev per person

Fantastic friendly hosts and a stunning location in this 200 year old guest house.....the Bulgarian language is a difficult one to learn......but we managed to communicate in various ways.....we loved our stay here and would certainly recommend it to others
As uk travellers we were unaware of the extra facilities to use a small kitchen to cook and make coffee which would have made our 11day stay a little easier......because this is the way things are done in Bulgaria you bring your own food etc.......we did not know this until a Bulgarian family stayed at the end of our stay and invited us to eat.....they come prepared with everything they needed.
