This is a perfect, tranquil home base for exploring the beautiful Cinque Terra

We stayed at this property as a home base for a day trip to cinque terre. This was perfect in terms of location. Easy to walk around La Spezia and take in more local sites. The property was beautiful and clean. Elisa was extremely accommodating and super easy to reach. She met us at the property to greet us and show us around and answer any questions. I would absolutely recommend this property.

Really lovely apartment to stay in. Lots of steps. But worth it. Really enjoyed our time in this beautiful apartment with amazing views. Many thanks to proprietor.

Four “60 something “ adults spent 3 wonderful nights at Casa di Elisa.
It was bright , spacious and clean with all the necessary amenities, yet still you could sense a loving family history. We were able to cook our meals in the fully stocked kitchen and dine al fresco on the patio. We made fresh lemonade from the lemons Elisa had picked off the tree in the yard!
The view out the bedroom windows with the sound of the church bells ringing was memorable .
We walked the Cinque Terre trail for two days and the experience and views were spectacular.
Walking up the many stairs from the train station to home was challenging but manageable after a long day .
It would be nice to have a wifi connection on the patio but otherwise, close to perfect .
Thank you for sharing your space.

We thought the location of Elisa's home was perfect - easy access to everything and away from the crowds (large even in late May). The house was clean, comfortable and welcoming. The host left information pamphlets, books and games. We had a wonderful stay and would be happy to stay again!

Comfortable, quiet, good facilities, great character. Loved getting to know La Spezia - markets, churches, museum, boats, friendly people. Lovely caring hosts who went out of their way to help. Thank you. Loved the quieter Bay of Poets after the overcrowded cinque Terre.

We had the most amazing stay at La Casa di Elisa. Elisa and her mother Sylvia were incredibly friendly and helpful; they made the check in and out processes easy and smooth and gave us some wonderful recommendations. We were very comfortable and had no problems navigating this beautiful little port town.

WOW! What a beautiful apartment. Our family of 5 (3 teens) were all comfortable. The views were amazing from the bedrooms! You can tell they love this apartment and keep it in such beautiful condition. The apartment had all that we needed and more.
There are many stairs as this apartment is up on the hill. The views make all of the exercise worth it!
We were close (10 minute walk) to the train station for all of our Cinque Terre adventures. ** Be SURE to get a train schedule at the train station and hold onto it. It was a lifesaver when we were in each of the 5 cities. We knew when to head to the station to avoid wasting precious holiday time. By recommendation of our lovely hostess, we also explored Porto Venere (via taxi there and water taxi on the way back). WORTH GOING! We loved it and wish we had time to go over to the little natural island to explore more.
We were also 5-10 minute walk to the city center where there are MANY restaurants. Our hostess has a book in the foyer with many recommendations. We didn't find a grocery store nearby, but we did find a Coop about 15 minutes (walking) away to get food for breakfast, etc.
I would plan to park and leave your car the whole time you are in the area. You can buy a train pass good for several days online.
Overall, we loved this apartment and hope that some day we can come back to visit the area!

The apartment is beautiful with hardwood floors, a dine-in kitchen, and a stunning view of town.
That view comes at a cost of 82 stairs from the front gate to the front door. There are 260 stairs from the train station.
Don't skip leg day.

The apartment is just stunning with beautiful views of the city. Lots of good information in the tip book that was provided. Great time in Cinque Terre and easy access to the train station and downtown area by foot. There are a fair number of stairs to get to the apartment but I wouldn’t let that deter you unless you are physically challenged otherwise the climb is so worth it. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here.

This apartment was the perfect break from hotels on our Italy trip. After long days of sightseeing activities (and a trek up the stairs), I always looked forward to the relaxing atmosphere and wonderful air conditioning.

Stayed over in La Spezia with 3 people visiting CT & Porto Venere on a day trip. Home is very central, within easy walking distance of train station and central shopping. Rental well appointed with large bedrooms with views over the city, kitchen and outdoor patio. Will defintely stay here again on our next visit to Liguria!

This was one of the nicest accommodations I have experienced with Homeaway in over 20 years. The owners were fantastic and the place was perfect.

Nice place with helpful hostess. Clean and orderly. Location allows easy access to trains to visit Cinque Terre and other locations. Quiet , residential street. Only drawback is many steps to reach the unit.

I had high hopes and my expectations were exceeded. This is a lovely property with lots of character and lovely views across the town. It's been very nicely redecorated and the owner has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
We're a young fit family so the stairs up to the property were no problem at all and were worth it for the view however I'd warn older folk that it's a bit of a workout from the town.

This property is managed extremely well. It is just as the pictures show and comfortable. The train station to Cinque Terre, food and shops are walking distance. No need for a rental car in this port city.
