Y revenir bien sûr

L’accueil du personnel C’est la première fois que l’on nous demande de prendre notre compagnon à 4 pattes avec nous on restaurant ou une table nous avait été réservée exprès en retrait Et le restaurant est excellent

Juste dommage que cet hôtel soit coincé entre une ligne de chemin de fer et une zone industrielle Mais on s’y fait …:et la rivière amène du frais

Séjour très agréable

La maison du Prussien a su conserver le charme de l'ancien tout en assurant le confort pour ses hôtes. Les chambres sont grandes et très bien aménagées. Personnel accueillant. Très bon petit-déjeuner. L'hôtel fournit une carte de bus gratuite. La ligne 101 est à cinq minutes à pied. Elle permet de rejoindre le centre-ville en quelques minutes. Très pratique.

We payed for water! This should be a standard to have free water in the room and also in a 5* Restaurant as loong as it is not sparkling water.

Superb

Quiet, charming, old fashion hotel. Room was spacious, no air con but nice temperature at night, enjoying the fresh air coming from the small wood surrounding the property. 20/25 minutes walking distance from the Collegiale and City centre. Breakfast and wifi were good. The young lady working at the reception has been very helpful with my requests and sorting out a few small problems in my room. Particularly appreciated the free bus pass and vouchers provided for museums and lake cruise as everything is so expensive in Switzerland.

The staff are so nice and the location is so unexpected! Like a hideaway, you dont feel in the city at all. Beautiful rooms!

The room definitely needs a fan in the summer heat. It was very, very hot. We could open the windows but then we heard the train going by. This was the only negative and we would definitely come and stay again.

Another great stay in this cozy hotel My room has been upgraded again and I do appreciate it. Great atmosphere, great facilities. I am looking forward to my next stay :)

Great value for a unique stay in Neuchatel!

Large, clean room in beautiful historic building. Grounds were spectacular with an old mill and walking trails right behind. Breakfast was included and delicious. Restaurant on site was also amazing. Quiet and beautiful grounds.

Not in walking distance to downtown Neuchatel. A bit tricky to find at first.

Hidden gem in Neuchatel

Multiple times staying in this hotel when going to the office. To my surprise I got upgrade this time to room nr4 which turned out to be beautiful and spacious room with big bath. Its a nice and cozy place, good breakfast, friendly stuff. Well-equipped bathroom with all thats needed. Walking distance to city center of Neuchatel. I will stay again :) Free parking outside is a huge bonus.

quirky hotel/room - had a room at the back with sound of the water which we found soothing comfortable bed/great shower free parking on site friendly staff

no tea/coffee making facilities in the room location isn’t in keeping with ambience of the hotel lack of places to eat within reasonable distance pricey for what you get - but it is Switzerland I guess

Wonderful place to stay

Absolutely sensational as you would expect for the cost. Located in an old mill right beside a river, all the old workings are exposed to look at. Amazing food from the restaurant and fabulous breakfast

far , expensive and not for light sleepers

not a place to have a good night sleep (thin walls) no blackout curtains- hard to sleep in such bright light far from downtown Hot room no AC difficult walk to downtown (not scenic , no curb) isolated location ( stranded if you want to eat) 45chf for 6 pieces of cheese and bread in the room no possibility to book without breakfast mediocre breakfast staff woke me up by calling the room they don’t tell you about the free transport pass Don’t stay there if you don’t have a car fluorescent light in the room too harsh electric plugs disconnect sometimes

Very charming and clean hotel with friendly staff

Very charming hotel with nice breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and modern bathroom.

Wifi did often not reach 2nd floor, the beds were hard and the sound from the indeed very charming river did become enoying after a while (we hade open windows due to the weather).

great stay unusual location pricey food

oasis in a built up area … pleasant surprise when we arrived. stunning waterwheel and waterfalls. clean comfy rooms. friendly staff. good value for rooms.

we had taster menu which was good but very pricey and some taste combos not quite to our liking … pairing wines were good too but would have like more explanation about what they were and why.. probably our fault for not speaking French.

An excellent choice in Neuchatel.

Breakfast, nature and the personnel were excellent. It was really impressive how polite and helpful were all of them at any request we had. The restaurant was also excellent but it is very expensive. I would like to have the option for some plates in better prices (even more comfort food) in order to enjoy more meals as a guest of the hotel.

The windows need to be refurbished. It was not easy to open them or to leave them open with a protection for the night in order to enjoy the fresh air of the place. Generally some furniture need to be replaced or refurbished.

Nice 700 year old building, remodeled well. Staff was excellent, food was good.

Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, if pricey. Staff is well trained and it shows; menu was only in French to a little hard to navigate.

Only time ever that my restaurant tab was higher than the room rent. Food was great but pricey. Location precluded having dinner elsewhere.

lovely hotel but not the best location. would probably stay more central next time

interesting building and very helpful staff. but location is quite far out of the centre of town in the middle of a complicated road system. obviously has a good restaurant but it was closed when we stayed so we needed a taxi into town.
