The hosts are nice people, but they hardly speak any other language exept croatian.
The beach is very close. The balcony is large and shaded.
Basic outfit. Hardly working wi-fi. Broken bad battens.
There is just one restaurant in walking distance. There is no grocery store in walking distance.

The owners of the apartment are great people. Pool and barbecue available. Below the apartment is about 100m very quiet bay for swimming. I highly recommend.

The apartment house enjoys a quiet location in the nature and in the real countryside of the island of Pag. It’s not on the beach, but a 5-minute walk from a small bay. There is a farm next door so you can hear the sheep and donkeys while sitting on the terrace, but keep in mind the mosquitoes and biting flies.
We arrived at Silva's house at 10pm with my kids after 8 hours of driving. The owners, Silva and her husband were waiting for us on the yard and greeted us nicely. Silva gave us the ground floor apartment.
I told her right away that I had booked and paid for one of the 1st floor apartments with seaview on booking.com. She answered me these flats were reserved for someone else. I was too tired to argue with her, so we accepted and moved in.
The ground floor apartment is next to their apartment. Its terrace is under a tree, next to the bushes of the neighboring farm, so you can enjoy the bites of flies during the day and then mosquitoes at night.
This ground floor apartment 's a dark, poorly equipped hole, no fresh air, just air conditioning, without seview.
During the 3 minutes while we moved into the apartment, the flat was filled with mosquitoes. I put half a bottle of mosquito spray on my kids and me, but their constant buzz stayed with us all week.
The double bed was very soft and bad, the fridge was old, too loud, without lighting.
Every night, after the battle of falling asleep, after 2-3 hours of sleep, I got up and moved out onto the patio where there were at least only mosquitoes.
In the morning I could enjoy the smell of Silva's cigarette smoke and we were lucky to smell it several times a day too.
The swimming pool is not really a pool, but rather a baby pool or tub.
And here are some more lists you will never accept for a € 100 / night apartment:
- the communist style plastic shower curtain
- the old water tap, which you cannot adjust and can easily scald yourself
- cheap, loud refrigerator
- an aged electric hob that does not show whether it works or not
- the patio electrical outlet that is broken and the computer may cause an electric shock
And of course no one came to the first floor apartment this week while we stayed in Silva’s apartment. It was a lie to be reserved for someone else.

The hosts seems to be nice until we decided to move out and claim the money back.
All I can say about this property is that it was so disappointing that we decided to move out after having spent 1 (out of 7) night there.
To start with, the toilet compact leaked (which in all fairness the owner tried to repair after we complained). The bathroom/toilet itself had 1 window which could not be opened and all humidity (and smells) entered the leaving room area. Air conditioning was laud and it made strange noises as there was something stuck inside. The owner tried to convince us that the air conditioning was bought only last year. If that's true, he should definitely claim a warranty. Apart from the noise, the air flow was so poor that it was still very hot inside, especially in the bedrooms, so much so. that I had to move together with the kids from the bedroom and sleep on a spare bed next to the air conditioning as we could not fall asleep in the heat.
Everything in this apartment seems to be dated or not working - shower head falling apart, windows rusty and very hard to open, guest bed in the leaving room broken, beds in the bedrooms - squeaky and uncomfortable, WiFi - non existent, no tiles on the kitchen wall (greasy stains next to the stove), spiderwebs...
The pool looked nothing like on the pictures but it was fine with us. After all, we came to the seaside to swim in the sea, not in the pool , however this one - definitely did not impress.
To anyone interested in the area, the location is very remote and there is not much going on there. The next grocery shop is a few kms away, so you need a car to get anything to eat/drink.
We travel to Croatia almost every year and we've stayed in many private properties already, some good, some worse, but what I can say about this one is that it was definitely not worth the money (money we did not get back, by the way). The owners should definitely think about getting the basics right before offering it to anyone. If they are not willing to do so, they should at least change the price tag.
