Notre petit coin de paradis

Nous avons absolument tout adoré. La localisation est parfaite, la piscine très agréable, les chambres spacieuses et joliment décorées. Mention spéciale pour la grande douche avec gel douche et savon. Le personnel était adorable merci à Caren pour son sourire et sa gentillesse, le petit déjeuner super bon. Notre hôtel préféré du séjour, merci beaucoup Nathalia pour ce petit coin de paradis , tes précieux conseils et ton aide pour les excursions.

Rien, de n’avoir pris que deux nuits ☺️

Wonderful stay in Zanzibar

Amazing location right on the beach! The rooms, the breakfast, the staff and the property itself were absolutely wonderful :) Definitely will come back!

Exceptional

The staff was very kind and welcoming. The property is a bliss of calm and peacefulness... You only hear the sounds of the sea, the birds and soft wind in the palm trees. The view on the ocean is stunning.

For breakfast, I would advise the property management to stop limiting and requesting their guests to choose between pancakes and eggs... I all hotels I stayed in Zanzibar, and some of them at a very much cheaper price / night, I always got both, on top of fruits. That was the only negative point of my stay.

Superb

The logde is situated in a quiet surrounding, perfect for a relaxing vacation. The garden is beautiful and the staff is super friendly and helps to organize trips/activities. Breakfast is great and there are plenty of local restaurants nearby (5min walk along the beach), they were all amazing! It's very convenient that there is a fridge filled with drinks, the prices are very fair! Would definitely choose Maji Lodge again!!

The quality of the mattress could be improved as it's quite thin and not very comfortable. Also, the rooms just have a mosquito net and no actual window that can be closed.

Amazing place and staff

We loved location and the small size of the property which creates feeling of coziness and comfort. Also staff for amazingly helpful in preparing surprise for her birthday, I was shocked how well they did it. Thank you!!!

Great location, classy, but a few improvements (nicer beds, complimentary bottled water) needed.

The location is fantastic, breakfast is good (omelette or pancakes, with fruit and coffee/tea), Natalia is a kind host. It is more of a guest house, not a hotel. Very serene, clean beautiful house and area.

My bed was not too comfortable, the mattress becomes very uneven when you lay on it. There is a fee for bottled water.

Superb

The hotel is right next to the beach. The sea view room is amazing. The decoration of the whole hotel is really nice. There are only 4 rooms so it feels like home. The breakfast is very good. I liked a lot the fact that the guest can use the kitchen if they want to cook. Thanks Natalia for everything !

Lovely beachfront villa perfect for getting away from it all.

Beautiful location right on the beach, a private oasis perfect for getting away from it all & social distancing. There were miles of powdery beach in either direction. Simazi the chef prepared a tasty breakfast and was also available to cook other meals if needed. Natalia was a wonderful owner/hostess and helped hook us up with everything we needed on the island. If we were prepared with more supplies from Stone Town (there was very little available at local shops) we could easily have stayed there for a month.

Not a lot of supplies available locally, it looked liked there are usually a number of restaurants within walking distance but as we were traveling during the pandemic virtually everything was closed.

Amazing beach villa in Matemwe

Property location was right on the beach. The owner (Natalia), the manager Joyce and the rest of the staff were amazing and made us feel home. We made friends with people also staying at the property at same time. Natalia was a great guide recommending things to do and places to eat during our stay and accommodated all our requests. Rooms were clean, spacious and quiet with only hearing the ocean in the distance. Amazing!! Highly recommend it for solo, couples, family and group travels. It’s possible to rent the whole house of 4 bedrooms with private bathrooms. It can accommodate groups up to 11 people. Pool is coming April 2020. Can’t wait to splash in it next time I’m there.
