Welcome to the Antler Inn at Pecan Grove Estates. This guest house is nestled at the rear of the beautifully landscaped grounds of the Pecan Grove Main House. Renovated to maintain its rustic charm, this guesthouse has its own bedroom, bath, living room, dinning room, and kitchen. It is within walking distance to the San Antonio river, historic San Jose Missions, grocery, and pharmacy. This space also comes with one parking space within the gated grounds.

Less than a 1.5 miles from the historic San Jose Missions, the San Antonio river, Biking/Walking trails as well as the vessel drop in point for kayaking down the river. Less than 5 miles to downtown San Antonio. A short drive to Southtown, the Pearl Brewery, and shopping.

Gail was great! Super knowledgeable on restaurants and nearby places to go! We had a wonderful stay here. We drive to the beach and floated Comal River. Everything was very close and only 15 minutes from Riverwalk. Ama

This rental was quaint and charming, and I wish I'd had the time to ask questions about its history. The slightly poor surrounding neighborhood only added to the atmosphere of the place which almost seemed to belong to another place and time. Everything was clean and comfy and safe, and I would definitely go again.

What an extremely unique stay and property. We honestly did not know what to expect when we drove into the "estate" - it was so peaceful and charming. We loved just walking around and checking out the different buildings. Our room was very quiet and definitely fulfilled our needs. We didn't get a chance to use the kitchen, but it was nice to have it all as an option. Great coffee and food was a nearby drive as well as the Missions National Park (free access to the park and the ability to rent bikes for the river trail was wonderful). Short 10-15 minute drive to nearly all of the major tourist attractions (check out the Pearl District).

I chose this property because of its location on the south side of San Antonio. The unit was very clean and comfortable. I woke up every day feeling refreshed. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for your hospitality. Diane.

Antler Inn is a very nicely landscaped place. The cottage I was in was very nicely decorated in a rustic decor and had the basic needs for my stay. I slept well! :-) I hope to stay there again...

Where to start…from checking in for my 8day stay to checking out…EVERYTHING was amazing,quaint,cozy & more than I expected! There are 3 other rentals on property,each with a different,loving theme! I can’t wait to come back with my husband…best blessing is I have an amazing new sister to cherish forever 💗 Any property you rent here will be a gift. Around every corner there’s something amazing to discover,not cluttered just hand chosen decor & love in everything💗

The host was super friendly and gave great recommendations on local eateries and activities. The housing was super comfortable with a great layout that allows one to sleep while the other watches TV or listens to music without disturbing each other. Will definitely be back!

My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at Antler Inn and absolutely loved it. Rustic charm throughout and so relaxing. We cannot say how much we loved this place. The manager provided extra fans because of the excessive heat and made sure that we were comfortable. She’s a gem!

Property was not clean, WiFi was very spotty, TV didn’t work in living room and I had to call Gail for assistance which took 1 hour for her to get there, couldn’t enjoy outside garden as mosquitos were terrible, bedroom mattress was very lumpy, supplies like toilet paper and paper towels were not adequate,

We felt as we were in the gardens like the quaint historic Charleston or Louisiana Quarter. The hundred year old trees, birdsong and native plants were beautiful to take in. The guest cottages are exceptionally clean. The Antler Inn Cottage is well appointed in rustic western charm with contemporary comfort. The bed is amazingly comfortable! Every detail in the decor brings a guest into the heart of Old San Antonio with comfort. Thank you. Our stay was perfect!

This is a good place to stay if you’re going to be around San Antonio. The rooms were clean and quaint. The Wi-Fi was spotty on some of my devices but it was really comfortable. The owner was very nice and welcoming. Definitely might come back if I get another vacation there.

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend, primarily to visit the Missions and river walk, which this is only a short walk or drive to the main visitor center, but you can very easily get to the centre of San Antonio for other attractions. The property is exactly as described, it’s cosy and in a quiet neighborhood, nestled toward the rear of the property. Our host Gail was lovely, communications was quick and the check-in / check-out was easy. We would recommend to all!

It's Gorgeous and very calming. Even with the dead of winter plant conditions, the place was beautiful and peaceful. Will be staying here again , and will recommend to my family and friends. We want to try out the other rooms on the property

Pros: - Good size for a couple - Heat turned on and warmed up the place quickly - Seemed cleaned from a COVID perspective - The rest of the property looked nice, but we didn't explore it. Cons: - Communication was poor. Host was a little rude. - Toilet too close to kitchen without a solid door between them. - Some cobwebs - No written instructions anywhere on wifi, check-in/out, etc. - Iron did not work well - No snacks and such as indicated in photos (not a big deal for us, but still a con) We got in late and left early, so it worked for the one night. But I don't think we'd stay here again.

The location is good and quiet. Plenty of restaurants. Close to downtown. Issues are the WiFi connection is bad. Clearance was not good. We found a pair of shorts under the bed. Shower facet was either just cold or hot water. No in between. Probably not connected right.

A quaint little space for our family of 3. All the amenities we needed for a 3 night stay. Very clean and the bed was super cozy. Central A/C, perfect for Texas' heat. Beautiful pool area. We felt very safe and secure during our stay. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
