All the staff were very pleasant and very accommodating. Starting with the front desk crew who was always very polite and knowledgeable and ending with the Housekeeping staff who were always pleasant and smiling, the crew is the only good thing I liked during my stay.
I changed my room the first day and both the rooms had mold in the bathroom. The rooms are not kept upto date on the maintenance. The split air system needs heavy maintenance. The showers need proper equipment and shower heads. No hot water in the showers. There are semi Tractors parked outside and they usually decide to start their vehicles at 1 am or earlier. the noise woke me up every hour after midnight. There is no coffee in the lobby even an aromatico and this is a coffee country. I had to walk on the street for a coffee. I also saw customers being charged half of what I paid for one night and I stayed six nights. Originally. I was trying to find a place close to Port Bahia and this is what popped up as being the closest. Booking has some work to do here. This was 35 minutes away from where I wanted to be. I also had one street person inquiring about my car. I believe I overpaid for my stay here. For a few dollars more, Historic center had hotels with Hot water, Free breakfast and coffee. The room description on Booking dot com is way off. No closets in the rooms.

The price was okay for what we got, air-conditioning, fridge, staff was very friendly.
Apparently, the neighborhood was pretty dangerous. The hotel is also very far from the center.
