Great place to stay in Poole ( our second one here). You can watch the sunset from the bar balcony or the RNLI training in the morning. Room is great and clean. Breakfast is lovely. Short walk to the Poole Quay. We love everything about this place and wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
Nothing. All was great.

Lovely breakfast comfortable bed and room. Heating in the room was lovely only thing the bath emptied as we filled but shower fine.
the bar was a little cold when having drinks but it is January.

The room was very comfortable and the view was really nice.
There wasn't really any downside other than perhaps the fact that at breakfast, by 9:10, there was very little left in the bakery area and I understood that what was there was it.

Delightful Reception staff and very helpful. The view of Holes Bay and Upton Lake from the room was fantastic as was watching the sun set over the Twin Sails bridge from the Slipway Cafe and Bar. Excellent breakfast with lots to choose from.
Nothing.

Location, facilities and cleanliness

Comfortable, clean room (comfy bed). Friendly and helpful staff. Easy free parking. Restaurant and bar on site. Excellent breakfast buffet with numerous options including full breakfast. It really was a great place to stay - and even better that it is part of the RNLI.

Easily located and good facilities
A little bit expensive but then again it was a bank holiday weekend. Pillows were too soft, one wasn’t enough but two was too many

Great location. Lovely views from the bedroom.

An absolute gem. Staff are friendly and professional, the breakfast was superb, and the room was well appointed and looked out across the water. Not the cheapest place to stay but certainly value for money, and with all profits going to the RNLI it's a great way to support a worthwhile cause.
The lunch in Riggers Restaurant had quite a limited menu, and a number of items weren't available. However, in their defence, it was clear that they were extraordinarily busy as they had an open day, so I don't think this is typical.
The evening menu was a bit heavily biased towards pasta / burger / steak options. A bit wider range would have been nice. Having said that, the fish & chips was excellent.

Stunning view from bedroom, which was a very good size. Excellent staff.

It was clean and modern with all rooms overlooking the harbour. Happy staff were super friendly and helpful. Food was good and buffet style breakfast was superb. Great location too.
The restaurant seating could be more comfortable.

it’s lovely here , we took our grandson and we were amazed at how comfortable they made us , the location is amazing .
we took the tour of the site which was really interesting and made special as our grandson was able to steer the boat in the simulator
nothing to dislike about the property , the only downside was the food was not up to previous stays , they obviously had shortage of thing which is understandable but the quality was not as good . all in all we would still stay again as it was a really great setting

Amazing breakfast, a lot of choices to choose from

The great thing is that you're constantly reminded of the great service and value of the RNLI to the nation. As a hotel guest, you're outnumbered by the great people on the many courses - some in the rooms, some on the water. Food, staff, restaurant and bar excellent, and all rooms comfy and look out to Poole Bay, with fine sunsets. Poole itself is just a few minutes' walk. Really wonderful was the Discovery Tour - packed with information and visiting the workshops, the splendid sea survival centre and, best of all, the amazing simulator complete with tilting motion. Top rate professionalism all round.
Nothing comes to mind.

The whole experience was superb, brilliant. The location, the building, the rooms (all with sea views) - everything excellent. Food lovely, staff really helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was fabulous and the tour was very entertaining and informative. The front desk were so lovely and helpful . Also a lovely young man went up stairs to get me a coffee as I had my baggage with me, he was so polite and lovely.
Lunch and dinner menu were the same no variety and no salmon🙃also stated minted peas (they weren’t minted) we were not asked if we would like desert , I understand the staff are young we had to ask for the table to be cleaned also.serving staff could do with a little more training in some areas but all very friendly. Actually the food we had was nice.

Excellent. You give money to the fabulous RNLI and in return, you get a very comfy room with sea views, parking, great food onsite, and only five mins from Poole Harbour. Excellent staff. Perfect
