It was a great way to disconnect with the family. Beautiful place and great staff.

Breakfast was excellent. Some staff were very friendly and others less so. Beaches were beautiful and very close.
No fridge in room. Very bare, but nice and cool.

Nothing in particular to mention. location is good, beach front.
breakfast is really poor (can’t understand, because the restaurant food from menu is good)
rooms are old and rusty and you hear noise from the outside machineries all night long, because there are no windows that you could close. in general to pricey (would compare it to budget hostels stays)

comfortable, nice rooms and spacious
there is actually no beach in front like the other hotels around, it has a bunch of rocks that you can’t pass through. I didn’t love the breakfast either, could have been better

The location at Playa Bonita is great. Staff is very nice, and the place is clean and comfortable. It’s about 18 minutes away driving from the city centre where it’s full of restaurants and bars.

The view was pretty
Almost everything else. They “only take cash”, which A) is not true - they accept cards on lower charges, b) the cash only policy was not disclosed on booking.com until it’s too late, and c) hotel doesn’t give change (so we were over charged). Also falsely advertise they have a TV in the room (they don’t) and they have working WiFi (it’s SUPER sketch AND BARELY works!). Bathroom had cockroaches in it, floor was dirty, and bugs were caught in the mosquito netting.

Lovely staff. Perfectly located on the beach in a quiet side.
I loved the Cuban night on Saturdays from 7 to 10pm.
The breakfast was simple but everything was there.
Very practical to have the surf school on the yard.
I like the family atmosphere - better than trending beach houses.
Special mention to the garden area for a massage - which was lovely.
I thought the rooms were really damp - my dress was moist in the morning.
The from i was in did not offer proper windows and the noise from outside was coming.
I also did not think it was well maintained: needs a refurbishment. the bathroom especially looked old.
The mosquito net did not close and there was sand / dust on the floor.
I also did not like that we needed to pay by cash (had to walk to find an ATM).

the property is beach front and the vibes out there are just amazing.
the bedroom a/c wasn’t amazing for the current weather. Even if this is not something the hotel can actually handle, during night time there was a little friend 🦅 that didn’t let us sleep due to the big noise.

Best breakfast of our 10 days in DR on a sunwashed patio. Great selection of foods - fruit, yogurt, eggs - but the mini croissants were amazing.
We ate dinner there and there was some confusion about our order but generally everybody was helpful and gracious. I take the blame - my Spanish isn't great.

The garden and the restaurant area is beautiful, it was very relaxing to just hang out there. The food in the restaurant was very good, we did not have anything we did not like. There was a salsa night, which was very fun and a rock band played on the other night. There were lots of people joining even from other hotels. The owner was really nice and flexible, and helped us overcome the problem of not having enough cash to pay for the accomodation.
We felt that the room is a bit overpriced compared to what we get. Many times, we had no hot water, which you would not expect from a room priced at 120 usd/night. Room was also quite small, there was no place where we could put our clothes and stuff. The breakfast is ok, but it's the same every morning, so it becomes a bit boring after a couple of days. The restaurant prices are ok if you consider the -15% discount you get as a guest. It would be a nice improvement if the accomodation could be payed by card.

A pleasant boutique hotel in contact with nature. The rooms are decorated and clean and very nicely decorated with details. There are only mosquito nets and shutters on the windows, which of course are not an obstacle to cooling with air conditioning. We also easily resolved the reservation agreement with the staff, as we had to change the date of the overnight stay at the last minute and there were no problems. You feel really great in the hotel. The staff is very helpful, although there is no refrigerator in the room, they store things in the restaurant’s kitchen. I recommend

The outstanding breakfast (included) had plenty of choices.
The room was large and airy with an air conditioning unit assisted by a ceiling fan.
Not many rooms to rent in the property so the availability is minimum.

The garden is beautiful. Close to restaurants. The beach is excepcional.

Breakfast was good, not a huge variety, but everything was tasty and of good quality.
Location was excellent, right on the beach.
Rooms were comfy.
The restaurant is overpriced. It's good, but too expensive. But so is everything else in this area.
The rooms are very basic, totally nothing fancy. But it fits the hippy area vibe so it's fine :)
