while booking location showed me near, after check-in i realized location is too far from center.

Breakfast is ok not so Good. Location is too far from Centre.

Would use again but avoid asking staff to order things unless you can pay by card.

Clean hotel in a great location. Bonus: cat visitors in the morning!

Buffet was extreme budget. They didn’t replenish their yogurt fruit pots for 8 days! Also the orange squash was often watered down too much. Staff were kind to honour my request to order takeout food for me, but suspiciously expensive when I had to pay for it. The woman at the counter helped herself to a tip from my cash without permission. Soon figured out how to buy the essentials from the local grocers (check out BIM!) and was able to budget better.

Before arrival, I asked that organize for us check-in as early as possible, since our trip was early in the morning, but unfortunately nothing has been prepared and we had to wait more than 3 hours with our small child in the lobby.

Pleasant

Breakfast was fantastic!! Beyond expectations…

My friends room was not booked as per our booking. We have to argue to change the room. We booked 3 rooms for 3 couple. But one of the room was not booked as requested. There was a column in between the 2 single bed. Staff was not willing at the beginning to change the room.

A good stay, spoiled by being overcharged and the hotel failing to take action to resolve the issue.

Staff were friendly and rooms nice and clean and reception staff were helpful

I was overcharged for our stay and despite emailing the hotel twice and the hotel being contacted on my behalf to obtain a refund by both by IHG and booking.com I have not been contacted by the hotel or had my overcharged bill refunded. This would put me off staying at this hotel again and I would advise other travellers to be wary of booking this hotel. Mistakes can be made but when there is no willingness by the hotel to resolve the issues this is a real cause for concern.

Very poor

Garage and Wifi and location for my needs.

The room was very small and the air condition didnt work properly. The breaksfast was very poor and absolutly distasteful. The scrambled egss were basicly liquid... Reception girl spoke 0 english and coudlnt give me a proper invoice. Overall - really bad.

Disappointing

The staff members were friendly enough

1. Charged much more than what I was told under the guise that the rates were due to bank charges. 2. Room faced the car park and every single noise reverberated inside. 3. A piece if the skirting board was on the floor 4. There was oil stains on the wall 5. Breakfast is a joke. No real choice

The stay in the hotel was very very nice ,and the service was good. I suggest paying more attention to the cleanliness of the room I extend a special and big thanks to the manager and his assistants The receptionist gave me good help, he has all my appreciation and praise. ‎‏thanks to all the staff

Quiet and clean rooms

The breakfast. Ready made plates like we were in the middle of corona time... No use of glass, and it all blamed on corona while no one wearns masks or carefull about social distance. When it comes to breakfast they just blame on corona to give such a poor breakfast. No selection.

Great place at a great price.

The hotel is nice and clean, the staff is very helpful with all the needs. The staff even let me check in early.

The only thing I didn’t like was there was no Safety box in the room, other than that everything was fine.

we loved our stay. Istanbul is a a beautiful place to visit and this budget hotel is perfect location to get around and

amazing value for money. immaculate and clean for a budget hotel. basic but anything you ask for (albeit through Google translate 🤣) they will help with. taxis always readily available to take you wherever you need to go.

breakfast wasn’t to my taste but rach to their own.

Comfortable room with great Wi-Fi available. Friendly, helpful staff. Very clean environment. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express Altunizade.
