Staff was very friendly. Facility was architecturally interesting. Bed was comfortable.
Free breakfast was basic. Pool didn't have enough seating for guests. Early check in was promised, but not provided meaning we sat in the heat with a toddler for 4.5 hours. The room we received did not look like the photos online.
4.5
This is an absolutely beautiful hotel and the staff were extremely attentive. If you want upscale, this is a place to consider. The pool was lovely and there were multiple terraces to sit and enjoy the weather. Unfortunately the third floor bar was closed for renovations.
The hotel's location is really the worst part about this place. It's a long way from the city center with no attractions nearby. We were also a little frustrated that the hotel was mostly empty the nights we stayed but the staff still stuck us in a bottom corner room with no view. Almost all of the other rooms had a patio or balcony. Frustrating but minor detail. The inside of our room was lovely and very clean.

beautiful setting but lots of steps. very nice rooms and lovely staff
too many different levels so lots of steps. and no lobby or place to go when I’m up at 5:00AM.

beautiful, clean property with excellent staff. it was far out of town so we had to cab back each time we wanted to eat.
food upstairs was the worst meal we had in Oaxaca. pool was freezing. discotheque on top floor not ideal.
3.5
Hotel was lovely, really nice to relax.
I had to ask for my room to be serviced.
Reception tried to charge me for breakfast on checkout
Breakfast had little options
Bar and Restaurant are aggressive for tips even though service was below average.
Pool was unavailable on the final day of my stay which was highly disappointing.

It is located in a quiet neighborhood on a hill outside of the busy crowded noisy El Centro.
Once inside the surrounding walls of this beautifully landscaped hotel you can shut off the hustle and bustle of the town. Take a swim in the pool have a cocktail and snack while enjoying the cooler fresher air inside the walled courtyard.
The staff were extremely helpful and courteous starting with Hernando at the front desk who will make
sure all your needs are met. He set up taxis, airport transfers and private tours to remote pueblos to see the various artists at work making and selling their pottery, alebrijes, weaving etc. If you don’t speak Espanol no hay problema.
The property appears to have been completely remodeled and is super clean and comfy. The 2 restaurants on site served excellent food and drinks.
We stayed in a jr suite #207 for 7 nights and would do it again in a minute.
The only negative is it is 10-15 min drive outside the center of town where we spent much time so taxis back and forth several times a day was an inconvenience. Only 80 pesos per ride ($4) no big deal but a small negative.

The hotel was under some kind of construction, so the noise was intolerable.
The was no WiFi in the room. The staff tried to solve the problem and they couldn't.
The air conditioner was not working so the room was very hot at night.

The breakfast buffet was worth every dollar. Location was great. The staff was phenomenal and very nice and helpful.
I do not think they could do anything better everything was good.

The staff was amazing from the cleaning people to the front Desk staff Fernando and Carla to our waiter Arturo. We felt like we were the only ones at the resort because we had such personal care. All of our needs were met. The property is very clean our rooms were very clean. Service was very fast with anything we needed.

The staff was really nice and friendly and the bed was great and comfy
We booked this place with the hope to have a calm and relaxing few days in Oaxaca but unfortunately this was really not the case:
- The room brings you right next to the restaurants and pool, which makes it really loud. During our stay, we had a couple of family gathering together - they were playing music on their own speaker and the sound of the kids playing in the swimming pool and jacuzzi all day made it impossible to relax. We tried to communicate this with the staff, but nothing changed
- We were not able to use the jacuzzi unfortunately as it was monopolised by them - a shame for the price we actually paid
- The breakfast included was ok, but we were expecting better. We only had the choice between two meals: eggs or chilaquiles. Also, we only had access to filtered coffee - cappuccinos etc are not included in the breakfast
- The wifi was inexistent in our bedroom, we had to use our mobile data to organise our days in Oaxaca
If I had knew, I would have booked an hotel in the center - which would I am sure have been better value.

Liked everything except a bit far from downtown.
Location

very nice staff, and the location was convenient with foods options a short walk downhill
the hot tub was under maintenance for the two days we were there, but we did not know that at booking.

The room was very nice and large
The window had no view and you could ear people talking in the court or the music from the restaurant.

Exceptional service, beautiful grounds, our room was large, comfortable and clean. House keeping was quick and on point. But the best part was the service that Fernando provide for us, he made our stay delightful. Thank for making us feel at home.
We didn’t like the fact that we had to leave and go home.

The property is lovely. The room was large, comfortable and very clean. The staff is very friendly, responsive and professional. Wifi was very good. I was able to get work done.
Location was not as central as I had hoped. The menu is lacking in vegetarian options. The breakfast included in my rate was not vegetarian friendly. I had to pay extra for a vegetarian breakfast despite having already paid for breakfast in my room rate.
