Wow what a place
I must say this was one of the best holiday homes we have ever stayed in. family of 6 including from 19 to 85 year old and dogs and the house catered for everybody. The place is so well equipped its a home from home. It caters for every type of cooking you may want to do and all manner of games and the outside wildlife is beautiful to watch in the mornings. Dale is a lovely place and very friendly and the Pembroke coast is just as nice. will defiantly come again.

Kayaking heaven
We have had a wonderful stay at Sanderling House .The house is excellently equipped and was very clean and well maintained. We loved watching the birds on the feeders from the kitchen every day-even spotting a woodpecker a couple of times. We have been to Pembrokeshire for several years now and always bring our kayaks. This was by far the best location we have found to kayak from. The beach and jetty are just a few minutes walk from the house and because the bay is so sheltered we were able to kayak even on the windy days. The cafe by the bay was great for our cooked breakfast on the day we left. They also do yummy icecream and cakes but their closing time can vary depending on how busy it is so worth checking-I missed my icecream one day! Marloes sands nearby is the most beautiful and dog friendly beach and well worth a visit. The owner was very friendly and helpful, even calling us the night before to let us know we could get in earlier as the previous guests had left a day before. A brilliant place to stay-I,m sure we'll be back again.

A wonderful place to stay, in a stunning location
A perfect base for exploring the area, and an equally great place to kick back and relax. Everything has been thought of, with all the maps, books, games and entertainment you could ever want provided.
The house is extremely comfortable and clean, and the village of Dale is the perfect place to unwind and relax.

Excellent location for coastal path walks
Excellent location and property for undertaking the coastal path walks we wanted to do. Communication with Jill (owner) was very good and everything was perfect apart from the weather! Access and egress via the utility room was a bonus for us after our very wet and muddy walks.
The house was very clean and fully equipped. Visiting out of season meant that local amenities were closed but Jill had forewarned us about that so it wasn’t a problem. We’d shopped before arriving at the house so we’d taken everything we needed.
Good selection of toys, books, dvds and games for the evenings if required.
Overall the house was more than expected and was a wonderful base for our walks through South Pembrokeshire. We had pretty awful weather for most of our week but still thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sanderling House anD would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Great family house
We had a great stay at Sanderling. The house is really well equipped, especially for families. Our toddler was delighted to find a box of toys to play with and books to read.
The house is spacious with a beautiful garden and it's in a great location close to two beaches. We spent a very happy week wandering to the beach, the local cafe and pub and not doing much else!

Great house, lovely location
We had a lovely week at Sanderling House. Everything you could need (and a lot more) is provided in the lovely house, which was spotlessly clean. The house was plenty big enough for our family of 8.
Sanderling House is in a great, quiet location with lovely views (including the sea) from upstairs, and we enjoyed sitting in the kitchen watching the birds in the garden (huge different variety).
The small beach is only a couple of minutes walk away, and the food at The Griffin was great.
Dale is a lovely little village, and although it has very few amenities, is only a few minutes drive from many locations.
We cant wait to visit again.

Inviting, well-stocked house by the sea
We are repeat visitors to this special place. The warmth and generosity of the couple who own the house is evident throughout; very well-equipped; clean and piles of towels! The sun trap at the back of the house looking onto the magical hill garden is another highlight. Sanderling could not be better positioned - 2 mins walk to the best seafood pub in Wales and the wonderful harbour with full sailing facilities at West Wales Watersports. More loveliness in Dale awaits but you'll just have to go and see for yourself!

Home from home
I booked Sanderling house as a mini break for myself, my partner, his parents, sister and partner as a birthday gift for his mother. This is the second time that I have stayed in the house and it was even better than I remembered.
The house has ample parking and an amazing garden, (great for BBQ's and tea on the patio.) The house has 4 bedrooms, lounge, dining room, 2 bathrooms, utility room, garage and a large kitchen with patio doors that open up onto the patio.
The house has EVERYTHING that you need and if you did require anything extra Jill is fantastic and will try her best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The house is spotless and is extremely comfortable!
The house has wifi, sky, wii, DVD's, games, books basically anything you would have in your house and more.
Dale is such a stunning part of the world with fantastic walks and amazing beaches, the house is in an ideal location with great views. A home from home!
Thank you so much - can't wait to go back!

Lovely house near the sea
Spacious, very well-equipped house with good Wi-Fi connection.
The house was clean, warm and well-maintained. Towels were provided.
Large, comfortable lounge on the first floor.
The location was in a quiet road a short distance from the sea.
We enjoyed watching the birds on the feeders in the garden.
There was plenty of room for 8 adults.
Would recommend this property especially if you want a quiet holiday with plenty of games, books, videos etc to keep children occupied when it's raining.

What a find!
Excellent, spacious, well equipped and spotless holiday accommodation. We were blessed with good weather, but there was plenty to keep us occupied if we had chosen not to go out. We were a group of six adults and certainly wouldn't hesitate about coming back again, maybe with children/grandchildren another time. Unfortunately the cafe was already closed until 2016, but the Griffin and the yacht club were both open for food and drinks, though if you are coming out of season just check which days and what time meals are available!

Fantastic house!
The house is in a very good location in the centre of Dale. Very spacious and well equipped. Spotlessly clean. Very detailed information given by the owner about the house and location. Good communication with the owner. Only problem was the blu-ray player not working. Would recommend The Moorings coffee shop and restaurant and the Griffin. The Corn Store in Pembroke has a lovely coffee shop too. Cresselly Arms at Cresswell Quay and the tea shop at Lawrenny are favourite places.

This house is perfect for our family. It is really clean and well presented. There are 4 good sized bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a decent sized dining room. There is also a very smart sitting room with excellent tv, dvd etc. There is very good wifi throughout.
The bathrooms are clean and work well with a shower room on the ground floor perfect for washing the kids when they get back from the beach.
There is a very beautiful and well maintained garden which catches the sun.
Dale is a lovely coastal village with sailing and other watersports available. There are excellent beaches nearby.
