We live in urban Rhode Island and wanted a short break. The house is wonderfully set up and comfortable. It was a great base for exploring an area that we were already very familiar with. The property manager was extremely helpful with suggestions and immediate responses. The house is on a very busy road, but we adjusted to the traffic noise while inside the house itself.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was the center to everything we wanted to do.

Three generations of my family enjoyed this home for its prime location, beautiful views of the water and sunsets, and space enough for 6 adults and three children under 5. Convenient access to Newport, Providence and the Cape.

Very peaceful and in a beautiful location! We all enjoyed the river, wildlife, and boats going by. We were two couples traveling together with hopes of one staying upstairs and the other down. However, stairs are configured so that getting heavy luggage down them (and back up) was not appealing. Not a tremendous problem though since we are longtime friends. We all stayed upstairs and shared the upstairs bathroom at night and made use of the other for additional shower space and laundry. All of our sightseeing was in Newport so the house was a bit of a commute but easy to get in and out. Restaurants nearby are limited but The Black Goose was very good! I do suggest editing the VRBO directions to the house as exit numbers have changed and thusly a bit confusing to us on our first arrival. The house host was always responsive, and we found the house and amenities to be consistent with the VRBO listing. We had a great time and made many new memories.

Everything about the spacious house is outstanding - comfortable furniture, including terrific beds and linens. Kitchen is amazingly well equipped, with high-end cookware, lots of plates, service pieces, etc. Views are picture-postcard perfect. Would love to have stayed weeks instead of days.

This home has everything you could need for a relaxing stay, just bring your luggage! Situated on the Sakonnet river, it has beautiful views and lovely sunsets. It is twenty minutes or so from beaches in Little Compton and thirty or so from Newport and its beaches. Several very good golf courses in the area and fine restaurants too.

Return renter from last year, no gnats then. Needed fans in bedroom running to keep gnats away while sleeping. Maybe furniture needs to be cleaned. Could be seasonal, last time here in June

This house was a great place to stay. Was near everything! We had a wedding and a rehearsal dinner and the house was close to it all. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer property. Christine was very accommodating and very responsive to us when we had questions.
Would stay here again for sure!
Thanks!

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! The house had everything we needed, and the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. After days spent at museums, or wineries, or doing the cliff walk in Newport, we always made it a point to end each day on the back patio, with snacks and drinks, to watch the beautiful sunsets. Communication with Christine was very easy, and she always responded right away. There was a handy binder with ALL the information anyone could need, that included everything from how to operate things in the house, to where to go for coffee, food or even rent a kayak. We will definitely book this property again if we're able to come back for another visit. Thank you for providing the perfect place for a much needed, awesome vacation!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at this property and were beyond impressed with every aspect of the experience. Communication was great, everything was as described (actually even better, including the location and views...the pictures don't even do it justice), and when we ran into an unexpected issue with the coffee maker not working anymore on our 2nd day, Christine promptly resolved it. Super comfy beds, big kitchen, amazing views and natural light. Just delightful! We would absolutely stay here again!

We very much enjoyed Christine's fabulous, family-friendly home away-from-home for our summer vacation. Nearly every detail has been considered to make this home both functional and comfortable. We found it to be spotlessly clean upon arrival. The kitchen was well stocked with modern equipment and basic amenities, which made staying in to cook a pleasure. (There's a great supermarket -- Market Basket -- only 10 min away in Fall River, and Cumberland Farms is within walking distance.) The family room served as a comfy spot for our family of four to veg and watch movies after days at the beach or touring nearby attractions. We took full advantage of the surround-sound speakers for spinning tunes. The bedrooms were large and the beds and bedding were very comfortable. And the views were absolutely spectacular. Watching from the comfort of the kitchen table or patio as the boats cruised in and out of the Sakonnet River and the ospreys hunted in the Nannaquaket Pond in the morning and evening was such a delight. Not to mention the sunsets and views of Portsmouth across the river. Simply amazing. Thank you for your hospitality, Christine! We look forward to the opportunity to stay again someday.

We had a wonderful time in Tiverton at this beautiful home. The views were incredible, the space was ideal, and everything we could possibly need or want was available. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning on the outdoor patio and our wine in the evening taking in the beautiful Rhode Island sunsets. The owner was always available to answer any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this location - The perfect spot with spectacular views! The house has everything for a family vacation for all ages. The hosts have thought of everything you might need, and have gone above and beyond with the two upstairs beds - incredible mattresses! The host was easy to communicate with and has taken great care to give all sorts of recommendations for local activities and restaurants. It was a fabulous week and we look forward to returning!

A lovely vacation home
We absolutely loved this home and its location! We had all of our family come and visit and there was room for everyone! The kids loved playing in the large yard and the adults loved the patio out back. The home was very well stocked and communication with Christine was easy. We had groceries delivered from Pea Body Stop and Shop the evening we arrived to save on the stress of rushing to the store for food. Kids must have their snacks and adults their eggs and coffee! :) We hope that if we come up again this home will be available. The only thing we would ask for is black-out curtains in the rooms. The toddlers rising with the sun at 5:15 wasn't a great time. Definetly were hoping to sleep in, but not possible with bright sunlight in the morning! Still, we loved the home!

Fabulous views!
My husband and I just returned from our trip out east where we stayed at this lovely property in Tiverton. Communication with the owners was excellent from beginning to end. This darling home was clean as a whistle and cute as a button and the views from the back porch were amazing! We started each day with coffee outside and ended each day with a glass of wine watching the sunset over the water. Everything we could possibly need was supplied to us and I wish I could have taken the bed home with me because it was that comfortable. There’s so much to do in that area and this was a perfect homebase for us with all the day trips that we did. If we are ever out that way again, we would not hesitate for a second to rebook this lovely home.Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Spent the last month at Christine and Tom’s home and enjoyed every minute . The location of the home is great with the water being right in your back yard and the views / sunsets are amazing . Only a short drive to Newport . The home is very spacious and well stocked with all necessary items . We were able to kayak right off the back of the property. Beautiful and comfortable!
We really enjoyed our stay! It was a joy to sit in the kitchen, living room, our back table and watch all the action out on the river. Great location for visits into Newport and we enjoyed walking to the local coffee shop, cafe, and fish store. Everything we needed was there and Christine was very easy to communicate with.

Sunny house with water views
We had a relaxing time in this bright and clean home with spectacular water views. The kitchen is large and well equipped and the decor is cheerful & cozy. The beds and pillows are especially comfortable. There is a cafe, a coffee roaster, a fish market and an amazing Mediterranean restaurant all within walking distance. The owner is responsive with many great suggestions for local beaches and farmers markets. Overall, a top notch experience ~

Very comfortable and spacious!
We really enjoyed our stay at this house. We stayed with our four young children and there was more than enough room for everyone. The beds were very comfortable and the whole house was very equipped with anything you might need. A huge plus for any fishermen is that you can fish right in the backyard. My husband caught about 15 fish one day! The house is located only about 25 minutes from Newport, where we visited friends and family and explored all the cute shops and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this property.
