Thoroughly enjoyed our vacation, property manager was extremely helpful. Highly recommend!

You'll get a true taste of Belizean life in this property. The location works great if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of San Pedro, it's about a 20 minute golf cart ride to the center of town. There are some good restuarant options nearby, don't miss the Drink & Drive, it's fun! We had limited cooking opportunities in the kitchens, as it was not as fully stocked of a kitchen to cook as we are used to. The appliances (dishwaser, stove, washer/dryer, coffee maker) are all a bit dated, but mostly operational once you know what to do. AC works great which is critical! Pool and dock were fantastic, our crew did lots of great fishing off the dock at all hours of the day. Thank you to Ester who was a fantastic concierge for all of our many questions and needs!

This was our second time staying at this property and everything went very well. We enjoyed our first trip enough to book a return several years later. Once again it met our expectations for a large group and we never felt in each others way. The management company had the home provisioned as we requested and everything else within the property functioned as expected. We will return again.

We had such a blast at casa Amarillo. It’s a great space w a chill vibe. Ester is perfection she is quick to respond and she is like a magician and was able to get us into restaurants, on boats and riding in golf carts. Her efficient capabilities made the trip amazing. We loved the island. Great meals at Hungry grouper, blue water grill, and Maxie’s. We adored the Truck Stop and blue bayou!! Hire a boat to take you to secret beach, way better than driving.

First time to Belize/San Pedro, and it did not disappoint. The home was spacious and accommodating, and not to mention the views were spectacular. Would definitely like to stay here again.

We had a truly amazing stay at Casa Amarillo! All of the staff at Pelican (Ester in particular) were knowledgeable and exceedingly helpful. They arranged everything for us-flights to/from the island, golf cart rental, a private chef, and excursions-we just had to show up and enjoy our time. The property was beautiful, as advertised. We spent our afternoons in the private pool. Cesar, the groundskeeper, was attentive and even sprayed for mosquitoes for us when we asked. San Pedro was a fun town to explore, with lots of unique dining options. We did a private snorkel/fishing charter to Hol Chan and the guys took a second fishing charter that was beyond successful! We took our catch to Margie and Kenny's Hangout, where they turned it into a personal dinner for our family. Mariceli cooked 3 amazing meals for us-we'd highly recommend her!

Loved this property! The outdoor space is amazing and we actually liked that it was in a quieter neighborhood and outside of town a bit. Ester was extremely helpful and very responsive. Grounds keeper visited daily and maintained outdoor space and pool. We were pleasantly surprised by how large and deep the pool is, not sure many houses have a private pool this size. Our teenage boys enjoyed fishing off the dock and caught some awesome fish - they even snorkeled a bit off the dock.
Favorite restaurants were Blue Water Grill, Hidden Treasure, Coolbeans (breakfast), The Baker (breakfast) Elvi’s, Someplace South - honestly never had a bad meal! Loved the fruit and veggie stands and we found a few stands that had fresh salsa and guacamole-yum!
Hol Chan and shark alley were awesome and a must do!
Belize is fantastic and we will definitely return!

Casa Amarillo was perfect for our needs! The house has plenty of space to spread out. We pretty much lived near the pool under the palapa. The dock was so nice to have for sunrises, sunsets, excursion pick-ups, etc. The location of the house was great. It was far enough away to be quiet and secluded. However, within a few minute drive, you start to reach restaurants and bars. Downtown took 15-20 minutes.
My husband and I were there for two weeks. Some friends joined for most of the stay while others visited the first week and a second set of friends the next week. Despite the shift change, Ester was so patient and accommodating. She was super helpful with everything from flights to reservations to recommendations. We are so thankful for Ester and the rest of the teams help.
Belize did not disappoint and we'll absolutely be back! We wouldn't hesitate to rent Casa Amarillo again.

The place is absolutely amazing, great location, every amenity you need. First time staying in Belize, vacationed with three other couples and all eight of us loved the house, had more than enough room and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Close to great restaurants and not to far from town. Ester and Cesar were so helpful, accommodating and quick to respond. I would highly recommend this property for families or couples.

We were three families (our friends and their two teens, my husband and I and our two teens, and my sister and her six-year-old) and we LOVED this house.
There is an upstairs with two bedrooms and a full kitchen, and a downstairs with three bedrooms and a full kitchen, each with their own living areas and bathrooms, and separate entrances. It was a perfect combination of privacy and also community space, with the pool area and palapa seating area, plus an outdoor bathroom and shower, in the shared space out back. Also out back was a terrific volleyball net/manicured sandy area and then a long sturdy dock, with seating at the end and stairs to the water!
The house is located about 15 minute golf cart drive (golf carts are driven almost exclusively on Ambergris Caye) to San Pedro town, which had all the services you would want) but there is a well-stocked little store about 5 minutes away, and several resorts within walking distance for meals/drinks if you like!). Most of our excursions and our water taxi picked us up right at the house's private dock! We loved how quiet and tranquil the area of the house was-- very residential-feeling, and very safe-feeling as well!
Everything was clean and well-organized, and a groundskeeper visited daily to clean the pool, rake the sand, and generally maintain the property. We stayed for two weeks and a housekeeping service came in the middle, which was perfect.
The management was INCREDIBLE!!!! Esther got us organized with our golf cart rentals, four different AMAZING excursions, a Christmas dinner cooked in the house, as well as water taxis to and from Belize City. She was 100% available for any question or requests the whole time. I cannot say enough good things about her and the rest of the staff, and the tour people she coordinated for us (Snorkeling! Cave tubing! Shark petting! Rum punch! Freshly-made ceviche! Mayan Ruins! Giant turtles! Seahorses! The list goes on and on!).
Truly an unforgettable, absolutely wonderful vacation, and this house and Esther were central to the whole experience! 10 out of 5 stars!! I would not hesitate to stay here again! It's un-Belizable!!! :D

We had a phenomenal time here. We were 8 adult friends and the space had plenty of space for everyone to spread out inside and out. The pool was lovely and the private dock was incredible to get up and watch the sun rise from.
But the support we got from Ester and Wilbert from Pelican Reef Property management was truly the standout. Ester was available before and during our stay for ALL of my questions and requests, and they both really went above and beyond to make the stay special - Esther helped us book a private chef and massages as well as gave us countless other suggestions, and Wilbert surprised us with coconuts to drink from and found another hammock for us to use when we asked! Even when we were having major mosquito issues he came through and helped by fogging multiple times a day & providing burning coils to help at night.
Only thing to keep in mind is that it is about a 20-30 minute golf cart ride out from town in the opposite direction of thinks like Truck Stop and Secret Beach. We loved that it was this remote, but it did mean any adventures we took were a longer one. We loved every minute.

This house was perfect for our family vacation with 10 people. Adults and teenagers. With an upstairs unit with two bedrooms for the adults and a downstairs unit with three bedrooms the teenagers are there in space. The pool was great. The dock access was convenient to have pick ups app for excursions. The service from the concierge and groundskeeping was absolutely fantastic anything we needed they were responsive and available for. I’m told that they’re gonna be doing some renovations and updating on this house but we did not find it to be very outdated. We’re also flexible comfortable travelers and not bougie

Our stay at Casa Amarillo was great, the private dock is great to have access for pickup for excursions. We had a group of 10 adults and the sleeping arrangements were very comfortable, plenty of room upstairs and downstairs. The staff was excellent, Ester, Wilbert, Caesar, Nigel and the cleaning crew did an great job for us. We will definitely look to come back to this location and to Belize!

Location is great. Calm part of town great views. Pool deck and interior could use some renovations now that the pandemic is over. Love have access to the dock and getting picked up by boat for our excursions. Water is not swimmable directly in front of the house but can be accessed just down the street. Rent a gold cart to get around the island.

Terrific House for a group
We enjoyed our stay at Casa Amarillo. The house is set up well for a big group though there were only 5 of us staying there. The pool is bigger than I thought it would be and the view was awesome. The caretaker and property manager were also amazing. Having the ability to be picked up by boat for snorkeling or other boat based excursions is a huge plus! The only downside is that it's a solid 25 minutes from town, the seagrass extends a ways from the beach and the water isn't really deep enough to comfortably swim off the dock, IMO. I also wish there were more pantry basics but that could be due to Covid restrictions.

This property is in a great location if you want to enjoy a relaxing, slow paced getaway. The exterior amenities were incredible and the photos didn't do it justice. We took full advantage of the sparkling pool and covered lounge area. The palm trees on the property surrounded a beautiful white sand volleyball court that was so fun for a spontaneous family game. And to top it off, there's a hammock at end of the long pier to catch a breeze and enjoy the sunset. It was just perfect!

Peaceful and relaxing
We had a wonderful experience at Casa Amarillo! It is a quiet location. Plenty of room for a group. Ester the property manager was AMAZING! Anything we needed or wished for she made happen! Bonfire on the beach with a grill, massages on the beach, golf cart delivery, flight and shuttle arrangements, Covid testing at the house and stocking of provisions! Maintenance staff was top notch! The physical house was in need of some attention, dishwasher very old but working, areas of the exterior are in need of touch ups just due to age and tropical climate. Distance from town is about a half hour golf cart ride, so cart rental is a must. But overall-highly recommended a stay here! Thanks to Ester and her staff!!

Relaxing Family Vacation with Plenty of Options for Adventure
The property was fantastic, exceeding our expectations.
Well kept and maintained with all the comforts of home.
The property management group was outstanding. Professional and responsive, but with a personal friendly family feel. They were there to assist us with any and all of our needs.
Lots of options for exciting reef and jungle tours that would pick us up right at the dock.
The mosquitos are annoying, but only at dusk and dawn. The staff sprayed twice daily and made a big difference. Not as bad in town.
Delicious local foods, fresh fruit juices, rum, lots of suntan lotion and a little bug repellant and Casa Amarillo is truly a little slice of paradise well worth the cost.

My friends and I (8 people total) stayed at the property from October 8-12th and let me tell you, we are already discussing a return trip! The house is beautiful and the staff was amazing. They met us on the pier (we arrived via private water taxi), helped us with our luggage, and answered all of our questions. Ester is a jewel. She goes above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful time. We decided to do a last minute excursion one morning, and called Ester to see what our options were. Within 30 minutes, she had us booked for a private afternoon excursion! She's amazing. The house itself has beautiful views and was very clean and tidy. Do yourself a favor and book this place. It's a 10/10.
Also, if you have time, make sure to take a golf cart into town. The local food is super cheap and delicious. Check out Secret Beach as well.

Excellent stay!
We fully enjoyed our stay at Casa Amarillo. Location works for us perfectly: quite yet not far from city, 20 min from nearest supermarket. Have to note there is not a Sandy beach on the property . We swimmed out of the pier where by the way we were spending most of the time. The really super beach is Secret Beach which is in one our drive from the property. Special thanks to the managing company. Super responsive, helpful, really taking care.

This house was absolutely perfect for my family! It was myself, my husband, our 3 boys (5,12,13), and my mother in law. The pool was used at all hours of the day and the nice shaded area next to it was very nice for my mother in law to stay out of the sun. The grounds keepers climbed the trees to get us fresh coconuts, the pier was perfect for catching the morning sunrise! The boys played volleyball and soccer in the sand. The house was very clean and Cindy and Ester were available at all times to help us arrange our snorkeling tour, give us tips on where to eat and assist us with all our needs during our stay! I highly recommend this home! I know we will be back. Only negative thing, lots of mosquitoes. Thankfully we brought plenty of bug spray! I'm missing Belize already!

We loved the pool, dock, and staff checking in on us from pelican reef. Our only complaint is that there is no option of walking to anything to do/eat from here. You must take a golf cart. Also there really isn’t much swimming off the beach and dock, the water is murky with a lot of mosquitos. The host left two kayaks for us which we used to paddle out to clear water maybe 100feet off the dock which was great. We had a group of 10 and loved that we could be picked up on our dock for excursions and fishing/dive trips. The volleyball court was a great touch. The kitchen upstairs is bigger than the downstairs, and the staircase between the two levels is outside, which we didn’t mind at all. Overall a great stay! Thank you Pelican Reef!
