About this apartment rental
2 person apartment with private deck, direct access to the lagoon (ocean front) for swimming, snorkeling or diving.. The apartment has a fantastic view over the lagoon, the ocean, the coastline of the dolphins jumping at Dolphin Academy. The apartment is in a gated community with a swimming pool and beach. You will have a private parking space. The apartment is five minutes walk from bars, restaurants and shops at Seaquarium Beach. Layout: bathroom with shower and washing machine, separate toilet, fully equipped kitchen, desk arrea, living room with sitting area and covered patio. Bedroom with double bed (160 x 200), air conditioning and closets and safe. Outside is a terrace with a beautiful loungeset and umbrella and down to the dock is a seating area, outdoor shower and two deck chairs with umbrella. The apartment is professionally managed.

We loved the location of this property. Everything we needed and very responsive host. Loved to snorkel out front and watch/listen to the dolphins. Took advantage of the washer which is a wonderful amenity! Another favorite is the outdoor/indoor living. Would love to stay again -- in fact, just didn't want to leave!

The water access off the deck is AMAZING! We snorkeled everyday! They provide the equipment. They also knew it was our honeymoon do they left us champagne. This place is truly a hidden gem!

Everything was just perfect. What an incredible experience. The unit is just enough. Well maintained. The private deck with swimming right there. We traveled the entire Island over a week and we had the best spot . Wouldn’t have needed tom eben leave. The deck area is like its own living quarters. Beautiful Island. Perfect Lodging. Precies wat je nodig hebt voor twee personen. Airco in de slaapkamer is super en ook de ventilatoren aan het plafond in de kamer en op het terras zijn heel fijn. Verder goede uitrusting voor een heel ontspannen vakantie.

Location, Location, Location!
My wife and I had a wonderful birthday experience at this unit. It was especially nice due to not being able to go into the water at the local beaches due to Covid-19. Snorkeling off the deck is terrific and watching the dolphins nearby was a great treat. Raeanna was terrific and available at all times. We had one minor bump in the road, but it was handled professionally! We would absolutely come back to this property and recommend it to everyone!

A little piece of paradise
The property has the best location, just besides the Seaquarium. The best snorkeling on the whole island is at your feet, right off the deck of your own condo! The only downside was the absence of a microwave. But besides that, it was wonderful

Best Vacation Ever
This place is literally paradise! My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we had an amazing time snorkeling and swimming. It is within walking distance to Mambo Beach which has great restaurants and shops, and you can see dolphins jumping at the aquarium next door. There is also a free shuttle that takes you to the grocery store so you can buy food. The condo is so nice you won't want to go anywhere else!

Heerlijk appartement
Klopt helemaal zoals de beschrijving op de website met wat extras: de mooiste koraalrif van het eiland bevindt zich net om de hoek. Het is gelukkig niet altijd bereikbaar (daarom is het zo mooi daar) door golven/wind. De bloemen en vogelbadje in de tuin zorgt ervoor dat wij bij het ontbijt gezelschap krijgen van de suikerdiefjes en kolibries! Ook de dolfijnen van de Dolphin Academy geven ons af en toe een show. Zij waren ook in de weken dat wij daar waren bezig geweest met het opzetten van koraal tuinen in het water bij onze steiger. Het huis klopt gewoon en gezellig. De verschillende terrasjes geven genoeg opties om heerlijk buiten te leven. Met Mambo beach om de hoek is het fijn om uitgebreid te kunnen dineren zonder dat je hoeft te rijden. Genoeg privacy op t.o.v. de buren. Tip voor de volgende gasten: neemt een verrekijker mee als je die hebt. Dan kan je ook de dolfijnen spotten als zij in de open zee gaan zwemmen! Zita, onze manager, was geweldig en stond altijd klaar om ons te helpen met tips en onze vragen te beantwoorden.

Perfect spot for 2
Perfect little apartment. Note that the sofa opens into a second bed, so 2 people who are not a couple can sleep separately. We had everything we needed - about the only thing we missed was having a microwave, but the oven and stove did the job. As expected, we spent most of our time when we were at the apartment out on the deck enjoying the wonderful view, and the retractable awning kept the sun and very occasional rain off. The location was great - not far from town, 2 minute walk to the Ocean Encounters dive shop at the Lion's Dive Resort for diving adventures, and a short swim to a really healthy and beautiful reef on the outside of the Sea Aquarium. A fun snorkel is to swim out the break on the south side of the Sea Aquarium, and allow the prevailing currents to sweep you leisurely north around the Sea Aquarium until you reach Mambo Beach, where you can exit and walk back. We even encountered the dolphins from Sea Aquarium on this snorkel when they were out with their trainers, and the trainers had the dolphins swim and leap around us a few times! Karin and Zita, the property managers, were great communicators, and Zita helped us make the most of our visit. When our rental car was not immediately available, she told us about the 9:00 am shuttle bus from the nearby Lions Dive Resort to a nearby supermarket so we could get provisions before our rental car arrived. An idyllic spot for a great vacation.

Excellent! Comfortable studio unit with all the amenities. Shaded outside patio areas were
spacious and enjoyable. The calm sea was waiting for you to take advantage of, which we enjoyed as we snorkelled amongst an excellent variety of fish along the long rock banks. We could see the dolphins practice in the sea aquarium as well as enjoy the ocean views . late afternoon was a treat sitting by the water and Mambo Beach nearby with some good restaurants.
Curacao is more expensive for food than Canada, but by combining restaurants out and preparing some meals in (with great grocery store food and beer) We spent less than I thought I might have to.

Beautiful view
The stay was amazing. The space is perfect for 2 people and Everything was super clean! The bedroom has air conditioning and you don’t need it in the rest of the place because of the breeze.
Outside, the deck is pretty private due to the greenery between the neighbors. It is beautiful and you can jump right into the water.
It is super close to tons of restaurants, mambo beach, and Eric’s ATV tours.
We are from America so the outlets were not the same but they had a few adapters available.

Excellent stay - warm & friendly welcome
Superb small and tidy apartment for couples, fully equipped with everything you need. The outside area is great, with plenty of space and shade for the hotter parts of the day. This opens up onto the decking with direct access to the lagoon - great for swimming and a bit of snorkelling and a useful outdoor shower. The location is also superb, being close to the lively Mambo beach area and all the associated bars etc. There’s a supermarket within a 40minute walk, which you can also get a local bus to. If you want to explore further, I’d highly recommend a car, but it’s not an absolute necessity.
Property Managers Karin and Zita are both very warm, friendly and welcoming and very helpful with any questions and advice and made the organisation and stay very easy!
The only slight negative I could mention is that the decking is not quite as private as it appears on the photos, with a neighbouring deck and ladder directly next door to the right and an apartment directly above, but set back. This didn’t cause us any problems at all, but is worth mentioning.
I’d highly recommend a stay here and would definitely come back.

Best location!
My husband and I loved this condo. It was the second time we have stayed in this area on the lagoon. The condo had everything we needed and was very clean. Zita was very helpful. She picked up groceries for us before we arrived. Swimming in the lagoon every morning off of the dock was a highlight. We will come back again!

Great
The apartment is fine, clean and well appointed. Kitchen has everything you need and it is clean. Would have preferred separate bedroom, but that was our choice. The decks outside are great, just dive right in and enjoy your swim and rinse off with the outdoor shower. Plenty of room outside to sit either in sun or shade. The people that look after the place are amazing, needed some help with medical issue, Zita looked after me very well and even drove me to my appointment , could not have asked for more. Shuttle bus to grocery store, for those with no car, everything else within walking distance and if you wanted to go into town, just use local bus service. Nice little beach available right within Ocean Resort, or just walk to Mambo Beach, 3 min away. Would stay there again, enjoyed it very much. Again Zita thank you for all you did for us. Amazing.

Wonderful view, great place to enjoy the water. Walking distance to food and night life
The photos are very accurate. Nice clean place and the patio and deck are larger than the inside! Snorkeling is good right off of the deck, and great coral off of the point, if the waves don't beat you to death. Came here to celebrate our 50th anniversary and were greeted with a nice bottle of wine and wind glasses from the owner. Very much appreciated her doing that
The good - The Dolphin experience is the bridge you see in the photo. Everyday my wife and I could see the Dolphins jumping and could see them swimming under the bridge, really fun. The Dolphin experience, the Sea aquarium, a little Sea Lion show, plus Hemingway's, many restaurants and shops at Mambo beach, and dive shop are literally a 3 minute walk. We found our favorite restaurant at Mood beach, just by walking down the beach one night. Wonderful location but far enough away from some of the bars that noise wasn't an issue.
We spent the entire time on the patio and wood deck, eating outside or watching the stars.
The not so good - When we arrived, the cook top, the Microwave/convection oven combo and the plug for the TV were not working. Really disappointing because we couldn't cook anything for a day and 1/2. The cook top did get fixed but the microwave/oven was out the entire time we were there and other tenants were coming when we left. This is the only reason I gave the place 4 stars and not 5. Also, there were no paper products like toilet paper anywhere, so had to make a grocery run the night we arrived.
Things to be aware of -- The entire place is wired for European 220, so bring a 220 to 110 converter if you are coming from the US. We looked for 4 days to find one locally and no one had anything. Luckily, I found a dual 110 socket in the utility closet and used that to charge our phones and devices, but without that we would have been in big trouble.
There is an additional charge for electricity, that I didn't see called out in any of the rental agreement, but could be wrong. Just be aware that the management company will monitor the electricity usage and you could be charged. Consequently we only ran the air conditioner that, by the way, is only in the bedroom, at night. However, because the place has wonderful sliding doors and great ventilation, we didn't need air conditioning during the day.
Overall, we really liked the unit and would stay here again, provided everything is in working order. The deck and the view were well worth some inconveniences.

The apartment is neat and has everything a couple needs, the decking gives a spacious feel.
Mambo beach next door was great for wallowing in the shallows and cocktails at hemingways. Nearby supermarkets gives good options for self catering.
We went to the sea aquarium which was OK although usual mixed feelings about wildlife in captivity. The dolphins can be seen jumping from the deck anyway.
We ate out at limoncello and greenmans but both pretty average.
Can 100 %recommend this accommodation.

Wij werden netjes ontvangen bij het resort.
Auto kan makkelijk achter een poort, in de studio was aan alles gedacht.
Van alle gemakken voorzien.
Elke ochtend lekker wakker worden met het aan de overkant springende dolfijnen en het vrolijke gepiep van ze.
Loop afstand van mambo boulevard en andere leuke strandjes.
Huisje was erg schoon en kwamen nog schoonmaaksters langs om alles te vervangen. (handdoeken/theedoeken/ bedlinnen)
De steiger is heerlijk! Je duikt zo de zee in om je vervolgens af te spoelen met een buitendouche.
Echt een super aanrader dus dit appartement.
