Had everything we expected in an excellent location - walking distance to Restaurants / Bars / Boulangerie / Mini Supermarket / Spar / Poissonnerie / Lidl / Pharmacie.
Village life is a pure delight.
The Pool and Villa facilities are excellent.

The property overall was really good. We had a lovely time bringing back lots of memories from the past. We had a couple of issues that were resolved quickly. We loved the old village and the bars/restaurants equillay the campsite just around the corner we enjoyed for a few drinks at lunch time and a panni!! My only negative comment would be if you are a beach person its a 45 minute walk to the beach. The buses to and from Perpignan although cheap are very infrequent. All in all had a lovely holiday first time in St Cyprien although many many times in Canet when our children were younger.

We had a brilliant time in St-Cyprien and in this property. It is very spacious and well laid out. The weather being so good we made full house of the great outdoor space and most importantly the fantastic “plancha” barbecue almost every night. And most importantly both the owner and property manager have been wonderful, very friendly and most helpful at suggesting places to eat and activities to get involved in. A really excelle property, great owner, manager and fantastic location. We thoroughly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay here and really enjoyed all the amenities of the property. Valerie, who greeted us when we arrived, was most helpful then and on a couple of occasions during our stay. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you could need and BBQ was great and easy to use! The swimming pool was the highlight of the holiday and we spent many hours in and around it!
We didn’t have a car which made access to local shops & the plage a little challenging so would recommend others staying here have the use of a car.
All in all a beautiful couple of weeks of complete rest and relaxation.

Excellent
A perfect family villa with all the kit of your own home. We literally wanted for nothing which is a holiday rarity and a real joy....! Rooms and space perfect, a plethora of books DVDs for kids and adults.....brilliant. Pool lovely and very well maintained. Lots of outside sunbeds and chairs, good space, different areas and shade plus a garden lovely. Great agents who popped round gave info and help with any maintenance.
amenities close by, walkable to get croissants in the morning and local very friendly bars and beautiful walkable ancient French village. You could do without a car but I would advise as there are great markets to explore a fab beach and lots to see and do. Kids were delighted with the snorkeling and variety. Can't rate it highly enough.....!!

Well appointed spacious villa.
This villa, whilst a little tricky to find was really well located and convenient for both the village and the beach although a car is definitely required.
The villa itself is fully air conditioned, very spacious and comfortably furnished with everything we needed.
The pool and outdoor seating and eating areas are lovely.
We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this accommodation to others.

a nice house in the south of France
The house is very practical and well displayed with a large living/dining room perfect for a large group. The outside space with the barbecue and large table was perfect for dinner and even lunch as it is perfectly under the shadow. The house is perfect for family with young kids. + had many DVD's and some toys for kids which was a blessing. The pool is a very decent size.
to note that one of the bedroom is done as an extension of the house hence no aircon / not much natural light

Perfect Property, Perfect Location
This one is a gem - the house was spotlessly clean when we arrived and is deceptively spacious. The kitchen area is big, has all the plates, pans and kitchen utensils you'll ever need and has an enormous fridge/freezer (good for storing those big boxes of Rose wine that you'll buy). The bedrooms are also large and well laid out with plenty of storage for clothes and all your holiday bits and pieces, plus there is a utility room with even more storage.
The outside area is great for kids and adults alike, nice lawns to the front and rear, a long washing line - which will get wet from the overnight sprinklers so remember to bring your stuff in at night - and a fantastic covered BBQ area that has a sink and a flat-top plancha for easy cooking and cleaning. Good parking space too - we had two cars but you could get a third in there too. However, the best thing about the outside is the pool. It is big and great for leaping in on a hot day but also has steps and shallow areas for kids or just for dipping your feet in. Never too cold, never too hot and it has a cover if you are worried about little ones running around near it.
In terms of location it couldn't be better really. You can walk into the village (good little pub there and a restaurant that is HUGE inside) and it's five minutes drive to the huge beaches and the marina where there are loads of shops and more restaurants. On the way to the beach is a golf course and a sailing lake which you can fish on too. If you are into fishing there are rocky areas on the beach from which to either launch a beachcaster, or follow the locals and use a light rod for the smaller fish closer in.
As a base, we went to Ceret (lots of original Picasso and Maillot there), took maybe 20 minutes by car, and Perpignan but you could easily get further out if you want to explore the Pyrenees more. There are some lovely little villages up and down the coastline which are good for a day's visit. Everywhere you go there are the mountains in the background and they are absolutely beautiful.
In summary: perfect location and a great villa to stay. The only thing I would say is that this is a more modern part of France so expect tourists (mostly French though) and newer property estates rather than lots of big old rambling gite-type houses. We loved it and would go back in a heartbeat, very highly recommended.

Fantastic holiday! We'll definitely be back!
I stayed in the villa for 10 days with my partner, our 6 month old son, and another couple with their three small children.
The place was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and the couple looking after the villa on the owners' behalf were really helpful.
The bedrooms in the villa are spacious and there are few nice touches, like the jacuzzi in one of the showers, a barbecue, an outdoor sheltered dining area for our lunches al fresco and nights in.
The shops are really close (10 minutes walk) and so is the nearest restaurant, which was really handy, especially because we were there with children.
We didn't have to bring towels or bedsheets as they were all provided by the owners, which came in handy since we had more room for our baby stuff in the luggage.
I have to say that the villa has everything you need: all sorts of kitchen utensils, fast Wifi, a big selection of books, DVDs, TV, air conditioning (which was very handy), dishwasher and washing machine. It really is a home away from home.
We used the private pool every day and our friends' kids had a great time in the pool. The place has sun beds, and we were sunbathing while we could watch our baby in the shade under the trestle.
The marina is 5-10 minutes drive away where are lovely shops, bars and restaurants.
After our lovely time spent in the villa, I would highly recommend staying in the place and we will definitely be returning next year!

Would highly recommend
We stayed in this villa for two weeks with another family and couldn't fault the accommodation. The layout of the villa was ideal with spacious bedrooms and several bathrooms. The pool was bigger than we were expecting and was used daily by us. The outside area was ample for 8 people. In fact, the accommodation was so ideal that we spent more time at the villa than going out! The location is also great - a ten minute walk to the old village and a short walk to catch the train to the newer town. The couple who look after the villa for the owners were also extremely helpful on anything we needed and gave us lots of local knowledge. We would definitely recommend to anyone and hope to visit again!

Perfect for a family holiday with little ones!
The villa was in great condition with everything you could need for a family holiday.
We were two families, 1 with a 2 year old and another with a 2 and 4 year old. The space, layout, rooms and location were great. The supermarket is walking distance and the beach is easy to drive to in 5 mins.
The pool was a massive hit with the kids and they all spent lots of time gaining confidence in the water and swimming. The pool cover was a must and being a hard shell meant that when we weren't swimming we were able to close the pool completely to stop the children falling in.
The outdoor space was great, nice big table and BBQ for eating. The kitchen had everything we needed, dishwasher and washing machine were super useful and made light work of having 3 children there.
The villa has an electric gate so once inside you are completely enclosed meaning it was very safe for young children - no way for them to wander off or leave the property. This meant they could play freely outside, round the corner on their bikes etc.
The wifi and DVD collection was useful for the day it rained.
The beach at St Cyprien is nice, quite steep going down to the water and we found the waves quite big. Not so great for the 2 year olds, but they had a lovely time building sandcastles anyway. The wind seem to get up in the afternoon so it wasn't as hot as expected on the beach, however it may have been the weather on this week.
The bars and cafes near the beach were very welcoming to families and we had some lovely meals at lunchtime there. The port is great, very busy at night, but ok in the day for a stroll and shopping.
The market was a highlight, lovely artisan stuff as well as clothes and food. Some markets can be full of cheap tat, not this one! Would recommend a visit, but don't go too late or it will all be closing (after 1.30pm).
We drove from Manchester, UK and Celle, Germany down to St Cyprien. It was a long way (2 full 12 hrs days in the car with stops) would recommend flying to give more time relaxing in France and the med, not in a car!
Overall, very pleased - if you want a nice relaxing family holiday, with a nice pool, nearby beach and family friendly places to eat, then I would definitely recommend staying here - it's so easy!

Fantastic Villa in a great location
We really enjoyed staying at this Villa. We were there for a week with another family who like ourselves have 2 young children. The property is very secure, with a high wall and electric gate so there was no issue with the kids running around. Also the pool benefits from a sound cover so once this was closed you could relax.
The interior of the Villa was great also, with good sized bedrooms and lots of bathrooms. The kitchen was well appointed. The BBQ outside was really good and dead easy to clean.
The surrounding area was really good although we didn't venture too far. The shops are a 10-minute walk away and cater for everything you need - the grocer's is particularly good. The beach is a 15 minute drive away (traffic dependent). We didn't get the bus as it looked too busy therefore we risked driving and the parking was pretty easy. It's nice once there with a good choice of restaurant's.
During our visit Liz and Steve the local contacts were nice and helpful. The owner - Niamh - was great to deal with in relation to booking etc and made the experience really easy.
Overall a great place to stay, particularly for families with young kids, and the booking etc was simple. Would happily stay again and will recommend to friends.

Five of us spent a wonderful week in this beautiful house in a fabulous area, perfect for a lovely holiday. We ranged in age from 22 (and 24 year old sister, their parents and seventy eight year old grandmother, all of us equally in love with the house and this beautiful corner of France. The house itself was spacious, spotless, cool (air conditioning), comfortable, beautifully furnished, a superb, with a fantastically stocked kitchen (we found any implement we decided to look for!). It was suitable and safe for all ages . My seventy eight year old mum was comfortable and secure here. The garden is gorgeous also and is quite a big size. There is a beautiful outdoor eating and bar b que area, complete with a sink and preparation area....so no one was stuck indoors preparing food. There was ample outdoor sitting and sunbathing areas. We could choose whether to sit in the sun or the shade, depending on our individual preferences and mood at the time. The pool was great, and we all swam every day there at some point. The area is a great holiday area. The house is in a very quiet, safe residential area, there is a quiet, very French village nearby. On the other side of the house is a parade with supermarket' bakery, fish shop and restaurant which are all excellent quality. There is a lovely park nearby, which is a decent 45 minute round walk ( very possible to incorporate a coffee and croissant with a 'sit-down' in the bakery on the way home if wished!). There are two very good quality restaurants within walking distance from the house, and a number a short drive away. There are beautiful beaches a short drive away, there is plenty of choice there. There are stunning places to visit nearby, all mentioned on the website, with very good directions given too. My favourite place to visit was the beautiful seaside town of Couliere. Our daughters, in their early 20's enjoyed visiting the port each evening for a social outlet. There was a bus, a little tourist train and a very friendly, fun, trustworthy and reliable local taxi driver, which they occasionally used also. Liz and Steve, the caretakers were very helpful. Our arrival was delayed by a few hours, so we arrived quite late in the evening, hungry and very tired. Liz and Steve had left fresh bread and cheese in the kitchen, along with soft drinks, wine and beer. This was very welcome, as we were able to relax and settle in. They were willing to help at any time. We'll be back !

Great Villa
The villa was perfect for our needs. On one level, perfect with a toddler. Also pool abri and security gates gave us peace of mind when children in garden. Separate "wing" ideal as family of 4 with 2 grandparents.
Lovely little parade of shops short walk from villa provided all we needed, supermarket, great fresh fish shop, bakery etc.
Lovely beach approx 5 mins.
Really enjoyed our stay and loved the area.

Excellent holiday
Our stay in the villa was a real success. The owner made arrangements easy for us and was very accommodating both when we wanted to add a fifth adult at the last minute and when my daughter and her family requested an extra night's stay at the end to fit in with their flights. The house and garden were ideal for our party of five adults and two toddlers. There was a separate 'wing' where the grandparents had perfect peace and quiet and a garden where everyone could be doing different things according to their interests, while always seeing that the children were safe. The abri on the swimming pool and the electric gate were a real help in this regard. Liz and Steve, who look after the villa, could not have been more helpful. The villa is situated in a quiet, residential area within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants and easy driving distance of everything the south-west of France has to offer.

Fantastic Villa!
We stayed here with two families, totalling 10 of us in all. We spent a glorious two weeks in the sun. I couldn't recommend it highly enough!
The villa was spotless upon arrival. The couple who look after the property were great, and gave us loads of local advice. We felt at ease throughout the entire stay simply because we could let the kids out to play in the garden and knew they were safe, when the cover was on the pool.
There are two/three restaurants within walking distance as well as a supermarket. Just down the road there was a mini train which we took to the beach a couple of days and down to the port at night. There was also a bus from the village to take you to Perpignan, which we took once. There was a water park, Aqualand, close by also, which the kids loved.

Thank you for a lovely stay
Lovely holiday at this lovely house - all mod cons and spotlessly clean. The pool and BBQ area at the house are fabulous and the long sandy beach, crazy golf and watersport centre are all only a short drive away. A very good supermarket, bakery and a couple of restaurants and a tapas bar are just 5 minutes walk away. Ideal location for family holiday or group getaway. Very happy to recommend this property, and arranging the booking with the owner was seamless. She was extremely helpful and provided us with lots of information prior to taking our trip. Looking forward to being back sometime in future. GG
